Have any of you noticed that they removed the play store link from the launcher menu? Well I find this quite annoying as I like a quick way to open the play store without having to click on the app from the drawer each time or clutter my home page with an extra short cut.
I decompiled the Launcher and from what I can tell at first glance I think they just disabled it, as they still have it on some older builds. Example: I just reflashed stock 4.1.2 for my S2 through Kies and it has the playstore option when you pop up the menu in the launcher drawer. Do any of you know what files would need to be modified to re-enable this? Any help is greatly appreciated....:cyclops:
Screenshot incase any of you are not familiar to the area of the launcher I am referring to.

Hey,
isnĀ“t the task manager just added in Touchwiz Roms (Samsung Stock roms)?
If you watch the attached vid in this link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1420996
you can see that Samsung have added a button for the tm in the left corner...
gn8
It's been integrated into ICS (Sammy & AOSP) but in that particular picture ^ it's part of the launcher. It's called ICS Launcher (based on ADW - I don't like it) and it can be found HERE.
You can tell from looking at the bottom bar of the "tasks", it has the Honeycomb status bar
I lowered my density and tried Go Contacts but was not thrilled. Has anyone tried any others they liked?
Is it safe to freeze the stock phone and contact apparently with Titanium?
I downloaded exdialer from the market and really like it. Now my only question is obviously that is just a dialer and contact program, is there a modified phone.apk anywhere that is scalable? As an example I dialed from ex to a number with an extension so I had to open the dial pad which is not full screen.
I have seen a fullscreen dialer, but I didn't like the way it looks.
Its called BigDialer on the Play store.

I found, that Google Dialer app can be installed on stock ROM.
When placed to /system/priv-app
with proper permissions it makes calls, search phone numbers of places nearby.
The problem is, that it doesn't behave as launchable app. It has no icon in drawer. The only way is, to launch activity
com.google.android.dialer/com.android.dialer.DialtactsActivity
Click to collapse
. I used QuickShortcutMaker app to make shortcut to my home screen. But is there some better solution? Some way to make the app "launchable"?

Set up OnePlus 3 (HK variant) today, bought from reseller.
When i went to change the icons it had Dives and Rifon icon pack already installed and they are under system apps (both 2.8mb)
I looked on app store and they are both not free and they do not show up as installed in google play.
should i flash a fresh copy from oneplus site
Well i have flashed full rom to update to 3.2.1 and i can confirm that they are present in system. so no need to worry.

Hi, I have them also installed.
But they seem only to work with the Original Launcher.
I am with nova launcher. And when I choose Dives or Rifon I do not see a change in the icons.
Can you confirm or does it work with an third party launcher?
Thank you.
Hi everyone
I wonder if the new Pixel launcher will works, maybe with a flashable zip, with HTC 10 keeping its features like swipe right for Google now etcetera...
I've only found APKs of Pixel launcher, but installing as a normal app of course won't give full access to its functionalities...
Anyone can help me with this easy (I think) task?
Just moved the APK into /system/apps and set permission.
Everything worked, as expected.
The only thing that miss now is to edit weather widget on lock screen, and then will be perfect!
There is a Magisk Module for the Pixel Launcher
