What should i format my sd card to exfat or fat32? Which is better I mean because around the Internet some say exfat is better and some say fat32 is better im a bit confused.

Fat32 Is supported more.. Their difference is like you can't store a huge file in fat32 and you are limited to certain number of files in a folder.. However that's not a problem since that limitation is very high and its hard to get to it.. Anyways I recommend FAT32

I think the file size limit is 4g for fat32. As said by previous post fat32 is more supported but since Samsung released their exfat source code exfat is pretty much almost just as well supported

Does anyone else get lag whilst playing nova 2?
Sent from my R800i using XDA App
Lag on such games usually relates to SD card speed, the game may not be loading your files quickly enough
But, I have a SanDisk class 4 32gb. Isn't this good enough? Have any of you seen the lexar class 10? How does this compare?

I have a 32gb Patriot memory class 10 SDHC card. I need to know whether it's a FAT32 or an EXTFAT format. Can anyone help me? I can't find it anywhere online

Can't you just format the card to whatever format you need it to be?

Only 64GB+ SDXC cards come pre-formatted as EXFAT; 32 and below are SDHC and FAT32.
Thanks

I have a 64gb samsung sd card. Formated to exfat. Iv installed redpil kernel to my n7100 running alliance rom. Used STweaks to change exfat sd to internal storage. That works fine. Go to settings - storage and my phone is showing as having 64gb of internal storage. The prob is when I install apps they are still saving to the phone memory which is showing ad external storage in settings.
Iv sesrched all over forums google youtube.
Has anyone else hsd this problem..

I want to format the 32Gb storage to FAT32 but it keeps on formatting to generic hierarchical. I've heard that FAT32 is much better than generic hierarchical but my main reason is so that I can transfer large files to my Xbox. So is there any way?
its already Fat32

You should download the Sdcard mounter in the theems and apps menu somewhere, it mounts your xs as Fat32

edit
I have just bought a LG G Pad (Non GPE) to replace my old Ipad 2. I have added a Sandisk Class 10 32gb micro sd.
Generally very happy with it except when I try to install any large app such as games, I get an "Insufficient Space" error.
I have installed a few small apps but I should still have space available.
Under storage in settings you need to see what is taking up your space if you have music or videos you need to use file manager and move them to that SD card because we can't install apps onto the SD card unless your rooted and have the mod or molded Rom. But I have several games on mine with plenty of space

Care to share which Rom/mod you use to move apps to SD card?
Thanks!
