[ROM][Discontinued] iSensationHD SENSE HD : FASTEST EVER : OPTIMIZED (v1.0)

About the rom:
I've been using many Sense builds, but I kept finding that the speed isn't optimal.
So I've been working for a long time to the create of the fastest Sense HD rom for the Desire Z/G2 ever: iSensationHD
It's a rom based on:
Desire Z: v1.82
Desire Z: v1.85
Desire HD: v1.84
A quick comparison:
I've used the same OC kernel for both builds.
Stock Scores a quadrant score of 2219
iSensationHD Scores a quadrant score of 2417
Features:
Re-engineered all apk's
PNG-Optimized every single apk using two optimizers
Zipaligned every apk
Re-engineered all framework files.
Removed app's I don't use.

Doesn't that just make Sense?​
I've heard about the battery issues. I'll work on a fix and upload the themed version, in about 36 hours from now (probably less). I will also see if I can include an desire Z phone app which rotates. About making a update.zip for the removed packages, I chose not to do because if you just want one app back, you don't want 20 others with it. Thats's why they are in a rar archive and are able to be adb pushed to system/app. Let me know if I missed any bugs!

With all due respect, I dispute your benchmark claims regarding Virtuous specifically. Using our own advanced kernel, clocked to the maximum, we consistently produce Quadrant scores of between 2350-2500.
Everyone welcomes more ROM options to the community and I am no exception, but please make sure your claims are accurate if you're going to compare.

I haven't used SetCPU and just ran the benchmark right post install, don't mean to crank your work down

to me benchmarks numbers dont matter , the htc vision is a fast device as it is.

Just trying to share some stuff I personally use. The rom just feels awesomely fast with the window animations when clicking through settings.
I know that I'm just changing work of others, but the problem is that everything has been released already! Back on my x10 mini pro I was able to do some serious porting, but that was because I was the only actual developer on the forum section when I started.

Ah sorry, the themed version of the rom isn't finished yet. Well, it's finished but it has to be PNG-optimized and uploaded which takes multiple hours and I don't have time for it yet. It will be up in ~3 days, sorry for the inconvenience!

PngOptimizerCL and roptipng.
I used the opto-signer "kitchen" from here.

Extract it to the root of your drive. (e.g. C:\opto_signer\)
Drop your update.zip into it
open the script. Easy as that!

Hey, I'm running your Rom now, seems pretty good. The only thing I have is that I surely miss Trackpad Wake. If you can add that, it would be great. You can sign into HTC Sense, which is cool. The animations are very fast, wow.

If you add trackpad awake please make if an option. Alot of people including myself do not like it at all. Great work tho!!

[8.DEC.11][CLK/MAG][EU/TMO] HTC Supersonic 4.54.651.1 Ram Method[v0.7][marc 0.1.3]

Here is my HTC Evo 4G port for the HD2, from the HTC Sprint 4.24.651.1 ruu. I removed the 4G/RIL/Wimax related scripts, binaries, and libs in this rom, and also the incompatible Sprint apps that required nextel or sprint subscription. I tried to keep this rom as stock as possible. Some stuff doesn't work because or HD2 doesn't support it (HDMI output, 4g) I will probably disable these menus in later releases via framework-res. The Ram-Method is purely the work of Imilka and Darkstone, I only modified it for great compatibility with this rom.
This is the FINAL version if there are not any major bugs. I will provide support, if the issue is severe and the patches don't work (e.g call/data issue for those not living in the US and have a 10 digit phone number)
Themes/Visual Mods are available, since I have based my rom off the latest sprint ota update now..
Supports both CLK and Magldr, and Eu/Tmo HD2 versions

I have only tested the "transparent 100% Transparent Header / Background / Notifiacations Title bar" mod, and it worked fine for me. However, I did not have time to test all of them but they should be working fine. The framework files are the same and there should be no problem whatsoever.

This has sense 2.0 but with a gingerbread base (2.3.3) as it is on the HTC Evo 4G, I don't think there are any 2.1 sense updates out yet as of now. There are some slight graphical glitches but there shouldn't be enough to bother you. Camcorder doesn't work (don't try or system will bug) but I will try to fix it in the next release.

Nice going! This is what I've been waiting for, a Sense-based Gingerbread ROM that is made for a phone closer to the actual specs of our HD2s. The Sense 3 ROMs are nice and all, but they just don't work well on the lower powered HD2. This Sense-based GB ROM, however, is made for the Evo 4G which has basically the same hardware as our HD2.
I'm still confused about the graphical glitches. Apparently the kernel is to blame for them.

So um has anyone actually tried it yet?

I have just flashed the rom and so far all seems good and smooth,only problem I have found so far is that I have no mobile data (EU HD2)

Honestly, I don't see anything worth porting from the Gingerbread Evo 4G, but here it is...

FOR THOSE WHO WANT TO USE THIS ROM WITH EU HD2
1. Insufficient storage problem
Refer to http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1197751 this thread, download dta2sd patch, install the patch RIGHT AFTER installing the rom.
When it's done, download a2sdgui app from market, then move dalvik cache to ext partition.
2. Languages other than English, Spanish
download morelocale2 from market. There would be your language locales in there.

That happens because there is no APN settings. You gotta check if APN is in or not.

It is a little binary that a developer from the Mytouch 3G section used in his roms that I just adapted for use here. You can poke around in my rom and see how I did it

Like sorceforge said, input APN manually for now until I can find a fix, I added an apn.conf but it doesn't seem to be read by system.

On a side note the LED notification is not working. Doesn't even show the charging status.
I remember when this was giving problems in GB roms and some lights.lib etc was being replaced which was working. Any ideas?

the error is harmless. it doesn't do anything. it's because the kernel was poorly packed but that doesn't mean it will not work.
for the language I don't know... I will still continue and make my own mod after porting is done from the same source as this one hence is the same source available for us. Add a little more tweaks from galaxy mini and rc2 will be available.

I have tried it. Great rom but there are some a bit laggy. I hope that you will release the full one

bad news though, matt's evervolv has alot of problems, thats why i ported from the eris over in heroc land. those red borders arent going to go away, and i could never get camera working with official evervolv for heroc.
id say keep trying to port from eris, they have the most going on. or look here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1693659 (cm9 from source for heroc) and try to port from that and add libs from eligo for eris.

There is a rom already built in the CDMA forums by whoshotjr2006 (great rom btw ) from Cyanogenmod9 that has theme chooser, ive ported it to the gsm and it works quite well if you want me to upload it i will.
But its still quite slow.

Paste the ROM into your phone's Internal SD
Boot into recovery
Make a backup of your previous ROM
Flash the ROM
Perform a full wipe
Flash any necessary files needed or prefered (kernel add-ons, tweaks, mods, etc.)
Boot into Bootloader
Flash the boot.img
Erase Cache using the following command :- fastboot erase cache
Reboot

First boot may take a while
Full wiping between updates is not necessary unless stated to
If anything were to go wrong (i.e Bootloop), boot into recovery, restore your previous backup and reflash your previous boot.img

This is a ROM I made for my personal use and I like lightweight ROMs. That's the goal of this ROM which is to make it as light and as empty as possible so you can decide how you want to fill it up or with what you fill it up with.
Suggestions are welcomed but please keep in mind, I am not obliged to implement them.
The goal of this ROM is to keep it lightweight and as close to stock to possible. Do not ask me to add third party bloatware (i.e Spotify, TuneIn Radio, Chrome, etc.) which you can install on your own. Also, don't ask me to pre-theme the ROM. My taste and yours may be galaxies apart.
If you have any issues, please post them in the thread so other members can help out in my absence.
There is no AROMA. Why ? Because I haven't fully mastered it yet. I may or may not choose to learn up on AROMA. The ROM is bare enough, there aren't much options to choose from.
Please keep in mind, I am a student and have school life to take care of. This means 2 things. XDA and developing come second to my other priorities, so don't expect daily or weekly updates with the latest bleeding edge features. It also means I won't have time for PMs or personally answering questions in this thread. I hope more experienced members can help me and each other out in this thread
If you want to base your work on mine, by all means go ahead. Just PM me and give credits to the people who I gave credits to. It's up to you if you want to give me credits.

Hey bud. I did everything like you said. First boot gets to hit one with beats audio, but then the phone reboots and and gets stuck on the HTC logo and just stays in a bootloop. I installed the rom, then ota, then the support file, wiped cache and that's what happened. Went back into recovery and reflashed support file, gets to the HTC one with beats then repeats again. Any suggestions?

after a lot of trying and failing got this to boot.
what worked is i first flashed the rom, then the vivow support and restored the boot only from an acsensation backup.
i think whats wrong is the boot.img in vivow support file. try swapping it with accensation boot.img.

switched to CWM, install works, but no WiFi and now button lights. Looks pretty though.

I've stuck at HTC logo and quit!
