[Q] need rom for - LG Optimus pro, L-04E, is it similar to F220K

Hi All
Please help me....
my friend bought the Optimus G pro L-04E, i searched for custom rom that fit to this devices and i couldnt find it,
L-04E Korea.
it seems he stuck with the Docomo gui and control
can someone help me understand/find?
1) is the L-04E and the F220K, are similar phones? can i flash F220K versions on the L-04E?
2) where i can find a good rom for the L-04E?
3) someone have a guide how to do flashing?

unfortunately the bootloader isnt unlocked so we cant flash custom roms to the og pro...from other users it seems that that is true of the international versions as well. next time a lil digging might save u the trouble of asking. there is rooting available so u can make some tweaks...at least for the att version. havent looked into weather it would work on other versions, maybe a dev will answer that for u. as for the docomo gui, the simplest answer to that is just install nova launcher or go launcher or some other launcher and use those themes, i used to use go launcher a lot and it has tons of customizations and controls u can tweak.

That current root method should work for all versions of this phone.

Flash a Korean Rom, by experience it's not dangerous to flash a wrong rom
Look on the forum to know how to flash if you don't found a thread you can test this method

thats the root for this device. again i would advice not to try flashing any roms...so far from whats been discussed in the bootloader unlock forum flashing will either brick ur device or it'll force a factory reset and all u'll do is wipe ur phone. we're almost to the point of being able to flash roms soon tho so give it a lil time. as for docomo pretty much trying to control ur phone, its still a droid, u can install apps to do cover everything pretty much. i rooted mine and loaded a different texting app and got rid of the one included by lg/att. as for contacts u can download different apps to manage contacts and dialers. i had mentioned go launcher before, they also have go contacts that is a customizable contact app, they hae their own text app too...so u dont have to use the docomo provided apps, even if u dont root it

the root guide is for AT&T only... should i use it if i am not AT&T?
i am scared to try and flash something that doesn't fit exactly...
where can i follow the progress for a custom rom for this phone?

That unroot method should work for all versions of the phone. If you do some digging you will find it is actually the same root method for the Optimus G.

after rooting... if i am removing some applications and the phone is unstable.... is factory reset will fix it?
or by removing the applications it just remove them forever?

Works for L-04e
Update, way too late. I got a message saying I had successful rooted. It in actuality had not worked. Still looking to root it.

I just got root on an Optimus G Pro L-04e NTT DoCoMo. Followed instructions at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2006946. It took me a couple of tries as I probably did something wrong, but I am now rooted.
I also tried FeeGee (paid version referenced in the above link) to get get the boot-loader unlocked. That hasn't worked for me. I started to do the more complicated manual version noted at the above link, but it looked like it was going to try to do the same thing and so gave up while I was still ahead.
I hope the bootloader unlock becomes available soon.

you can root a3+ by vroot 1.7.6
but sorry this phone won't get any updates

if i were u i would try a later version of cyanogen if u can get it to download or maybe a MIUI-tho normally they can be unstable n buggy iv always kinda liked em check it out

Something I want to know the new bootloader

A question friends, before taking the last step
I have a Roger I747M with bootloader and modem I747MVLDMF1 with v5 version of MIUI android 4.2.2, now the next thing is, I can update the bootloader to the latest version and still use the rom I have?
It keeps the recovery TWR working?
I can still install custom rom
I hope you can help me solve my doubts.

How are you trying to install it? Did you go to the official MIUM website?

Before installing custom ROMs, please do your research thoroughly and be sure you know what you're doing as there is no easier way to brick or backdoor your phone.

I tried with CWM...and now i'm using philz_touch_6.07.9-d2att.tar.
There isn't any official MIUI ROMS for my device : SGH-i747m
i tried a lot custom roms before and all work but i'm not able to install miui using porting roms.
it always give me error 7
i tried to install an old miui rom and work...but i can't take any photo.... it says " can't connect to camera.... error camera "
before, i had a Galaxy S2 International and worked perfectly with MIUI v5.

My problem is I have lagged on every 4.4.2 Kitkat rom
Ps.I'm using GT-I9082L device
My questions are :
-which samsung official firmware did you use before installed 4.4.2 unofficial ROM?
-Can I Install I9082 firmware on my I9082L device?
Or if anyone has better advice please leave it. I'm tired of trying to fix this problem.

I also have the GT-I908L and I am on CM11. I flashed this I9082LDCUBMK3_I9082LTHWBMK2_THW before installing CM11. No lag. Everything works.

You will need to register with the site to download. This is the THW version. It has no country code or carrier bloatware. I used Chotu's root and recovery. You will need to search the board for them. I downloaded those files a long time ago.

[Q] downgrade from kitkat to jellybean

Anyone i need help. i have s4 mini 19190. before i used jellybean and after kitkat release for my s4 mini i think jelly bean is more better than kitkat.. since use kitkat my Sd card now cannot readable and writeable.. and now i wanna downgrade to jellybean.. but i try to flash it from Odin its always failed.. so how to figure out? and how to make me can downgrade?
anyone please help me.. i need advice and guide..

you need to delete the bootloader file from the package, but i'm not sure how it's really made, i hope somebody other knows
