Compatible kernels with Virgin ROM?? - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S 4

So I've been hard pressed to find a single kennel compatible with this ROM. GE editions don't work and tmo ones boot up to lock screen, freeze and reboot.
Anyone know for sure of one that works with this ROM.
Also when I try reflashing the ROM to get the original kernel back, it goes unto a bootloop. Don't understand it?

Try one of these kernels at: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2367813kernels
They should work excellent with the VirginRom.......
Good luck!

[Request] Att Carrier Logo

I'm running clean rom 3.5 and my status bar just feels naked in the left corner. Could any one create an Att logo flashable zip and post it here? Or link me to a thread that has this already made.
Thank you for any help.

Or if anyone could extract the att carrier logo from their device that would be good as well.
Thanks in advance.

First option won't work for multiple reasons- 1: I cannot pen the required for creating the logo. 2: I'm a total noob and don't know how even if I could.
Second is not an option because o like clean rom and don't want to change to a lesser quality rom when I know someone with developing experience could probably do this in their sleep.
I don't even necessarily need an att logo. At this point I would just like to have a logo period.

A few (possibly dumb) questions.

I'm new to installing roms on the s3. I've had many different roms on my old Desire so I'm not entirely new to this, just had a few questions.
How easy is it to lose your imei number when flashing a new rom?
Is it dependent on anything specific?
Easy to fix if it does happen?
Anything else I should be worried about before flashing?
I'm looking at testing out cm10.1 and Task's rom as well as a few kernels.
Thanks.

Imei loss is random.
Best thing to do is to back it up. Easier to back up than to inject it back in manually. (Still not overly difficult but always have a backup)
Nothing to really worry about. Just don't flash a ROM not intended for your phone.

So say im just stock att and rooted, and wanted to flash say csrom. do u think i would lose my imei? I had a gs3 last year. I flashed cm10 from the stock rom, then two days later flashed another rom cant rem which one. thats when i lost my Imei. fixed it. then just used my one x. til last week when i got another gs3.. its rooted and and stock right now. guess i just need to back up etc. before flashing just to be sure. etc..
So I guess this is just a problem we sometimes need to live with? Just back it up and restore as needed.

Sounds like it. I have been flashing roms and since my first android, htc hero.. never had a bricked phone or anything etc.. before that win mobile, again never had any issues. as long as you read and pay attention all will be good. I want to flash a rom on this s3 but gotta find the time to back up and such. kinda hard with a wife that's a RN working 12 hour shifts and 3 kids lol..
Yea, same here. I've flashed so many roms and kernels on my old s3. Had no worries ever about changing the partition table sizes and am familiar with adb just haven't found the time to look into all of the s3 stuff yet. I've had the phone since launch but just rooted it for the first time a few days ago.

custom i.e not based on a samsung ROM. It's not common but more common going from custom (aosp, aokp,CM) to any TW type ROM. Just back it up anyway, even though you more than likely will never have to worry about loosing it.

3minit for a stock rom.

So the app is downloadable but it asks for framework, and m919 is not there.
Does anyone know how to get the framework on the stock rom? (I repeat stock rom, not infamous rom.)

I do believe the framework from another GS4 model would work; don't know why it would have to be model-specific.

I do believe ours is MDL... unless a new update has been pushed through T-Mobile.... though I don't think so. You could always make a backup and try to install the framework for one of the others... if it doesn't work, just restore that backup and no harm done.

As I said before, best bet would be to make a nandroid backup and try one. If it doesn't work, you can always fall back to a working backup. Well, that or use an i9505 ROM with the updates already added; but I assume WiFi calling is an issue so that would rule out the intl versions.
You can't, the dev of three minute has asked that no dev port his framework without his consent. At the moment, only infamous has the ok to use it.

Hi
I'm looking for stock-based rom that can work with the Samsung AllShare hub that streams the device to TV or actually mirrors it
I'm currently running baked ROM which is a fantastic wrong but since is rooted and a kernel is different it won't work with the device
So I'm looking for some recommendations Samsung good stock roms that work well with the old AllShare hub and are also rooted

Okay, that looks fine. I'm confused I thought you were on a custom ROM with a custom kernel. By the way what ROM is baked ROM, I don't see it in our development section? You will need a stock based ROM and stock kernel with device status showing normal out official (whatever it is it says) for all share to work.
Also, for you recommendations I'll give you the two you'll hear, you decide which one is right for you. Tweaked and Jedi, there are fans of both and both have their own advantage and disadvantages. Make a backup and try them out and decide which one is for you.
Edit the device status is normal. .. which I believe tweaked has a mod so it's always normal
