PAC MAN 20.1 [PrimoC] Wifi Broken

I can't post to the thread because I haven't posted enough on XDA to post in developer threads yet apparently. Needless to say the latest PAC MAN release, wifi is broken.
There is one person who asks "Why is wifi still broken?" but it seems to have been glanced over. I have fully wiped and installed, and Wifi is in a permanent state of starting, scanning, turning off, turning back on, scanning, turning off, turning back on, scanning, ... in an infinite loop. It did this when I upgraded from 20.0, and did it after I did a full wipe as well.
I'm trying to find a 4.2.x rom that has preferably all the hardware working (wifi, camera, and bluetooth being the most important short of the phone functionality) that doesn't suffer from the random lockscreen reboot. If someone has a suggestion on which PrimoC Rom fits that bill please let me know.

it's 4.2 and camera (3MP) works but I'm not sure about bluetooth although I doubt it cuz I haven't even found a 4.1 rom that it works with I actually prefer Provision http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2098618 though or even Pacman 19.3... be sure whatever rom you use to flash the boot.img that it says to flash and if you need a kernel that is a zip file flash that too (it will have the modules for wifi)

I thought all CDMA development was in the CDMA development forum, I didn't know PrimoC builds were in the "Original Android Development" that makes things a little more confusing.

Sorry 'bout that. Bluetooth works to an extent. Audio from calls isn't being routed correctly so you don't hear anything through a Bluetooth headset when someone calls you and visa versa.

He knows, it's not working on either version of the ROM. PrimoU or PrimoC. He's working on other things too, just be patient guys! Try v19.3 in the meantime. It's fully stable, and my daily driver. I love it!

Bluetooth works in 19.3. As for the kernel, it's the 'boot.img' thats in the zip file. It's usually in the .zip with the ROM

Same Problem...
I have the same problem... But I come from Cyanogen 10.1 and it was working fine. The thing is that it does conect to some free wifi connections like mcdonald's one but not to my home wifi... I will try to install back CM 10.1 and see what happens.

This didn't work... Wifi isn't working so I think i'm just going to ask some PACrom staff some help...:crying:

1. Please try to avoid reviving dead threads unless you truly have a reason
2. Please post problems in THAT devices forum as I imagine very few HTC One V users are aware of Sony Xperia SP development
3. Sometimes ROMs have bugs. Accept that.

You didn't describe ur problem properly.:silly: What I understand is that u r not able to use those apps which require data connection. Are u getting this error when connected to wi-fi network?
There are many users who had complained about APN issue in this ROM from v.4.5.1 upwards. CosmicCM v4.5 downwards doesn't have this issue, U can use v4.5 until k2wl finds a fix for APN issue.

Please can you help explain in plain words if there are any advantages in switching from Dalvik to ART? I don't even know the difference.

My favorite ROM was CosmicCM until this APN issue came up. Those who don't have the issue are using WIFI or using only one SIM. If you can wait for this to be fixed by the ever-dependable k2wl, temporarily switch to the 4.5 version DISABLE DUAL SIM if you can live with it. I am sure the solution will arrive soon

how to update
is there any way to update 4.7 cosmic cm to 4.7.1 without deleting or wiping up the phone as the cm11 rom always provide a delta zip to update to a new version without wipe.

Never Do that unless its mention in OP of Rom and in Cosmic if you are on cosmic before that u can flash over it new update but if you are from other ROM then Data wipe/factory reset , Dalvic cache wipe , wiping cache partition is required ...

Did you get the model number switching figured out? I'd just rather it say it was a t889 than a 7105.

No Data
I am having an issue with my Data working. I have the correct APN I also have the most recent modem for my T889. Any suggestion. ?

Battery drain
Great ROM guys!
I have one issue since installing the 01/26/2015 update. I see 50% Battery drain overnight due to cell stand by. Any suggestions?

My problem with this rom is the directory structure. All my other roms had storage/extSdCard etc. In this rom I can't do that and that is a deal breaker for me. My data base programs that I use for work everyday won't work under that structure or storage/sdcard1. Is there any way to change the structure? I really like this rom.

Second ROM I've ever flashed; amazing work. My battery actually lasts me now.
Couple of issues though:
Video streaming: trouble rewinding and fast forwarding.
Data: 2G is the only thing that's stable. 4G/3G barely work with this ROM, please fix.
Settings: Shows incorrect model, supposed to be T889.
I'll post anything else I find, thanks for this awesome ROM.

Lost Root access
For some reason after installing this ROM it seems i lost Root access on my note 2, is there any fix to this to root back the phone.

Great rom
Been using this rom on my note 2 and its good, had an issue with 02/10 release the phone app would fc when recieving an incoming call, and the previous one had very bad call quality but 02/12 is looking very good, only issue im having is bad data drops, anyone know how to fix this?

Team UB Rom for T0LTE GPS Issues 04/13/2015
Is it just me or does everyone have issues with the newly released Team UB Rom for T0LTE 5.1 r3 04/13/2015 build. I tried factory resets and clean flashes, but couldn't seem to get the GPS to work. I test the GPS using the "Phone Tester" app from the Play Store.

I have the T-Mobile Note 2. The GPS used to work until 5.0 but no longer starts after I've flashed one of the 5.1
Have tried a full factory reset + clean flash of cm-12.1-20150422-t0lte.zip , but GPS doesn't want to start at all.
Have re-flashed the modem.bin with odin, it doesn't help
in adb logcat, it's looping with these errors (so the GPS service can not start):

Same here. GPS stopped working since 5.1

just flashed the latest 5.1.1 version of this Rom to my t889v and for the first time ever it has finally worked (all the earlier versions had data connection problems). one question i have tho is does ambiant display work on this rom or is there a way to enable it, i have it turned on in settings yet it does not work. other than that everthing else works fine.

UnHappy with Team UB builds
wish I could post this to the regular board.
Every update since 3/25/15 has Not Worked.

Do you developer for Oppo N1? I have feedback. Only 1 question, i can't move apps to sd card, it says not enough space, but o have 3+ gb on sd card. Any idea?

ATM we do not have a specific dev for the n1. So we work off a feedback there. Apps --> SD should be possible (may need a 3rd party app). But if you recommend a specific github that offers it we can cherry-pick it for you.
Make sure you @MENTION me in responce. It's the only notifications that work for me on XDA.

That's the problem with partition type in Oppo. Unfortunately, there is no easy workaround. OmniROM developers were working on it, but so far we don't have unified partition. Perhaps Oppo could fix it.

oh thanks, waiting when they solve.. Very big problem to me, every day need to clear space on internal memory and delete program's. If that problem not solve - i'm downgrade to cm11

I tried the latest nightly. For some reason I am not getting any network. I get stuck at installation process where its "activating sim". Now I somehow end up getting network but only to lose it later. Is it happening with you too?

Sometime i need search network manually, but it's not critically for me, and not every day happening

Nope, i've got the exact same issue. Tried reinserting my SIM over 10 times.
Had to revert to 4.4.4 until 5.0 build has a stable network connection.

Try BlissPop's ROM until this is fixed here. Its not without its fair share of bugs and I doubt will be updated.

It starts with Chinese language but once you change the language, its pretty much same as every other ROM out there. Delete/Disable the bloat. It only takes 4-5 minutes more than flashing a normal ROM. That said, flash at your own risk

I have installed blissPOP actually, but i'm geting the same kind of issues . Not 100% of the time, but I would say about 90% of the time.
If I reboot my phone, the issue will arise again. It only seems to work correctly when I boot after I clear Dalvik, cache and android secure. I guess its an issue with my radio band?

The ROM itself works really well, but the only issue is the mobile network just not working. It tells me a have signal, but with a (!) mark by it. Normally 4/5 bars with ! on the icon. Is it possible I missed a firmware update?
Also, after installing Vanir, it changed my phone's boot logo to a newer, smoother version of the 'Oppo, powered by android' text, to the right of the OPPO logo, there are a few pixels that are red and green. it's not a major issue, just a bit of a niggle.

Toggling aeroplane mode fixes the issue, but i don't know if this works for Vanir as well.
The ROM is labelled under 'moonlight roms', and I believe is an unofficial port to the N1.

My bad. I should have mentioned its an unofficial port. Please don't bother yourself with it. Sorry for not posting it properly.
I was asking for what can I do to help you with Vanir ROM in order for it to recognize the sim.

After using Bliss and Vanir for a while, both of them are failing to get any mobile signal to be used. The icon now constantly has a ! attached to it.
I'm going to revert to kitkat until the issue is fixed, unfortunately I can't go on without a signal.

Bluetooth Stuttering
I've been having some issues with music audio (not phone audio, as far as I've been able to tell) being streamed over bluetooth to my headset. I've tried poking around in config files but I couldn't find anything that looked particularly obvious to tweak in order to allow smoother music playback.
Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Did you read the ROM thread? It says you need to go into cell settings and select GSM/WCMA/LTE and reboot.

I dont know where will i find theese options
I've looked at cell settings but there is nothing like that

Now i have signal thank you so much

So many of these threads are obsolete if people would learn to read the rom thread properly !

I personally haven't used the A9 port yet. But the setting is usually under: Settings>Mobile data>Network mode

Very true. Reading the top post, as well as (at a minimum) the most recent few pages of the ROM thread should be considered mandatory before flashing any ROM, and also when encountering an issue (and before posting a thread for a question that has already been answered).
