Not sure if you guys know this or not but Dual Booting is working for our phones. Keep in mind you do have do be Loki but I have TW and Liquid Smooth dual booting rather lovely.

No need for loki on our S4. I've been using Patcher just fine without that for several weeks. Using Wicked V7 as primary, and patched Slim Bean 4.3 as secondary.
Are there any instructions on how to do this
Sent from my SGH-M919 using xda app-developers app
Follow the link and read instructions. Look at the list of compatible roms and choose one for your secondary. Use a debloated tw rom as primary, any will work. Make sure to install the switcher app from the downloads.
Any advice on the patcher? It keeps failing to extract the boot image of the supported rom. I extracted gapps just fine.

Yeah, actually any ROM will work.
Thing is, it's recommended that if you are dual booting with a TouchWiz ROM, use the TouchWiz as the primary.
I'm currently dual booting a modified version of the stock 4.2.2 TW T-Mobile ROM and crDroid AOSP.
O.k. so basically dual booting is where you can boot 2 roms at 2 different times?could someone please explain how it works and how to do it. Thanks in advance. ..

You got the concept of dual booting correct, as for how to do it; follow the link in the OP.
TC thanks for this topic, I had no idea patcher existed

Great, quick question. Did you flash the modem too or just the kernel?
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I317 using xda app-developers app
Just the kernel
Anyone tried perseus kernel with this rom?
Sent from my SGH-I317M using xda premium
I installed it and found nothing special about it.
So I can just flash this without flashing modem or kernel?

You can, but it'd be easier to just flash the kernel after.

bro, I know my limits, lol. just want to make sure that I don't brick my phone. hopefully my questions and the respective answers/responses from more experienced users will benefit all.
Works fine as is with no kernel swap. Full wipe.

I've recently noticed some rom(i think jedi) allows you to add any app to multiwindow. However, is there any way to do that without flashing a rom and just being rooted? Some sort of apk? I really hope someone takes on that challenge and creates something for us stock but rooted users
If it is possible, please let me know!!
So far the closest you can get to that is by flashing teshxx's stock deodexed ROM and then flashing cmenard's mod. So no, right now there's nothing if you don't want to flash another ROM

flash the at and t specific cleanrom at scottsrom.com or flash the all carrier edition 4.7. Either one will work for you
You can be stock rooted and use custom recovery and then flash a debloater zip without even switching roms you can find the zip here in xda for the note 2

I am trying to get clarification on running the Google Edition ROM on a T-Mobile S4 (jfltetmo/SGH-M919). I see a few threads with GE ROMs but they have been rooted/deodexed/and generally tweaked in various ways.
Is there a pure, unmodified (or minimally modified) version of the GE ROM that works on the T-Mobile S4? I am looking for something that is as clean/pure as possible.
Is there a 4.3 version of this ROM available?
Thanks!

Hi,
I'm using the Virgin ROM V2.3.1 on my TMobile GS4 for few weeks, it's been good so far, it is JB 4.3.
Below is the thread link. There are other ROMs available but haven't tried them yet.

You can reboot in recovery and then restore. I would do a search online/in this forum to find out the extact steps for restore for the custom recovery you are using.

With Android 4.3, we were able to install a patch and compulsion kernel to get SM-N9005 TouchWiz custom ROMs running fully.
Well, with Android 4.4.2 KitKat, the patch does not work but I tweaked it a bit to make it work.
I tested this on BobCat ROM but should work with all TouchWiz Android 4.4.2 KitKat roms.
Step 1. Install SM-N9005 custom ROM and boot.
Step 2. Install patch and Compulsion kernel:
patch:
http://downloadandroidrom.com/file/GalaxyNote3/fix/WifiFixN900TV2.zip
download latest KitKat Compulsion kernel here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2480353
Should also work with Saber kernel:

Yes, that actually works out of the box, you don't need to do anything. Just install Tmo rom on n9005 should work fine.

the only kernel you can use with an international rom would be compulsion ultimate. Thas why you get bootloops. as far as nfc it should work fine.

Yeah I used compulsion 12 and it never got passed the boot screen. I tried the stock t-mobile ne6 kernel and it booted up but nfc didn't work. So I flashed the kk nfc fix and it worked but WiFi kept disconnecting.
