Is there anyway? or no?
Not like GSM phones with a SIM card, but you can flash it to prepaid carriers such as Boost, Virgin Mobile, Page Plus, Ting, and others. There are guides in the General section on how to do this.

Which carrier are you interested in going with? Straight Talk now has a program called 'Bring Your Own Phone' and they let you bring certain devices from other networks over to their network with no hassle. I was searching for ways to flash my old Sprint Epic 4G Touch to Straight Talk last night, and then discovered that all you have to do is call them, pay a network access fee ($15) and they'll activate it on their network.
Don't quote me on this, but I think the $15 is for an "activation" and it is $50 to flash over. That is how it was for cricket at least, but I flashed it by myself for the person I sold the phone to. Honestly not near as hard as I thought it would be,

I wonder how they'll reconcile their 3G/4G frequencies ?
...and who'll get what line of phones?
AT&T should have had the DVP and HD7.
News story here...
There is a thread about this in the HD7 subforum as well...
I didn't see this one coming. Did you see the proposed LTE build out maps?! Talk about awesome! AT&T will smoke everything out there if they're true to their word. Hopefully even more phones to choose from and much better coverage.
Downside is that there won't be a cheap cell phone company anymore. T-Mobile's plans were much cheaper plus unlimited data. I doubt AT&T would keep those. If this gets FCC approval, I'm wondering if I shouldn't jump ship to T-Mobile later this year and lock in some cheaper plans. Hopefully, they'll grandfather people in.
Oh, and someone posted on Engadget that the new company should be AT&T&T.
How do you like this rendition of a new logo? Something I whipped up:

Sprint doesnt use sim cards i think is what he meant.. sprint stoped years ago. And if iphone 5 uses sim card, just shows apples a cheap f thats to lazy to make a sprint version

Ya that's the Jist of it. Figures its iCrap related. Of course the iphone can have a sim on sprints network, While everyone else cant
Sims are way more secure also.. but also makes phone companys lose money.. dont have to activate when you take your sim out of a 10 year old phone and put it in a new phone
I have been looking for a galaxy s3 to replace my e4gt flashed to page plus.... And i talked to a guy in class today wanting to sell his. Idk how muxh but i was looking. No sim card slot? So does that mean s3 4g is wimax like e4gt or is it lte and maybe sim is locked inside phone needing disassembly to get out?

The US Sprint GS3 SIM card is not removable its on the inside of the phone if I remember correctly. And is/will never be capable of receiving WiMax 4G just LTE.

Hello. I'm looking to switch over to AT&T from Ting for various reasons. One reason is because Ting's data doesn't work in certain areas around where I live and I'm looking to start a new with a new carrier with better overall service and a much wider service area. I’m bringing my unlocked LG G3 over to AT&T. I just selected the SIM Card I will need and I am now on the page that shows all of the plans. I selected the 2 GB Plan for $30.00 a month. Under that it has the AT&T SIM Card - LG G Series. And next to that it says $25.00/mo. access charge. Is this a one-time fee or a monthly fee? This is the part that I don't really understand. The total price per month is $55 but is this a one-time thing?...

Good morning guys. I am no professional when it comes to phone bands, network, etc. So I would like to ask for some help. I recently purchased a Chinese version of the one plus 3 and will use it in the USA under T-Mobile. Seller said in his item description that it will work in t-mobile, AT&T just fine however I did my research and found mix answers some say it does some say they don't.

Yea but I also asked seller and and he said this "In the America,4G LTE(FDD) Network Only Support T-Mobile and AT&T,Not Support Verizon and Sprint" btw I received the phone today but am afraid to open it and find out it doesn't work. Hard to talk to these eBay sellers sometimes. I just want the assurance
T-Mobile
AT&T
Aw so it means it not. That sucks seller telling me it does work. I'll have to return it and look for a USA version of the phone
