In the t mobile forum there are modded kb w numbers that work on ours... using one right now. It's the theme and apps sub.

Dont install yet... force closes on me. Flashed the zip clear cache and fixing permission did not help. I did this prior the flash

Yes they work on the Note 2. Any 4.0+ xhdpi device. What color key board did you try? Did you have Google keyboard installed previous to installing the themed ones?

Finally, I can use the Google keyboard,Stock was to me far too ugly.
With the large selection difficult decision,the Keyboards are all beautiful
I opted for the ShaftaBlue
ShaftaIvory I like best, along with Hangouts a little too bright, I think I'll take it anyway ...
Based the "Android Keyboards" on 2.0.19133.927933a the 4.0 do it
