1. how can I set to boot up to use certain panel? I need to change everytime when boot up, it's quite troublesome
2. is there way to set so that I can edit the number (either from contacts or history) before I make the call?

1. Xperia Tweak... that's as far as I'll help you on this.
2. Why would you want to open a contact and then edit the number and then call that contact?
*Just add that number to your contact list......
I have installed S8530XXJK2(S8530CISJK3) firmware on my wave S8530, firmware is good, runing smoothly, i can play paid app from menu sucessfully
but the problem is with false names in settings
the settings menu is really ****ed up...some of the options have changed texts .. like Voice Calls is now APN Calls .. Open source license document is now Items, and when i want to check battery status.... it's showing Reset all?% instead of battery status in %..
So to be clear, my question is Can I during flasing process upload CSC file from another europe firmware for example S8530XXJKA or S8530XXJL1, beacuse i think this false name in menu causing ****ing CSC file...

I have a GT-i9192 phone and I have installed k2wl's latest rom (20141021 version) and it is my first CM ROM that I am using.
First - thanks guys for a full working ROM! It is working very good. I am supprised!
I have found some problems and I don't know where to address them. Are the correlated just to my phone, are thy CM issues or the GT-i9192 port?
1. When I change the notifications menu:
a) I pull down the screen from the top right corner
b) Then I click on the (+) sign - I would like to add/remove the icons
c) After adding a new icon or changing the order I reveive a information that "com.android.systemui" has been stopped and app is restarted
2. Calling from address book
I cannot call a person after clicking on the mail allow to write a mail, clicking on the msg icon allows to write a SMS, but there is no way I can make a phone call.
3. Bluetooth connections
I have paired mu bluetooth to the car audio. I would like to leave the bluetooth on all the time so when I enter my car the car audio system would automatie cally connect with the phone. I worked in the stock ROM but not with the CM11.
4. SIM card names
Very often the name of the network card is lost. So when I can choose the SIM card I would like to use for the call I have two options "-1" is the first name and "OPERATOR-2" is the second one. Is there a way to enter the SIM card name manually?
I don't know if my problems are just related to my phone? Maybe some administrative actions (like cache cleaning) would solve them?

1- try to full wipe and reinstall
2- known bug, in the list press the contact photo a little window appear press the phone in that screen.
3- can't tested I don't use bluetooth but I think is a bug that developers can't test either.
4- I think you can change via terminal emulator script but on reconnection charges are lost.

I instaled the latest build (oct 27) and the battery icon are aways full, it wont show the propper ammount of battery i have left.
At latest build Oct28, I found an issue that sim can't be called in when its data connection disabled and other enabled.
My issue is caused by reverse lookup at phone setting, after turned off,fixed.

Are you complaining about the fact that sim2 is not reachable when sim 1 data in on and in 3G?

Hi, i dont know if anyone noticed yet, but when i recive a call, if i want to mute the ring usualy we press volume up or down it would mute the ringin but the call would not end. Now i press volume up, down, power button, nothing happends.

If one sim set to 3G, the one without data isn't reachable. But if both sim set to 2g, this issue disappear

I am facing the same issue on this ROM and also on the stock ROM from Samsung.
I assume the bug is coming from upstream sources.
is it possible to file a bug for this issue upstream?
Does anybody know how to it and where to do it?

I think this is unexpected:
Sometimes when i answer a call it switch automactly to vibration mode, lowering the volume of the ringer. And no, i am not accidently pressing the volume button.

My stock Rom hasn't this issue. When phone answer call at sim without data, system would turn off data of another sim

Hello, this is my first time posting here. I was having some trouble with the touch screen not being responsive enough, sometimes missing my taps. So I installed this mod: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2347009&page=3
Not only did it not appear to change anything, after rebooting I found that my menu and back button no longer vibrate like they should (yes vibration is on in settings) and my q-button no longer does anything. And my home key does not turn the screen on now either. This has to be a simple key configuration change but someone please help me fix this issue Oh also I have the at&t version of the phone if that makes a difference.
Edit: I have found more information about this problem. One being that the mod I spoke of only changes the usr folder of the system folder which contains the key mappings gk-keypad-8064.kl file. I tested and trying to change the QuickButton command in the settings no longer affects this key mappings file as I believe it should. So somehow it either can't find the file (even though it's there) or thinks that the file is corrupt. So is there anyone who has the stock gk-keypad-8064.kl file I can use? Or maybe there should be different permission settings other that rw r r? Please let me know as I think this is the main problem here.

How about you try to flash back to the stock rom using the lg flash tool?
I fixed it with a work around. I used exposed additions to force haptic feedback and also to map the q button key. Hopefully if anyone else has this problem it will help them.
Is it possible to re-assign 'Search' button so that it opens other apps? (I don't use Search)
Found registry keys at 'HKLM/System/Touch/Buttons'. There were 'Name' & 'Vkey' value.
Tried changing the values of 'Search' button to match 'Back' button, but it made no difference. Anybody knows whether there are any other registry keys for this function?

In wehlockdown.xml file I have remaped the press and long press of the button but I loose the possibility to view my app list.
Of course I can open the apps through store...
I try to use the XML file to remap only the search without changing anything else.
I wait for heathcliff to unlock my 950 so in storage mode to see what changes are made when the search key is mapped...
I have spent a lot of time with XML files.

I guess mass storage mode needs to be unlocked to edit 'xml' files? (Then I Need to wait for wpinternals 2.5 to support latest FCU)

Yeah I got that app from the above link posted by @NIKOSXRI, connected my phone to the app and also saved the file to local directory. But there wasn't any option to deploy it to the phone.
Its easier to directly edit the xml file in Phone and remove few lines from it.

You can also import existing xml.

You can create a prov package with windows configuration designer and put the xml file in embeded lockdown profiles place.Then you install the package putting it in the phone from usb file explorer.
I will attach my package and my xml file for you to test.
The search button when pressed opens the settings page and with long press opens one-note.
BUT the app list doesnt show though the apps exist and open from store app with the launch button.
ALSO the live tiles have some problems...
After installing the package I show some registry entries that must be changed for a better result but i have not an unlocked phone...

Inside last key there are settings that need to be changed...I believe that the app list will appear if we change the menulockdown from 0 to 1 and also the enabletile manipulation from 0 to 1...

When you remove it the things that are screwed remain and you must hard reset.
So you better dont do it in your primary device
Ohhh. It is my primary device. Then I will wait for WPI 2.5 so that I can make a complete backup of my phone and then try this. [Already done lots of registry edits, don't wanna do that all again ]
And about that app list missing thing, I selected all apps and settings in Lockdown Designer and exported the file along with Nav buttons changes(My XML file had all apps/settings entries).
