first i installed pacman rom for galaxy note 2 gt n 7100 and once it boots up this error appears onces every second, which is extremely irritating.....and now i installed probam and same error even on this rom as well.......both are 4.3 roms and its freaking me out i have been searching for some solution from longest time and many have the same problem but no particular solution. please if anyone knows how to get rid of it please let me know.....regards

I was getting this recently after downgrading from Androwook and installing PAC rom and gapps, was also getting it with some apps: "Unfortunately, Calendar has stopped. Blame Tyler."
I reinstalled PAC rom and gapps after wiping cache/dav/system fully and I'm not getting system ui ones any more but still getting it on Calendar.
I've heard suggestion that it's a corrupted gapps causing it but then im not sure I the system ui ones would be related and i md5 checked the files on the SD.
Anyone with more experience who can shed light on this?

I've purchased a a Samsung Galaxy 551 (I5510) (Middle east region) about a year ago and i was running android 2.2 fine for a while. When the Gingerbread 2.3 update came out i tried installing a European ROM because the ME ROMs weren't updated, it worked fine but had a weird glitch that if the screen was off (phone still working) for a while it would be very dark when turned on afterwards, it looked like this video:

it would randomly work again after a couple of lock-screen off-unlock cycles, then happen again randomly when it's off
I tried a number of GB ROMs (mostly 2.3.4) but to no avail, then finally the latest EU ROMs (I5510XWKPJ) fixed the problem, nowhere to be seen anymore.
After that i tried installing Cyanogen mod for the phone and the problem came back with different degrees:
1. Cyanogen 7 - normal boot, screen gets dark after being off for a while.
2. Cyanogen 9,10 - show Samsung logo at start, screen gets dark as soon as the cyanogen logo appears and continues to be
Any help on what would be causing that especially on the newer CM builds? and why it doesn't happen at all in (I5510XWKPJ)

use stock gb rom XEO-KPG from here...u find no bug in it....install as one pakage through odin...

I will give it a try, though i have to clarify and say that on the current stock rom that i'm using (I5510XWKPJ) the problem doesn't happen. It only happens after i flash Cyanogenmod (any version) and persists till i reflash the Stock rom then it disappears again.
EDIT: Forgot to add that this isn't a CM specific bug as it happened also when i tried other roms too (Arkas, Miui,...)
You cannot say that this is a bug bcaz no other mamber of galaxy 551 and even me also not have this kind of problem....
So I think its problem of ur phone...

No change after installing (XEO-KPG) stock rom, the rom itself works fine with no problems, same as the (XWKPJ) I've been using. but as soon as i install CM the bug rears it's ugly head.

The reason i think it's a bug because it happens across lots of custom roms (which rules a rom being the cause) and it never happens when using the 2.3.6 stock roms. And on the custom roms it only happens after the screen has been off for a while, if i set the screen to never turn off for instance it never happens, but that butchers battery life.
IMO it might be a display driver issue, but since i have no experience with it i came here to get some help

I have a very big problem, and its been like this for a while (also with new stable CM 10.1) It seems to happen on anything thats not stock rom.
I don't have this problem with stock rom but with that i have a issue with the auto brightness so it uses alot of battery, so thats not really a good idea to go back.
But where once in a while (like 1-2 times pr. day) it just crashes for no reason.. Like before I was sending an SMS and crash.. Text says: Demigod crash handler and somthing with external modem..
I have tried searching forum, google etc. can't find someone with the same external modem error.
So I really need your help! I'm quite desprate here.

I tried 3 kernels same result. Even with stable cm with no tweaks or anything it keep happening..
Lately I get a new "BSOD" where it displays all my google/browser bookmarks..

I am having the same error message even though my phone is stock. Only happens occasionally, happened today when i was using google maps. It is starting to get annoying....

Hi, everyone I am new here. Playing around with my Note 2 i317m Telus, flashing couple of roms and end up with Jedi series. Currently, running the Jedi-X19, it work perfectly and I just tried the newest Jedi-X20 , everything working great except viber, it can not start, when i choose it, it just open and stop, this never happened before. I tried to flash the rom again but the problem is still there. Need help. Thanks all.
Good I am not the only 1 with this issue. I am having the same issue with viber.. It keeps crazing when I try to open the app. I moved to beanstalk 4.3.1 for now..

However, when trying to update in any fashion (thru the build in dev app, download and flash, or otherwise) I keep getting an error in recovery that the rom is for "d2att" and I am a "d2vzw". Does anyone know how I can correct this, or make my phone appear as a d2att? I know the rom works, as it is successfully installed and working with no issues at all. Except this one.
Any help is greatly appreciated!

I have a T999 Tmo version. I can't get it to install at all, simply states the same as yours, it is for d2att. After reading indepth on the dev forum for this rom, I can't find anything or anyone that states a fix to this - they are devs or brains on this matter and appear to just figure it out. I'm not a noob but still I don't create roms either. I also would have posted in there but well, as you see my status isn't at that level.
Sad no one has responded to your post yet since it is what I was looking hours for today and finally found your post, but no answers yet.
HOW do we install the Quantam 4.4 v3.12 rom onto a tomobile phone and in the case above a verizon phone. both s3's. I know some are doing it - as I have read it - but can't figure this out.

HI, i think im in really deep Sh*t. Today i successfully rooted my galaxy tab 3 10.1 and after that i tried to flash a stock rom 4.2.2
(i tried this one http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2625805 both stock and rooted still in bootloop)
not a very experienced android user, but i had no trouble before with custom roms on phones, now with the tab im in very tough position, so i hope you guys can help me or my wife will kill me or worse divorce me :crying:
I wanted to try this because the tab was on auto update and with the 4.4.2 update made things very messy, apps werent working like facebook chat viber and other. Please if you have any tips fire away...
