Hi,
I like Dutty 2.0 OS. It has a nice explorer installed. Can someone extract it out and post it here for me? I try reading the Wiki, but it's just to technical for me .
Thanks in advance...

Better ask dutty if you can put here his explorer version...
But, in anyway, you can copy the .exe from the ROM and execute in any ROM (this is the second stage in any ROM upgrade i make, cause love Dutty explorer, and allows me don't install Resco one )
don't need to extract anything, try this one it is exactly the same as dutty's explorer:
darkgemini/jcespi2005
Thanks for the quick responses! i will try dargenini file.

Just wondering how you did it. I tried it with RomKoch but during building the filelist the Koch encountered a "divide by zero" error.

GSFinder or the one I have GSFinder+ are both self-contained *.exe files. You do not need the ROMKoch. If you had it before you could simple copy the *.exe file your computer. Change ROM and copy\paste.
Or you could simply go to a number of free PPC app websites, where they have the cab\exe available to install.

Sorry, but I was not talking about **** the dutty's (or GSFinder) explorer in one ROM, i was not so complicated
I was talking about take the .exe file, copy to SD, and execute in every ROM you try...sametimes i used to be so simple
Regards.
So I was mistaken, I thought you extracted it from Duttys Rom with Koch. Copying it while running the Rom.....
Sigh
Sorry for my stupid question, based on my taborious way of thinking...
@agovinoveritas:
I meant Duttys File Explorer not GSFinder, which is also a great app.

You need to have java installed (Jbed or Esmertec) then the jad file will open, and install opera mini. Do that, then goto www.operamini.com in pocket IE.
thank you for the help
quick question, is Jbed free software, or do i pay for it? the reason i ask is because on my brothers wing, i rom that he download cam pre installed with opera mini, and im having a bit of trouble finding a link to download, i get things like single user liscence and what not, which i may be wrong but i dont belieave is right
Here you go. Install this, and then double click on the .jad file. It will install. Then to run opera, just click on the java icon in programs and choose "opera"
This worked for me!

I run it with esmertec jbed and have tweaked it to open with one click without the confirmation messages. Operamini rox....but the new NetFront is even more powerful!
FYI. Checkout this excellent thread regarding Opera Mini. If you use Mort Script, you can make Opera Mini function like the default browser, i.e. open links from emails, etc. I posed my own script (based on Menneisyys's - Thanks!), which works great on my Hermes running WM6.0 and jmm.exe (TAO).

I've never heard of NetFront. Is it freeware?
http://mini.opera.com/global/opera-mini-4.0.10222-advanced-int.jad
http://mini.opera.com/global/opera-mini-4.0.10222-advanced-int.jar
Mini Opera 4.0.10222 English International version.
Download both files to your PC, transfer to your Pocket PC, place in one folder, then tap on the JAD file. That's it.
Here you can download various languages.

I also have Esmertec Jbed. Could you please tell us how you manage to tweak it? It really bugs when it asks for connectivity permission.
Thanks in advance.

you can run the jar file if you install a decent java stack, search the threads for JAVA.

ok everything works with that now i cannot stream from youtube, no error or anything just it does nothing with the link when pressed
Has anyone got a copy of the cab for this as its offline over at modaco and I can't find it anywhere else.
Here you go

hi,just curios...what does this little program do?
thanks
Its a program that keeps track of new version of some applications.
Not all !
So when you install this little program and run it it goes searching out if you have the newest version of the install application.
And if you havent it will download it for you and than you can install it
easypeasy
Was this program abandoned? Does it work fine? It seems forgotten...

Gcz geocaching didnt seem to get updated, don't know if it's because it's changed to gcz ii.
I extracted the WinMo device emulators out of the accidentially published 6.5.x SDK (which has meanwhile been removed by MS). So if you want to give your apps a testride on them, here they are.
The zip (330 MB) contains 2 folders, copy them as follows, assuming you already have WM6 SDK installed.
DeviceemulationV65x ==> C:\Program Files\Windows Mobile 6 SDK\PocketPC
My Device Emulators ==> C:\My Documents\
You may need to modify the *.decfg files to your needs, please check the OSImage and Skin paths in each file to fit your configuration.
Windows Mobile 6.5.3 DTK has now been officially released by MS.
download DTK from Microsoft
Thanks!
