sorry for english (sabe. .. Google translator).

We can't port (at least for the moment ) MIUI V4 because it's based on 4.0.3 ice cream sandwich android. And we don't have a ICS software update on our Y, we need Ics libs first.

devs are working on it ... be patient i guess... untill then choose some of the roms on index thread ...
Aint no good for ICS
As of it android 4.0 a.k.a Ice cream Sandwich has got hardware requirements more than our cute lil WFS got........hence we shouldnt be xpecting an official release.....and as said devs are working on CM9 which is based on android 4.0 and others too are trying to port also.......keeping my fingers crossed......

Why ???

Why all developer not made android 2.3.7 for galaxy ?
We all dont know
because there's no such thing called 2.3.7 for custom rom. the number version (2.3.x) is decided by the factory (samsung), not the dev.
And why dont ask in faq thread????
Ronnie work hard for that thread..
there is no such thing like 2.3.7
and why are u thinking still of gingerbread
ics coming........
think great

I'm rather baffled that you can't seem to find it in a cursory search, given how desperately and dramatically you seem to want it. There's a thread for it in the dev forums clearly labeled [ROM][MIUI][10/19/2012] MIUI 2.10.19_v4.0 ICS 4.0.4.

No problem dear, one sarcastic dose a day is good for health
And thanks for the links, but actually I am already on this kind of ics rom. Its sense miui mixed. I wanted pure miui.us ics rom, which in my experience has more stable. Though am not sure whether "bliind" managed to complete ics rom of miui or not, or he directly jumped to jellybean.....

[Q] Base Jelly Bean ROM?

Hi!
I'am trying to port a Jelly Bean ROM from the Ace section using this guide: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1598713
Unfortunately, you need an ROM as base (Jelly Bean ROM) that's made for your device, and in this case it is the Galaxy Gio GT-S5660.
My question is very basic, were can I find a clean Jelly Bean ROM without any issues (CM10 beta2 doesn't have working camera) that I can use for porting?
Thanks!
There isnt.
You do better get some more knowwledge before porting, otherwise you wouldnt ask this question and you might end up with a bricked gio.

I believe that is the kernel from stock Samsung. The short answer is NO.

The long answer will be NO too This is the stock kernel from Samsungs ROMs. Samsung ROMs are basing on the older Gingerbread. CM9 is basing on Ice Cream Sandwitch and cm10 is basing on Jeally Beans. So completely different ROMs with completely different requirements to the kernel.
