i got a samsung galaxy note 2 (GT N7100) from my friend. after powered on i found that it is showing Phone:unknown, Band: unknown and HW:not active. i am attaching 2 screen shot. can anyone help me please.

thanks vinny. some stupid tried to upgrade and did the mess. this set lost the baseband version and imei number. i checked the post but i dont have the efs backup. so cant repair baseband version problem. can you suggest anything else?

Is it yourphone ir your friends? If it yours friend than return him asap since its now a expensive media player!
I read a post of a guy who had similar problem(no efs backup) and he had to sell his phone as a spare parts!
But u still hv some chances of recovering imei(i read somewhere) even if u dont have efs backup

I have the same problem but the phone does not read usb, and the problem of the phone How can I solve them and tried and did not succeed in large Mhalolat

Su 880 rooting no success, please help
Hi, i have this phone too a LG SU880. i can't seem to root this phone. because it has no bootloader screen or download screen. and any of the trick using any key combination is useless. any one can provide a detailed tutorial with rooting this kind of phone. i already have the complete drivers and it is responding well with other root tool that i have, it's just that whenever the rooting process is finished, it still not rooted. and i've already tried using LG PC SUITE from one to the fourth version. still no luck. i even tried apk rooter softwares but still no luck. i've been rooting other phones like samsung galaxy 1 and sky pantech vega racer any variant but i am having a very hard time cracking this phone. anyone please help. first of, i know this is not the right thread to post but im kinda desperate now.
i purchase a phone which is optimus ex su880 (nearest family is su660)
i tried updating using the LG updater but unfortunately i bricked my phone.
right now, i can no longer boot to S/w / normal mode and my only solution is to flash it via NVflash.
but my problem is, because of the lack of support for this phone. i cant find any image or .bat file to re install the ICS rom back.
now, my question is if we can create a .bat file/image from a Stock KDZ rom?
i can boot to APX but i have no firmware to flash.
your exeperties is highly appreciated.
i already spent 3 days looking for an answer but to no avail...hope you can enlighten me.

First : I wanted to try anything because without S / N phone does'nt work!
Second: there is a great suspicion that a phone "not for sale" in a particular person, so I wanted to pose a risk to flash something that is certainly robbed!
Can you? Maybe.
Should you? Not really.
If the device is marked as "not for sale" its possibly a store demonstrator (for people to try in-store) with no valid IMEI, so that it can't work as a cellphone if its stolen.
It could also be an engineering/production/testing sample with non-standard hardware or software.
Another issue is that you would have to clone an IMEI to get the phone working, which is illegal in most countries.
In conclusion, these devices are dubious at best and leave way too many questions unanswered.
My Note II no longer has an IMEI or a phone number and no connection to mobile network.
How do I restore the Numbers?
Do I use Odin?

good day. After flashig my optimus g in kitkat, i found my phone is ok on 3g network. But facing problem while i am out of 3g. Sometimes network is full but shows out of service while dialing. My phone is f180k.

NO, It doesnt show any IMEI no. without SIM card...It shows '0'
