It doesn't work like that. Use the stock images or a custom rom.

Hoi en welkom ;-)
I guess you just have to be patient. The update is rolled out in batches. Not all at once. Or you can flash it yourself. There are a lot of threads here on how to do that.

I hope you are being sarcastic.
All the files come directly from Google, not hosted by someone else.
Full images here: http://code.google.com/android/nexus/images.html
Updates here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=20843237&postcount=1
So unless Google or you do something to them, no one else surely would have.
And besides, the 4.0.4 update is not available yet for yakjuxw (the OP's build), only the full image.

GAPPS - Google Now Add-On
Whoever needs it, tested on MIUI JB for Galaxy Nexus.
http://www.mediafire.com/?onysubq58y9fqnx
Edit: Normal GAPPS put many APK which are not required in MIUI and will create duplicates like Google Calendar, Google Music and Gallery. This is clean and has only Google Now framework and Talk.

Hands on with Android 4.3 on Samsung Galaxy S4,
Watch it here: http://bit.ly/156yuni
You can also get this too if you have a Custom recover and are rooted!
Flashed Stock Google Edition Rom first, Then Flashed the Leaked Android 4.3 Rom over it.
Original Leaked Rom comes from Sam Mobile : http://bit.ly/Android43

In theory, you can flash a custom recovery via Odin and you're good.
Sent from Spaceball One.
So to answer the question yes you can flash this with out root, just flash a custom recovery though odin then factory reset and flash the stock rom. As always read up on how to do this, make a back up and have fun flashing. Right?

I mean you could just redownload all the apps you had , just go to downloaded app on the play store and they show up there, some of them not all of them though.

I heard this as well and read it elsewhere, so WatchON works.
What I'm curious then is it also possible for the AllShare Cast dongle to work w/ this if it does in fact have parts of the TW framework.
That would be a huge win over for me to move over from the TouchWiz ROM's

Go into the "PlayStore" App, hit the options button and go to "My Apps" There they list "Installed" and "All".
Now when I flashed Android 4.3 I went into the Playstore and went To my Apps and then All, there it listed some of the apps I had when i was Running Touchwiz. Ex: Watch-On, Group Play, Samsung Link, and some of the T-Mobile Apps.
Watch on Works. I didn't test any of the other apps because I don't use them.

It looks like the Lockscreen has been updated to look more like what Samsung did with the S5's lockscreen style a little bit, I would have liked to have seen more design like the new Touchwiz featured on the S5. Is that memory screenshot of before or after a memory clear? Before a memory clean I average about 1.36gb of usage, after memory clean I get it down to 700mb.
Works on our phones too

If you do make sure you only flash the system image! Do not flash the bootloader, modem, or recovery images! You will brick your phone!
How did you even do that? I read in a thread that said you need the new bootloader or kitkat touchwiz won't load..

The Kitkat build on the Sprint S3 boots with the system and boot images on the 4.3 bootloader and modem. The wifi doesn't work however, but everything else does.
Just download the tar file for 4.4, and extract the system image and the boot image. That's the core and the kernel right there.

Alright, thanks. I might do it. I gotta free some space for that .tar file but even then the no WiFi is only a deal breaker because this LTE is a battery sucker lol but thanks man! But once I extract the system.IMG and boot.img then what?
Edit: I see it above. Thanks man.
