Hi!
Here is my problem.
I rooted my HOX about year ago. Currently I have Android Revolution HD 9.8 on it (android 4.0.4). Now I want get back to stock ROM (and of course stock updates - android 4.2.2.).
If I'm right, first I must lock the phone, then I flash stock recovery, and then I run properly RUU (because I don't have nandroid backup of stock ROM - before rooting and flashing custom rom).
Q: Which RUU I can use for my phone? Where can I get it?
Here is my HOX data:
Code:
(bootloader) version: 0.5a
(bootloader) version-bootloader: 1.12.0000
(bootloader) version-baseband: 2.1204.135.20
(bootloader) version-cpld: None
(bootloader) version-microp: None
(bootloader) version-main: 2.17.401.2
(bootloader) serialno: XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
(bootloader) imei: XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
(bootloader) product: endeavoru
(bootloader) platform: HBOOT-T30S
(bootloader) modelid: PJ4610000
(bootloader) cidnum: HTC__032
(bootloader) battery-status: good
(bootloader) battery-voltage: 4015mV
(bootloader) devpower: 85
(bootloader) partition-layout: None
(bootloader) security: on
(bootloader) build-mode: SHIP
(bootloader) boot-mode: FASTBOOT
(bootloader) commitno-bootloader: None
(bootloader) hbootpreupdate: 2
(bootloader) gencheckpt: 0
all: Done!
finished. total time: 0.822s
RUU depends on what? Only on CID? Or (and) HBOOT? Or (and) RADIO?

get the one matching your main version>>>>>http://www.androidruu.com/?developer=Endeavor
So this is good?
RUU_ENDEAVOR_U_ICS_40_S_HTC_Europe_2.17.401.2_Radio_2.1204.135.20_release_274900_signed.exe
It's only have 84.2 MB... Isn't this too small for RUU? (because other RUU have more than 500-600 MB)

Hello,
I know there's a lot of threads talking about this but I can't find the good one !
I want to upgrade Hboot from 1.36 to 1.79 but really doesn't know what more to do.
Here's my config
C:\android>fastboot getvar all
(bootloader) version: 0.5a
(bootloader) version-bootloader: 1.36.0000
(bootloader) version-baseband: 5.1204.164D.30
(bootloader) version-cpld: None
(bootloader) version-microp: None
(bootloader) version-main: 1.29.163.13
(bootloader) serialno: SH25TW103069
(bootloader) imei: 353426055130587
(bootloader) product: endeavoru
(bootloader) platform: HBOOT-T30S
(bootloader) modelid: PJ4610000
(bootloader) cidnum: VODAP203
(bootloader) battery-status: good
(bootloader) battery-voltage: 3965mV
(bootloader) devpower: 76
(bootloader) partition-layout: None
(bootloader) security: on
(bootloader) build-mode: SHIP
(bootloader) boot-mode: FASTBOOT
(bootloader) commitno-bootloader: None
(bootloader) hbootpreupdate: 2
(bootloader) gencheckpt: 0
all: Done!
finished. total time: 0.814s
So
Hboot 1.36
Version 1.29.163.13
and CID VODAP203.
S-On
Tried to flash firmware.zip (error cid)
tried to flash RUU_ENDEAVOR_U_JB_45_S_HTC_Europe_3.14.401.31_R_Radio_5.1204.162.29_release_302015_signed(1).exe (error version)
Gonna try now to DL and flash
RUU_ENDEAVOR_U_ICS_40_HTC_Europe_1.26.401.2_Radio_1.1204.90.13_release_251208_signed.exe
or
RUU_ENDEAVOR_U_ICS_40_HTC_Europe_1.29.401.12_Radio_2.1204.127.19_release_271851_signed.exe
I did not find RUU for vodap203, I just want to update my hboot, that's all, then return on custom ROM.
Have you faced the same problem and succeeded to solve?
Thanks in advance for you help,
Franky
I saw on other thread here that if I can't find a solution, it's because there is no solution at the moment (firmware does not exist for my CID).
So maybe a moderator can close this thread.
Anyway thanks
Franky
I found the files.

Why are you using a 3.28 if you're still on 2.xx
Restore the correct ROM then you won't have Radio Firmware issues.
I think you need to have stock recovery img to revert to stock ROM as stated in this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2744194
how do you know?

But how can you tell he's on version 2.xx - sorry for my ignorance of this - I'm in a similar boat, and it's not clear to me how to work out what's the correct stock rom to use?
Cheers, Jon

Hboot version 3.16 was for 1.12.xxx.x and 1.54.xxx.x, hboot 3.18 was for android 4.4.3 i.e version 2.22.xxx.x and hboot 3.19 is for latest android 4.4.4 version 3.28.xxx.x going by international version numbers. Other carriers will be in similiar range, 2.23.502.3 for AT&T for example.
Hello everyone this is Shawiee. Last week I brought back my HTC Desire HD to life thanks to you guys by installing a custom ROM. I currently have installed Unofficial Cyanogenmod 11 but it's lagging a lot so I'm basically looking to revert it to stock is possible. My phone is T-Mobile branded, unlocked Bootloader, S-ON, I DON'T have SuperCID, ACE SHIP also I DON'T have a goldcard. For more details check below:
C:\Downgrade>fastboot getvar all

I'd like to install HTC Sense 3.0 with android 2.3.5 if possible so just show me a way out to revert it to stock again. If I need goldcard or SuperCID I'm ready to do it, just show me the way to. Thanks.
Are you wanting to just not have your phone rooted anymore?
Sent from my ATRIX HD
Even when reverting to stock, it will be laggy still. I already tried that. Idk why
