[Q] Notification light not working with MailDroid on AOSP ROMs - Verizon HTC One (M7)

I have installed a few of different the CM10 based ROMs and noticed that the LED Notification light is not working correctly with MailDroid.
Things I have noticed:
Notification light seems to work with Gmail and all other programs just fine
Notification light does work when phone is plugged in, not sure why this is
Notification light works fine with Bonestock ROM
LED Notification is enabled in settings
I contacted the maildroid dev and he thinks it's a CM10 issue.
Wondering if anyone else has experienced this or has any suggestions to get the notification light working correctly with maildroid?

Bummer, I really like CM10 based ROMs and hoped someone might know the answer.

[Q] CM7 RC1 notifications

I'm new to CM and I tried it out but I noticed that the notification light (on the left side of the speaker grill) doesn't work. Instead, the one that's on the right side (dark green and amber) are the ones being used.
Is there anyway for me to get the regular notification lights back? This isn't a big deal to me but handcent lets me change how fast the led flashes and I like that.
Thanks
Unfortunately there is no way to use the left led for notifications. CM changed it between 6.0 and 6.1.
Cyanogenmod uses the wimax led for notifications. I do not believe it can he turned off but can be configure under cm settings then interface the led notifications.
Bah! Haha well that's not cool but I guess I'll just have to get used to it. Thanks guys.

[Q] no led notifications on CM7

I just moved up to CM7, and my led light is not flashing upon new notifications. Anyone know why or how to fix this?
Try use and set the led settings with "Led Me Know" app
Just saw that its working for Twidroid but not for Gmail or SMS.
I've tried LEDme Know, and it does work, I would like to figure out why its not flashing on its own like it should.
Ok, I feel like a noob. The led flashes when the screen is off, not when its on. I was testing out notifications and leaving the screen on.

Light flow vs 4.3

After disabling notifications for light flow, the status bar icon is gone, but the LED doesnt work normally now. Normally i set to LED shinning colour when plugged in but now after i disabled the notification, the LED doesnt light up anymore. Anybody else having similar problems?
Im guessing its due to the app not being updated for 4.3 yet.
App runs just fine here.

Click to collapse
Make sure Accessibility is on in setting. I missed that myself.
That seemed to fix it.

Nexus 5 Led doesn't work (PA 5.0-ALPHA2)

Hi everyone!
Today I've switched from CM11 to PA, and really like it.
But I've noticed, that the notification LED doesn't to anything (neither charging, nor any notifications).
Pulse Notification Light is turned ON, but whether its on and off the result is the same.
I've downloaded Light Flow to test the LED, but its still dark.
Can you help me out?
Thanks in advance:
Aaron
Did you change the kernel? It works fine on my kid's n5
Nope, but I've flashed Franco to fix it, still nothing..

Option to have notification LED always on?

Hey all, I've just got a OnePlus 5T, at the moment i'm running the stock OxygenOS.
I see that I can control the colour of the notification led, however is there a way to make it so the LED doesn't blink and is always on?
If not I might just flash LinageOS, however I was thinking of keeping the phone stock for now if at all possible.
Edit - I found this could be done with an app called Light Manager, however it always had to have a notification saying the app was running.
In the end I found I was missing various other tweaks from LinageOS, so have just flashed that and am really enjoying the phone so far!
