Anyone else have any ideas??

Hopefully this is in the right place to post, but I had to share this for those that never heard of this live wallpaper.
Its easy on the battery since there's not alot moving, and overall just a nice informative wallpaper to have.
There's a free and paid version 65cents? Paid version doesn't really offer to much more than the free one, besides choosing a background and different color fonts and making the font move. But at 65cents not a bad deal I suppose.
Its called WP Clock on the market.
i just love WP Clock..
May I ask if anyone knows what is the widget that looks like the wallpaper with the clock and the tine n stuff but its a widget instead of a wallpaper.

Is this what you're looking for?
Been using this for a full month by now. It's by far the most useful/pretties widget replacing wallpaper I've yet to use.
And for its price, it's a steal.
this thing rocks... LOVE IT!!!
just bought wp clock and i must say it looks fantastic. one thing abt it though, i don't like how its a wallpaper so every homescreen's filled with the thing. really need the space on other homescreens for other stuff. if only they could make this into a widget. typoclock looks similar but i love the data connection and battery info. i tried using multi live wallpaper to have multiple wallpapers simultaneously but it doesnt support using a live wallpaper and a normal one from the gallery. so i guess im stuck, or has anyone found a solution for this yet?

the developer is really good at taking and implementing suggestions... I asked for drop shadow, but he wasn't able to figure that out, so he did the outline so I set my text to white (40% opaque) and outline to black (4pt 80% opaque) and it's almost as good as drop shadow... definitely gives enough contrast to where you can read it no matter what your background is... tell you what, I would actually like the same thing, so I will request it as well, and maybe we'll get it twice as fast =)

Long press on a slider, or press menu then add slider and you can choose theme. It doesn't change the theme as soon as you install.

ive attached screenshots and zip file hopefully they work
and yes im a noob lol
How do you assign the lock homie wsllpaper? I copied the the theme to correct location & naming convention is right but canae see paper? Do you have to save wallpaper to download folder and assign from there or am i losing the plot?

the wallpapers separate you can download this attachment
that was just a screenshot of my lockscreen on my phone
theres an option in widget locker settings under look & feel where you can select a wallpaper tick alternative wallpaper and select whatever you want
Is there any way you can make a theme just like this without the lock icon in the middle? Thanks.
Hi
Quick question RE: Widget locker
I've only ever used this biefly on my old Desire.....this was some time back so my memory is a little hazy
i seem to remember that on occasions that it would either flash up the standard HTC lock screen or require me to unlock one then the other.....or something similar to this
Does this lockscreen work without the above issues (or indeed, any issues) on the S2 ?
is there any lag or any other nasties ??
Cheers

Works fine on mine so far. always showing the widgetlocker except after a fresh reboot. slight lag on the slider at times. my only concern was battery life but it doesn't seem to affect much.

Hello Peeps, a black theme for widget locker
thought i'd share
hit thanks if u like
Im assuming that we would just have to change the size of the images and then just change the font sizes to fit the images. But has anyone played with the HDPI themes to get them to work on our phones and know the perfect size to make them?
They have some pretty good looking clocks but the images are just too big for our phones resolution and it cuts off corners.
Edit: Well I guess if I go with 4x2 widget it works out right. I was trying 3x2 and 2x2 before. I would still like to be able to choose from all different size widgets and not be locked in to 4x2 but I guess it will do for now, until someone comes through with the settings to make them compatible at our resolution.

Not really sure what it is that you're ultimately looking to do, but if you have a 3x2 widget already, you can resize it to 4x2 using either TW launcher and Launcher Pro, as well as others out there...
I guess that coulda been a little confusing. Basically the only way to see the whole clock is to make the widget 4 wide. The only problem with that is that it looks a little small. Like it only takes half the space that it should as a 4x2.
I'm moreso just trying to bring the clock to the max size it can be at each widget size. I'm at my girls for the night so maybe when I get home 2morrow ill try to make the widget show a little bigger to make myself happy. Just thought I'd ask incase anyone else found the mClock widgets to be sorta small

Hi all,
I asked this in Q&A and haven't seen any responses yet, so I'm hoping to get more traction in here. Anyway, I just upgraded from the Galaxy S to the SIII and am trying to keep the same icon's and theme that I had before, but with the new screen size, all of my icon's are too small. I'm using Launcher Pro so I know how to change the icons I want, I just don't know what size to make them this time. Can anyone tell me what the best size for icon's are for the SIII? I did a quick search here, but didn't see anything that was what I was looking for.
Thanks in advance.
Dave
I'm not sure who or how someone will answer this for you. Without knowing what you mean by matching your theme from your s2, how would anyone be able to tell you the best icon size? The default dpi is 320. That fits five or six across without looking too cramped.
On a side note, I can't think of any reason to use LauncherPro on an ICS+ phone. Nova Prime is only a quarter today. Give that a shot. It's built for ICS. LauncherPro hasn't been updated in over a year.

I use go launcher for the reason they let you decide the icon size up to 200p i believe. To my knowledge there is no one else that does it unless recently.
Give it a go.

danjbry,
Thanks for the response, I guess my questions it probably not asked correctly, and perhaps I am going about things they way I did when the Captivate was out. To sum up what I am asking, what is the size in pixels of the stock icons on the SGS3? My icons I made for my Captivate are 72 x 72 pixels with a resolution of 72. I hope that helps. If not, I guess I could just find one of the stock Icons and figure out the size myself, I just figured it would be a common question/knowledge.
Thanks again,
Dave

Ahhhhhhhhhhh... I get it. Everything I'm seeing says that 72x72 is the proper size for xhdpi, but I've also seen some icon size issues with LauncherPro in the past. I stopped using it on my Atrix 4g last year because it made every custom icon set I used look tiny. And that was on a 4 inch screen.
Sorry I can't be of more help.

No problem. I've actually made a bit more progress. I did a restore of my Launcher Pro settings and it put some Desktop Visualizer shortcuts for direct dial back and those were small, in addition to the dock icons. I re-added the the direct dial shortcuts with Desktop Visualizer and they are the right size now. So it seems it was not a size issue so much as a data restore issue. I'm still going to look into the other launcher you mentioned, as soon as I get done setting things up.
Thanks again for the responses.

Which wallpaper brings the best battery life due to low display usage. Does black wallpaper help our phone? Also, is there a way to disable wallpapers and just have a black one by default in jellybean? Thanks.
yes the black one will help and yes there is a default option for 'no wallpaper' in JB(CM10)....
The lighter the color more battery. I usually use darker blues or Black's. Currently using this one. You can get all black ones but it looks weird haha. Stay away from white wallpapers or yellow if you want maximum battery
