Support for M is there in the latest version of flashtool. Make sure you install the adb drivers and the fastboot drivers before you fire up flashtool. :good:

i got the latest version and it doesnt see it as phone .....
Install driver for xperia p,u & sola that's what I was told to do then it will let you flash the.phone

If it's working it will show next to file like this=
flashtool is working for xperia m
there is no drivers for xperia m but other driver works i dont remember which one but you can try installing some new devices drives from the drivers folder.Also you need to install drivers for flashboot and fastboot.
And whn xperia m is in flashboot mode you need to install driver for sony adb interface driver..

Try this driver. Stripped down package containing only Xperia M/Xperia M dual ADB drivers, signed. I got them from PC Companion app data...

are you on Xperia m dual? I had tried to update last night using SPC but it said upto date while I'm on 4.2.2. but in support it shown latest firmware is 4.3. i haven't tried to update today. have you updated today to 4.3? are you from India?
I'm from Brazil and I got the update yesterday. It's rolling out so it may take some time until it reaches your country. If you don't want to wait then you can flash a FTF of the update (already uploaded in the forums) with Flash Tool...

Just use the latest version of FlashTool by Androxyde (currently at 0.9.16.0) and flash a FTF for you phone (you can find a lot in Xperia M General forum section)...

He is a chinese ，too。I dont think I must use English ，when I talk to a Chinese。
I just tested this with my .55 generic Xperia S with locked bootloader. It was very quick and I now have root.

I have a xperia m dual c2004. I rooted with vroot. Next i installed GL to SD and now my phone is in continuous reboot mode. I am not able to use it.
Can someone plz help me how i can flash the stock firmware. I do not have the stock firmware. So plz provide me the necessary links. Any prerooted custom firmware will also be of great help.

Yes use Sony PCC. Happened to me twice and it fixed it. Although it wipes your phone.

As far as tested, this update is a crap, a piece of sh**t. All bugs from the older 15.5.A.0.18 update are here, except themes installation that got partially fixed

+1 I tested the firmware for single sim and guess what same ****,
Like the themes arn't even completly fixed cause install some themes and apply it will bootloop so really it's a ****y update performance to just **** back to 4.4 best thing to do

Since i cannot make a backup of my phone, i have to take a risk whether i should try this update or not. Are there anything other than the themes fixed? because on this current firmware there is already a themes fix. And since i dont want to lose all my customisations on my current firmware, i dont think i will update. Im gonna wait for that 4.4 update i hope

I don't know about bugs but I can say that performance is better than previous update. At least the apps are opening faster.

I'm also using brazil firmware 15.5.a.1.5 for xmd and now bsnl 3g signal got very weak, maybe frequency differences. i think only way is to install any older official firmware and then update to latest using pc companion.

There are many 'world' releases from different countries.
I'd be interested to see if the Serbian 'world' 15.4.A.1.9 release has SMS(txt'n) character optimisation option as the 15.4.A.0.23 version did.
I know the Malaysian 15.4.A.1.9 release doesn't have an SMS character optimisation option (FYI)
Update - Oh, and you may want to check the Wireless 5GHz regulations for the country you're in if you plan to use 5GHz WiFi.
Singapore has a different set of regulatory channels/frequencies compare to say Europe.
Checked WiFi conf on other ROMs and don't see any differences in WiFi ini between the ROM's so no reason to think Singapore would be any different as a 'world' unbranded ROM.
I did get caught out using an Indonesian Xperia M (C1905) Android 4.1 ROM once and at the time it didn't even support 5GHz WiFi (regulations for Indonesian 5GHz WiFi changed to now allow it, but not sure if that's now reflected in ROMs)

At other forum I meet a lot people who stuck at animation right after unlocking bootloader.
What happens not clearry (messing /data?), but just flashing stock surely helps.

There is a root method in the Cross-Device section (towel root). CWM currently no available on our phones, but I think its work in progress
