Hey pls anyone create an apk which gives the shortcut to dual sim settings so that it will be easy to change the mobile data service provider.. we have shortcuts for all settings except sim card manager..

It is a basic function to me, but I can't find it where to set it, any third party app can do that?
U cant save sms on sim card. Only sms from the carrier can be saved there and contacts. Theres apps on the market where u can save you sms on the sdcard tho

Use a 3rd party app like Contact2SIM from the market (Tested personally. I needed my contacts on a dumbphone, and transferring via SIM was the only option)
I'm on nightlies but If I go to contacts press menu then import/export I can backup to my SD.
Edit:: my bad, didn't read the op correctly again, thought you said SD card not sim.

I don't think CM has such an option built-in. You will have to go for "periodic" backups at best.
Hello everyone,
I am having a big problem and I can't resolve it. Yesterday, I installed Notification toggle and I had in the notification bar the apn renamer. I didn't like the app so I uninstalled it and I found out that it renamed my apn so that it wouldn't connect to 3g. I used titanium backup to restore my settings and it actually worked. The only problem I get now is that since I was using the HTC mobile network widget to turn on and off the mobile data now the widget doesn't work anymore. Can somebody pls help me?

i changed my local carrier and of course my sim.
my problem is, data connection is not appearing on my new sim. i personally cut it.
btw my old sim has no problem w/ data connection.
Do i have to buy a new sim and cut it with the real cutting device?
Call your carrier ask for their apn setting.
Chances are your new sim doesn't have their apn setting pre-coded only.

Hi everyone!!! just got a question with Go SMS..it's not showing Sim1 or Sim2 when you send messages..any help pls..thanks
go sms does not support dual sim
Third party apps (facebook messanger, go sms.... ) may not show you sim number in sent or recieved msg.
You have to see it in stock message app.

Actually Go SMS Pro does support dual in its 5.23 and 5.24 versions. You can download those from http://www.androiddrawer.com/20297/download-go-sms-pro-app-apk/
