Hey, j am having issues with my gps. I am running game the stock firmware (4.3) with all updates. unlocked but not rooted.
there is a game I play called ingress. and this is a gps based game and precision is important.
For example, I was right in the center of the portal and it still drifted all around the place. about 100feet offset, and this was a few minutes ago. now it's OK..
it's Intermittent, most of the time it's OK.
Help?

Sounds fairly normal to me, unfortunately. It's probably that time of day where you have a poor satellite configuration or your agps data is old. Try the GPS status app top tragedy your agps data when this happens, may help.

I really like Sygic. I just used it today for a business trip in a foreign country and it works great.
I also use the program FasterGPS from the play store and that has greatly reduced the GPS search time for Sygic.

I use Navigon and Sygic but there is no gps signal at all and I can't use these apps correctly. And main question is how I can iprove my GPS signal
FasterGPS allows you to change the country you are in to the correct one - default is usually the USA. This has changed my signal from nothing or a few minutes to a strong signal in 10 seconds.

I change country in Android Tweaker pro app to my location (Lithuania), but it doesn't help anything, but I will try FasterGps app
any suggestion with angry gps...???

Install "GPS Status & Toolbox" from the Play Store. It does wonders on my Wonder.

Hi Guys,
I only have this problem on my HTC One, while on data (not WiFi).
XDA is one of 3 forums that I have registered on my device. When I start Tapatalk, while on 3G / 4G / LTE, the app hangs at "processing". I can tap the screen to hide that and access the rest of my forums, but if I try to access XDA, same thing, sticks on processing / loading.
If I remove XDA, it stops, and if I'm on WiFi, the problem stops.
Any ideas?

Mine connected instantly, located and rang my phone just fine. My brother has a S3 and he is also having problems, he has multiple devices showing up (which he has).
Even though I hadn't at the time, you could try activating Android Device Manager in Device Administrator by checking the tick box it and trying again. I was using Chrome (which also did the work on my brothers S3 lol)

'no active devices' error for me
If you're having trouble tracking, try signing out of your online Google account. Go back to Android Device Manager then sign in again. Works for me

Very handy if you don't have Cerberus installed - wonder how long til they introduce Cerberus' other features (taking pictures of / filming the schmuck that stole your android etc)
I recently updated my nexus to stock 4.4 kitkat and now my screen will not rotate. Orientation is not locked.
I went back to 4.3 cm10 and I'm still having the issue. Has anyone else run into this problem?
Sometimes it works but most of the time it doesn't.
It also effects games where the device needs to be tilted to turn or move etc.

Just wondering if anyone has been able to play World Of Aircraft game with in the last few weeks. I'm a huge fan of the game...probably the best game I've tried on android. But for the past few weeks the game will not load. It starts out OK, showing the intro screen , but when it attempts to connect device to server , it can't. I've tried other android devices other then my note 3 with the same results. However, it does work on iOS. I've search the web countless times to get some info or support on the matter, but can't find anything or anyone talking about it. I fear the developer may have just suddenly dropped all android support. Any info or thoughts would be good to hear from the community.

(UPDATE) although no responses ...for anyone who is interested...last night when I tried to open game , this is what I got. Unfortunately, it still will not let me update the application as of yet...but I'm happily optimistic. If anyone has a copy of the new "world of aircraft" game apk, please upload.
