If you want MIUI on your phone, just use the CM10 version. If you still insist on using CM10.1, just flash another ROM based on CM10.1.

I just made a call using Viber, works fine for me. I'm on CM10.1. I don´t think its a rom problem. Did you try reinstall a rom in a pristine way?

Arco’s built works fine on mine. But I found that other 4.2.2 built got this problem, such as slimbeam and baked beam on 4.2.2 which Tim’s built. That is a bug of their Rom. I think we should respond to them and try to ask them to fixed.

Paranoid Android 2.99?

I can't seem to get this to work. I am running PA 3.10 but its too 'experimental' yet to use on a daily basis. Any special tricks I need to get this version to work? Or a list of what kernels are known to work? I suspect that it is a kernel issue.

try Evervolv 4.2.2
EXTREMELY STABLE :silly::silly:
Maybe I am missing something but isn't evervolv missing most if not all of the features and options of PA?
If you could point me to the stable version of AOSPA 4.22 that would be great. I only can find the one thread that has the buggy version.

So... you never answered--does Evervolv have the hybrid mode and cusotmization options of PA or is just a straight vanilla rom, because thats what it sounds like when I read the description.
And does anyone know how to get 2.99 working?
Evervolv is a vanilla rom.

2.99 is working
just flash the hellboy kernel( not the 4.2 one)
or u can also try super sick kernel
So which hellboy kernel do I use? There are tons of them and not really labeled or explained coherently.
Do I just get the latest one?

i used this one here for PA 2.99
http://www.mediafire.com/?svp4x7vo15jp12f
Use Evervolv
I think you will be better off using Evervolv. I tried the april 27 version and it was very good. There is also a newer version now available.

[Q] Beginner clarification

Hi all,
Can you tell me if the pa_i9300-4.0-BETA3-20140120.zip ROM has android 4.4 kitkat? (ROM is downloadable from here: http://goo.im/devs/paranoidandroid/roms/i9300)
And if the answer is yes, why is the release named 4.0 and not 4.4?
Thanks and apologies if it's a stupid question
All of PA 4.0 are kitkat. They are versioned as such because the last version of PA was 3.99. Their versioning scheme has nothing to do with the android version.

PA 3.99 was android 4.3
CM 10.2 was 4.3
Why would the version of a ROM be the same as the version of android? I don't know of any dev or team that does that.

CM choose a new nummer by every new android name.
icecreamsandwisch (4.0) CM9
jellybean (4.1) CM10
jellybean (4.2) CM10.1
jellybean (4.3) CM10.2
and because 4.4 was named KitKat it gets a new number.
