[Q] HTC Music App - Album Art & Artist Photo Downloading - Verizon HTC One (M7)

Hey all,
So a few days ago I had all my album art and artist photos neatly displaying in the HTC Music app. Today when I go to listen at work, there is a TON missing. So I have tried re-downloading them by clearing the Music app cache and various other things. No avail. I have tried going on my SD and deleting anything to do with the Music app and caches and try re-downloading but still nothing. NOW I have no photos and when it goes to search on Gracenote it says something like "xxx albums scanned, 0 updated".
Thoughts?
Thanks.

Duplicate Songs- Any ideas?

Hi:
I have all my music stored on SD card. I sync it with Windows Media Player. All songs appear normally in Windows Media Player and when I use Files Explorer on Tilt 2 to view the songs on SD card.
My problem is, when I use the music player in TF3D, and look at library/songs, many songs appear twice. The really odd part is that a song may appear once with album art (which all my songs have), and a second instance with no album art.
When I play songs on the music tab in TF3D both instances of the song play. What I mean is, sometimes a song will show with album art, and sometimes the one without album art shows. The same is true if I edit a song title etc through Windows Media Player (I believe it is version 11). A song will show as the pre-edited version sometimes, other times it shows the edited version.
Any ideas? This is really driving me nuts.
Thanks!
I have a similar problem - but possibly the opposite to yours.
I have approx. 15Gb of music on the MicroSD on my TP2, and regularly use Windows Media Player to sync new music to the phone. However, Windows Media Player appears to sync ALL the music BACK to the PC as well - meaning I have each song duplicated on the PC (sometimes many times), which is rapidly filling up my hard drive unless I periodically manually delete all duplicates (which is painful).
I'm sure there must be a setting within Windows Media Player to stop this happening - but I still want to be able to sync music TO the phone (just not back).
Has anyone else encountered this issue or know a solution?

Problem with artworks in HTC Music Player

Hi,
I hope I'm posting this in the right section.
I have a problem with HTC Music player not showing some artworks (which are directly saved in mp3). I already tried 3 (Cubed) player as well and it has the same issue.
I also tried updating the artwork several times just to make sure Desire would recognize the change but no luck. The phone does not refresh the id3tag at all. Winamp and WMP on my desktop show the artwork correctly.
Does anyone else experience something similar?
Well, it seems that deleting the folder albumthumbs from SDcard solved this issue.
Although it does not explain why the phone is unable to refresh the id3 tags even when the affected songs are deleted and copied back again.
Oh well
Have you tried to use the app called SDrescan?

[Q] Duplicate Music Tracks & In-Correct Album Artwork Error?

Just rooted my phone and flashed it with NeoPhyTe ROM, restored all my data with MyBackupPro
However ALL my music played via the "Music" app, appears twice and the album artwork is displayed in the wrong order
When I looked at the SD Card, it definetly only has ONE copy of each track in the Music folder
Any ideas how to remove the duplicates without having to sync the music from scratch?

Music app

got another question...the music app shows all my music and playlists but the playlists are empty?
I have cleared the cache but it will not show the songs in the playlist.

[Q] No media scan results CM10.1

Hi, I seem to be unable to play any music both with Apollo and PowerAmp. It does not show I have any music on the phone. I checked my music folder locations in Power amp and also cleared both cache and dalvik. Still can't get the phone to find music files. It does scan, but the scan runs for less than 5 seconds. I have almost 30GB if music.
Any ideas?
Thanks.
