Incoming caller shows +1 then 10 digit number then ;00 it causes incoming calls not to be found in my phonebook nor blocked if on the block list.
This is only with Wifi Calling on.
I spoke to T-mobile they acknowledge lots of complaints about it.
Just a PIA I didn't see posted so figured I would share.

Yes, it's a bug with WiFi Calling, most likely on the T-Mobile servers... call Tech Support and report it, they have to fix it on their end.
Will do, thanks.

I have it too.. Does it need to be fixed for everyone? or is it just individual accounts? Cause I called T-Mobile already, and the tech didnt know what I was talking about and then said it was this problem http://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-9456 and that it would be fixed eventually.. (but she didnt send me the link till after we hung up or i would have told her that I didnt think it was that)
I turned off wife calling. When I have incoming calls people on the other end can't hear me, or I sound like a chipmunk.

It should work by default, maybe check to see if you have internet calling enabled... if you do then you would be using a data connection for your calls, if you get a call come through while during a data connection there is a setting to send it to voicemail... I don't know if that helps at all but other than that I am at a loss as well.

I am running Synergy with Device 003. This is my problem. Over half of my calls, if I don't answer the phone, do not go to voice mail, they just get disconnected. If I turn my phone OFF and call the phone I get the same result, sometimes it goes to voice mail sometimes it just disconnects.
I have contacted sprint and they reset my voice mail. Same problem, they claim it's a hardware issue which it can't be hardware or Rom issue if it happens when the phone is off. Does anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks
Just had this happen to a customer just yesterday. Their HTC Shift would direct the call to voicemail when the call was declined, but when ignored/missed the call would go through intermittently. When it did not make it to voicemail, all we got was a disconnect/fast busy tone.
Updated PRL & Profile
Reset NAI values via ##SCRTN#
Had the account/device refreshed via Sprint customer care
Ordered new hardware
I tried to explain to the care rep that the phone could be turned off and the call should be directed to voicemail. "Phone designates when/where the call goes", I said, if the phone is off, what does the network do? "We recommend a new phone for the customer".
I've done all of that also. So how can it be the hardware, it doesn't make sense if you can turn the phone off and it happens.
The call forwarding settings on sprints side could be corrupt. Call them and ask them to check check ESM for call forwarding default, no answer and default. Sometimes this tool is overlooked by reps.

Thanks for the replies everyone. So 2 hours on the phone with tech support yesterday. They checked all the forwarding in fact took my voicemail out of the system and re added it. Same problem, most calls don't make it to voicemail and it takes several people multiple calls just to get my phone to ring. I will borrow someones sprint phone tomorrow and change it to my number and see if that helps. I still believe it must be a network issue.

Changing hardware to thay other than Android would be beneficial. 1) would definitely prove hardware/network issue B) if the 2ndary phone's voicemail works, and it's a different OS(even basic) you change what server voicemail goes to. If it doesn't there's more to be had on your issue
Either way, switch back and test.

Make sure that you use a sprint phone that has visual voicemail. If you don't it will provision you on the other voicemail server and taint your results.
I honestly believe you need to to call sprint back and have them open a ctms ticket for your issue. This is something that they should have done during your first call.

For those who have their Sprint number integrated with Google Voice, have you experienced any issues with not receiving calls? Sometimes, I'll receive a missed call notification in Google Voice but my phone never rings. Tried testing it by calling from my landline and it goes straight to voice mail saying, "the Google Voice subscriber you have called is not available."
It doesn't happen all the time but enough that's it's an annoyance.
Call Sprint and have them reprovision you. I've had this happen before and that usually fixes it.

Thanks...I'll give them a call.
Does using Google voice use any minutes from the land line plan, or is it totally free to use.

If you integrate your Sprint number with your Google Voice account then yes it does use your minutes.
I have this problem as well, going to call sprint
from a galaxy, far, far away.
So I called and had my phone reprovisioned but I still missed a call without it ever ringing. I'm thinking this might simply be a problem with the Google Voice servers getting overloaded at times.
Dang was hoping this would be the solution

Nice sig
For anyone who still has their Sprint number integrated with Google Voice, are you guys still experiencing problems like this? I'm thinking about integrating them again but not if these issues are still persisting.
On rare occasions I have experienced this, but usually it works just fine. I'm pretty sure it has to do with the fact that GV will only ring your number for about 30 seconds, and sometimes it takes the towers longer than that to find you. I've had my actual phone ring for only about 5 seconds before. It would be nice if GV let you set the timeout...

I experienced the same problem . missed calls and delayed texts . I deleted Google voice and went with YouMail and so far I haven't missed calls or texts that I know of. I tried to use sprint voicemail it kept giving me a busy signal no matter what I did .

The thing I miss most about Google Voice is the ability to text from my computer without my phone having any sort of data or wifi connection. I've tried DeskSMS, MightyText and mySMS but they all require your phone to be connected to the internet for the texts to go through. So if your phone is off or in deep sleep without wifi or data, the texts don't go through. The missed calls thing with Google Voice was a deal breaker though.
Still happening to me and my wife (one android one iPhone). Getting real frustrating. In addition, we are also experiencing an ability to place a call, needing to try mutliple times before the call will go through.
Seems to happen most often when calling from one Gvoice number to the other.
This is with Sprint Integration.
We are struggling between living with this and missing out on all the Gvoice features if we drop it.

Mine is working great and has ever since I started using GV. There are times where a missed call notice will show up without hearing the phone ring, but I suspect that's just Sprint. Doesn't happen anymore now than it ever did. At least I get notified quickly.
Same issues here. I noticed it only happens from people who aren't in my contact list. As soon as I add them, all their calls and messages get through. I had GV integration, but not anymore.
Could this be an issue with CM 10.1? The reason I'm asking this is that all the missed texts show up in mighty text on my notebook.
Hello Friends
I have an issue related to call waiting notification when I'm calling somebody and who is already in a call - my HOX does not notify me about this. I activated the call waiting service and usual, on other mobiles, this was enough to be notified when I'm calling somebody who is in a call. It can be embarrassing sometimes, if the person I'm calling is busy talking and his call waiting is activated, he will be disturbed, but I won't have any clue disturbing their conversation!
thanks

HTC's don't actually have this implemented. You'll find that this is a feature that only Nokia, Samsung and Sony have. I'm assuming it's to do with some patent or another that not enough of these phone companies feel is necessary.
Are there any apps in the market that notifies that the person I am calling is busy!
Thanks Friends

Nope, it appears to be a hardware thing as opposed to software.

This is my set up.
I have native phone for regular calls, and Talkatone app for WiFi calling. I also have GrooveIP, but seldom use it.
In any case, whenever I get a call on Talkatone, both it and the stock phone rings. I can answer Talkatone, but the stock phone keeps ringing, and vice-versa (answer the stock phone, but Talkatone keeps ringing. Just silencing one is no good because it still shows up on the home screen as an incoming call. And personally, I use the Wifi calling feature 90% of the time at home or when I'm near a WiFi signal.
Both have different numbers as well.
Is there anyway to have them ring independently of each other without enabling & disabling every time I go out?
Any ideas?
Probably more of a talkatone issue I'm guessing. Do you have some kind of call forwarding set up on one of the numbers.
I.never even knew this was possible, so I'm just not sure where you could start troubleshooting.

I was just hoping it was encountered by someone else that had found a solution. It is a forwarding issue, but I followed the steps sited at Talkatone website to solve it, which it didn't. I've also sent them a email, but like I said, I was just hoping someone had had it before.

Trying one more time, since sending emails to them has produced absolutely nothing.
Talkatone number should not be forwarded. On Google Voice settings/phone you should have Google Voice forward to Google Chat "only". Google Chat in turns forward the call to Talkatone. If you click forward GV to your carrier number too, yeah there's your problem.
So in a nutshell you should check only one of the box. If you have both of them check then both of them will ring.

That is the setup I have, yet it still rings both numbers.
Try unchecking the two texts box under forwarding number. Also try alternating between the two forwarding option (chat and T-Mobile). Maybe that will reset it.
