[Q] Custom Rom Help on Wind t999v - T-Mobile, Samsung Galaxy SIII

Hey guys I rooted my phone for the first time.
I was wondering what is the best custom Rom/Roms that will work on t999v (wind).
To prepare for the installation of the new Rom, I downloaded Goomanager and installed the open recovery script. Is there anything else I should do before going ahead with an installation of one of the Roms you guys suggest?
Thanks. :fingers-crossed:

HTC touch - Upgrading to cooked ROM

Hi - New member here.
Is there a guide describing how to prepare for a cooked ROM upgrade ?
Also is there something which describes the functionality of the most popular ROMs ?
I am keen to take the plunge, but can only find threads in which experts discuss things.
Thanks

Hi Guys,
First post here, been doing alot of reading on these great forums with regards to Rooting and custom ROMs.
Rooted and Flashed my first custom ROM today, UK Spec One X now with ClockworkMod and Cyanogenmod10 all working great.
Just a Thank you really to everybody on here who has taken the time to develop and document these mods, esp to Hasoon2000 for his All-In-One Toolkit V2.1 - Awesome bit of Kit mate
Cheers,
Rich.
That's so unnecessary that you are posting such a thread -_- ....if you want to thank the dev's or so then go to their thread an click on thanks...and then post thanks for the great things to make such things possible or so ...but it's really unnecessary that you are posting such a thread...i can laugh about such threads/people

Noob question: What is the most stable and clean way to root my Bell S3?

I've been fine with stock ROM, but now I need root: my new car stereo needs UMS mode to recognize phone as thumbdrive with all its music, and an app to do that requires root. Besides, I think Bell has stopped updating firmware for S3.
So, I've looked and there are several ways to root and many ROMs. Can I root without changing ROM at all? If not, what would be the most stable ROM with recent Android version? I need it to be as stable as stock, and working with Bell, without any glitches and with everything working. Does such beast exists? Stock ROM is rock-stable, I want something like that.

So, on these forums, people are doing voluntary/non-profit work to post their findings and write tutorials to help others. That's ok, it's their choice.
This forum came equipped with a search engine that helps you find information based on what you want. It's great, thank the webmaster for that.
If this forum doesn't have the information that you are looking for you can request it in a nice way, well written, etc. That again, is okay and acceptable.
YOU! You, skipping all those steps and making a brand new thread... just because you can, filling this board up with junk... not even trying to use search or just browse page by page the specific sections... Are simply scum... You think people here should write a tutorial just for you to understand, losing their time for free?
How are mods keeping these threads up? No, really... is it that mods need to respond only to tickets and reports?
Theo said it correctly, I will say it simply .......Search......... really search, then if what you are asking you find no existing threads of help (which is a 1% chance) Then ask, not before
Thread is going nowhere, as such, this THREAD IS CLOSED
