Hold the power button until it shuts of completely. Plug it into the charger and immeditely hold the power button to shut it off again. If you can get it to stay off, leave it alone for a few hours and check it again.

[Q] Rooted Amazon Kindle Fire, now bricked and my computer(windows 7) cant find it

I rooted my KF about a month ago, and its been working fine since, then my friend told me to download firefirefire and NWRP from the kindle fire utility(which i used to root). In the process of downloading firefirefire, a boot symbol pops up with the kindle fire logo and an android bot over it. Its been stuck like that since, and my computer wont read the kindle when its plugged into the usb. Im also sort of a noob, so please help?
You admittedly said you're a noob so you should read this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1552547 . Your kindle isn't bricked. It's in fastboot mode. There are a few ways you can handle this situation. Search the forums as your situation is not unique and has been discussed all over these threads. If your still having problems and can't figure it out come back here for help.
The screen your looking at is the bootloader screen the problem is your still looking at it. This replaced the old fff boot loader the yellow triangle. If you end up stuck at the yellow triangle, in KF Utility select Boot Normal, wait for it to say <waiting for device> and then press and hold the power button 20 seconds until the fire turns off, then when its off turn it back on. This sometimes happens, I have yet to find a clean solution If you end up stuck with a yellow triangle, do not EVER unplug it. Leave it plugged in. Check the windows drivers to make sure it isnt showing as "kindle" again. Fastboot is different and can cause this.
You can hold down the power button till it fully powers off ,then power it on when you see the screen your stuck at hold the power button again till it turns orange and twrp opens up if not read more to find out what to do next

If you get your kindle booting correctly I suggest you flash the new bootloader 1.4a by Hashcode. You can find that here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1632375 This new bootloader has some additional options, one which will allow you to tell the KF to boot normally if you were to find yourself in this situation again.

[Solved] Same problem Fire phone stuck at boot logo (breathing but not responsive)
I had a similar issue with Fire Phone.
Have sideloaded Google services and Play and used it for like a month, when it got stuck at boot logo (breathing but not responsive).
I have tried to restart it numerous times, connect it to the PC, but i had no ADB.
Push and hold the Power button for 20 seconds, the phone will vibrate briefly and restart.
It has deleted some shortcuts from GNL, everything else seems to work.

Kindle Fire HD 7" Shuts off after five seconds

I have a second generation Kindle Fire hd, and after I press the power button it shows the Kindle Fire logo then shuts off completely. I tried holding the power button for 30 seconds to see if it would turn on and no luck. I also received a factory cable to see if that would help, but once it loads into fastboot mode it shuts off.
I'm not exactly sure what the problem could be, maybe a dead battery? I just wanted to know if anyone could shed some light on this please?
Are you able to boot into recovery? Press and hold the volume up button (the one nearest the camera) while the kindle's booting (and keep holding it until 1 second after the blue Kindle Fire logo appears), and it should launch TWRP or CWM if Hashcode's 2nd bootloader is flashed.

Try plugging the kindle into a wall outlet and leaving it overnight to charge. Perhaps a dead battery's causing your issue? (if that were the case, you would see a red battery logo every time you try to boot it.)

I'll give it a try.I also saw that it might be the bootloader but only thing is if I flash it I might brick my device since it'll shut off.

Unless you're planning on flashing a new bootloader, then you shouldn't worry too much about bricking - I'm fairly certain most ROM zips only wipe and modify /system and boot partitions (and maybe user partitions), so the bootloader remains intact and still permits you to reboot into fastboot in an emergency. However, I would also avoid flashing until the sudden power off issue is remediated.
When and how did this issue first appear, and have you been able to bypass it in any way?
I started having this problem after I flashed hashcode's new Lolipop build. This was when it was first released. Since then I haven't been able to bypass it in anyway.

Does your power button light up when charging? You may have a broken USB port.

Whoops - I confused the 2nd gen KF with the HD 7". Try holding the power button down for about 10 seconds, then press it again to try to get it to boot normally.
