don't know dude, I just liked the app so thought of sharing it...btw I found the app in xperia x10 forums
you have to be part of the beta before the app offers you the beta services.
Sign up on music.google.com
but you have to be in the USA...unless you...erm...use a proxy...or vpn... but I am not telling you to do that
It might take several weeks before you get your invite though.

I signed up to the beta and registered via a vpn but have been using it recently through my normal UK IP. It seems to be working pretty nicely so far
I signed up for the Beta the same day it was annouced/offered and didn't get my invite until June 2, so don't give up yet.
How is this one different than the android market version?
Im guessing for those outside the US, but thought I'd ask.

in this app, i get duplicates
i have a few songs on my phone and also on my cloud that are the same.
is there any way to view only songs stored on cloud?
because i'd also like to keep some songs local.
it has the option to view offline music available,
im looking for an option to display only "online songs" ( cloud)
off topic, but facebook for android is updated and is available in market

Got it two weeks ago, uploaded almost 15.000 songs and mixes already. Pretty awesome, songs play almost instantly and completely load over 3g in like 10/15 seconds.
Can confirm you only need a USA IP for actually signing in and agreeing to music manager then installing the app.
After that your normal IP will work with it.
Currently uploading my tunes to it, and working well
Loads quickly via 3G as well, quite handy having access to your library from anywhere.
I don't think you need a USA IP at all. I requested an invitation with a Google Account where the country was set to "UK" and received one weeks ago. I sign into music.google.com using the same account in the UK and have no issues.
YMMV.
I am still trying to find out how I can let Google Music download the Offline content to my external_sd card instead of the internal.
Where is google storing those music files now? Any idea.
Was anybody able to set a song as a ringtone that has been put as offline content?

because a factory reset will work............it sounds like since the new update maps is NOT available for you for some reason....probably a change in the build.prop what rom are you using??? try a different rom and see if it shows up...also clear the data+cache on play store
I found it!
It does not appear under my apps section.
its under the installed apps.
thanks guys!
Does anyone know how to sync two Google accounts' music to one phone?
I figured out how to add a second account to my phone, but there is no check box to sync Google Play Music? The box only exists on my first account that's on my phone.
That option is currently only available for tablets only. The smartphone version of Google Music will only allow you to sync one account for your music and would have to toggle between the accounts for each music library.

Well,
Hi name is Chris. Anyways did some digging.
Unless your willing to take your devices in and pay for Domain App by a store I don't see anyway other then storing in DropBox.
Here is a quote on what I found
"misterteche says:
I employ Google Apps for Domain and have a general "family" account for sharing purchased apps then configured that family account on each phone. Nothing else is shared--no email, contacts and calendar. That solved the issue of other family members having access to contacts and emails. On my teen's phone, I configured "pin access" in Google Play so that no authorized charges are made to my credit card.
BTW, a factory reset will need to be done if you want to change the primary account Google Play is associated with on the phone."
I'm sure if you go into store you can set this up. Unconditionally you will have to pay for both cell phone bills. Married couples this probably works great.
Friends wanting to share music not so great! Google should have a friends share feature were you could listen to the song 5 times then be prompted to continue to listen to this song you must purchase it.
I'm sure with Google Apps for Domain at a store if your running a rooted phone or they would want to lock the service.

Well Sorry no buddy sharing music in Google Play
Thanks! But, I'm confused, what is "Google Apps for Domain"?
I googled it but came up empty?
Look into the app called "SwitchMe Multiple Accounts." It allows you to have different user accounts for one device. Both music accounts wont be in one app though. You will need to switch users to access the other account.
Google Apps for Domain is a service provided by phone company. Have a friend at work who set this up with At&t had to request this service at the store. Remember right he had to pay like extra 25 dollars a month to keep service turned on bewteen phones and tablet. Switch me multiple accounts i didn't mention because you had to reboot your device to access different account. The Google Apps Domain is service like any other just request it at phone booth the should be able to set it up for a steep price. Furthermore I assumed that you didn't want to reboot or have access to there email account just the music.

PS ....
Dad worked for Qwest and At&t had 40 yrs as telephone and fiber optics installs. Qwest former US West now Century link is a Mountian Bell company that provides phone service for Lousiannna, Colorado and few of the southern states.
Anyways from what my dad told me you can request any service you want from the phone company but it will cost you. Now i would explain it in full but we would go off into astro physics. In short they program the phone to send and recieve music files to and from the google accounts.
This setup is why they would want your phone and tablet to program them to recieve just those files.

You need to sync first acct and save music to device .... Log into second and do the same thing...done. I have noticed if it doesnt sync u mite have to enter play music store and play a song that has been purchased and u should see sync music ... Then u want to save to device. Btw...I have done it on my tablet @ home with no prob except the play store thing but works after that...shouldn't need anything else.
Edit: didn't see other member mention that it works on tablet but not on phone... Weird. I'll have to try it now!!! Lol gonna gave it shot and report back...sorry. But def works on tablet tho...

Well sorry skipped over what she really wanted. Personally I just setup a 500 gig external hard drive wireless network with my Xbox and save files this way. Not into having music on my Asus tf300 when I got the nexus 4. I don't stream music unless its a YouTube video. Then I can use YouTube 2 Mp3.

Thanks. When I add the first account, I see the SYNC MUSIC box but when I add the second account, there is no SYNC MUSIC check box. I actually have to remove the first account and then add the second one. If I do it in the reverse order, it happens the same. Only the first google account that's added gets the SYNC MUSIC check box. I'm thinking this is probably because google has to deal with music license stuff. Can anyone else confirm this?

Why don't you just upload all the music from account #1 to account #2?
Unless you have more than 20,000 songs then in that case....

Tried it again on tablet jus to make sure..
OK , after I'm signed into original acct. And sync music from acct (1) I went to play store and hit settings/add acct entered other acct. Choose acct (2) from music apk. It did say i would lose music not saved to device. Hit OK. And then synced music from acct (2). I have noticed to get the music from acct(2). I do have to find a song i purchased on acct(2) should say purchased next to it. Play the song and hit sync. Its hit or miss with having to do that step. After experimenting I'm not sure if there is a clear cut system. But i was able to have multi acct music on one device. Sorry i cant be more helpful. Ill keep trying to find a clear cut system that works 100

Yes there is a difference you only see your account info for device through the google play app. With the browser I can access all devices Nook Color, Nook Tablet, Nexus 4 and Asus Transformer and send a app, music or book to any device. Even though books really don't need be forwarded to a device.
Simply put this is how manage multiple devices under the same account for families. You can even have credit card info stored under the browser and google play app. So you could buy prepaid cards and have 50 dollars for each kid in your family to load to there account for spending on books, movies and music.
From Google play Store
Manage your devices
You can stream music in your library to any device or computer via a browser on which you're signed in. You can also download music in your library to any authorized device or computer. You can authorize up to a total of ten devices or computers at any one time. At this time, only two Google accounts per computer can be used to add music with the Google Play Music Manager.
Music from your library cannot be played simultaneously on more than one device. If you're currently playing music, you’ll need to stop playback in order to play your music on another device.
To see the Android devices with access to your library and the computers authorized for adding music, visit play.google.com/music and select 'Settings'. If you'd like to revoke a device's access to your library or disassociate your Google Account with the Music Manager on a computer, you can do so by clicking 'Deauthorize'.*Please note that once you've associated a total of ten computers and devices to your account, you may only add a new device by deactivating one first and you may not add more than four new devices per year.

If you use an app like BubbleUPNP, you can sync it with a Google Music account. That way, you can have one account on the official Google Music app, and the second on Bubble...
You could even try contacting the dev for Bubble and see if they can tweak it to allow multiple accounts...
This is it

Hi there,
people with nexus 7, can they test to me if they can download this app from play store on their nexus 7. Or they get messages like not compatible or don't see it on the store at all.
thank you
Made for phones, not compatible with tablets i think just like Whatsapp
Maybe
Try to find the apk on another site, I had the same problem with fifa 14 companion apk, its only made to phones but got the apk via google and I could install and use it just fine
Not for table
No, its limited to phones. However, find an APK and it should install and work fine. (like whatsapp)
no, go to google play See this
Anyway to get around it?
In the last few years I've installed dozens of ROMs in several devices from smartphones to tablets and NEVER had to pay again for any app.
Your purchases should be tied to your google play account, not your device or rom.

Adding on to that all you have to do is log in to the Google Play account you bought the apps/games/movies/music on and then find that product in the google play store. Since you bought it before it will let you download it without paying again.
A great app for making a list of what you have installed is My App List (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.projectsexception.myapplist&hl=en). It will also take you to the play store and let you install each app on the list. So run it before you flash, store the file it creates some where other than your device's storage, flash, install the app again and then copy your list back where My App List need to find it and go put your apps back.
