Anyone have any tips on making sure 4g works in a CM based Rom, on Ting? I haven't had any luck so far. Works fine using a TW based Rom, but would like to get it working in CM or Paranoid
This thread has a small file you flash in recovery. Works for me with CM. I tried it with Carbon and didn't work. https://help.ting.com/entries/25805278-LTE-fix-for-Android-4-3

Is the synergy nightly updates working yet or do I still need to download from link? Asking just to make sure I am not having an issue, so far I am digging this rom.
As of the latest nightly; it is not working. I think it will be easier once they get it working though.
Awesome ROM
Yea, it doesn't seem to work in all parts from what I can see.
I have tried 4.1.2 and stability was fairly poor. Settings/keyboard/contacts crash fairly often.
I currently use CM9 without any issues but I wanted to update if possible. Is there a very near 100% working version of 4.1.2 available for the T989?
Thanks!
I have flashed most of the JB ROMs and I've had the best luck so far with PACman. I use BT and VoIP everyday. So far, it is my DD and I love it.
I've tried everything recently.... but think I am sticking with cm 10.0.0 for a bit. Until 4.2 is stable anyway. Can't say I personally have any issues with cm10 now.
Use TWRP and flash properly, you wont have any issues with JB roms.
So I was able to update my Sprint E4GT to CM11 although it didn't support WiMAX so I had to revert back to stock. I know 10.1 Cyanogenmod has worked for me in the past. Although, since it seems 10.1 is a bit out dated, many links seem to be dead and or spread out throughout the internet in random sites. Could anyone please provide me with good links to the files needed to go from the stock GINGERBREAD.EL29 to Cyanogenmod 10.1 and possibly walk me through it a bit? I tried using a stable build of 10.1.0 from the cm website but it gave me an error 7. Thank you so much for all your support I've received in the past, I'm hoping this goes through. P.S. I am rooted!

There are also numerous 4.2.2 AOSP ROMs in Android Development, including Slimbean, Pacman, Evervolv, Dirty Unicorns, AOKP, Vanilla Rootbox, and ReVolt [emoji106]
And status 7 error usually means you're using a too-old recovery. Use EL26CWM kernel/recovery to flash. There are plenty of tutorials here in this forum... You could start here

Thank you so much good sir! Once again, loving this community more than any other!
I've tried out many roms for my Sprint Galaxy S3 or better yet known as the (d2spr or d2lte series)
And i've made my choice of [trying] to get a Rom with
Stock Firmware with 4.4.2 or 4.4.4 - ND8 Bootloader - Rooted - Great Battery Life - Best Performance or Speed - No issues or Small amount of bugs - but that's just as fast as the LiquidSmooth Rom or Resurrection Remix Rom.
I've also tried a variety of kernels and most of them don't work or give me bootloops or just plainly don't have that "extra" boost i'm looking for like these roms listed.
Do you think you guys can help recommend me some roms or kernel combinations or configurations so i can get this type of rom i'm looking for?
I'm sorta n00b but i do have a great amount of knowledge to at least test it and set some settings but i would still need a tutorial or guide to do that, so anyways......
And or is their a possible Galaxy S5 Port for this GS3 ?
i've seen a few with the i900 or i9305 but i mean this has more ram and speed so why not port it?
also i've been thinking why doesnt a unified gs3 with i9305 rom work with this d2lte even tho its made for it, it doesnt makes some sense to me except that it has a different firmware or bootloader or service brand.....
Well, Thank you for reading this, please let me know, i'm trying to get the best experience i can with this phone and see what it can really do.

Oh i forgot to mention this is most of the information ive gotten with the kernels, it may not be accurate but at least you know.

I have a question, are any of the lolipop roms working fairly well on the 5110? And if so which ones?
Also if not what kitkat roms does anyone recommend?

Try Cm and Pac.
Both are stable and working well beyond the, "fairly well" level that you are looking for.
I just flash my 5110 w/ PACman Rom. It's ok. A little hiccups here and there.
CM 12.1 has been flawless for me.
Does S-Pen work with w/ PACman Rom?
