Remove status bar

Does anyone know if there is a way to completely remove the status bar in miui? I know you can in cm7 so I was wondering if anyone knew how or if we can?

Maybe try erasing the apk file? I'm not 100% sure though.

This would not remove it, it would just force close like crazy since it's integrated into framework.

By using another launcher, you can hide it.

Well that's why I want it removed is because I'm using launcher 7 and it doesn't look well with it. I can only hide it when I'm on my homescreen but once I open messaging or any other app it comes back

I made a couple last night but got bored because I suck at using Adobe Fireworks.
The Swirly one is from the internet somewhere (has a black background) which I ended up using in the end.
These are great but many if them have black backgrounds. Can't use them on different color backgrounds
Yeah all these don't work for me. All I see is a black square in the back

If you use a third-party launcher, just long hold the icon and press edit and then press on the icon and change it to the one you desire to change it to.

Google Search Force Close fix:
Long press the home screen, select Settings. Select Voice. Select Language to change the default. Change to another language, I choose English – UK. Hit Home. Do a Google Search. Repeat the first three steps. Change back to English – US

adding pages
Am I the only one that can't add more pages to the homescreen? I've tried dragging icons and widgets to the right, but seems like I'm limited to the one main page and the google now section to the left.

Google Search update 2/7/14

A bit of a surprise when I turned my phone on and my home screen's wallpaper changed.
And the app drawer 5 app workaround by chancing LCD Density no longer works.
Anybody else experiencing/ any work around besides reverting to older version?

Yes. Upsetting... I have one folder on screen and I like it in the center!!
On Nexus 5 but the only place where anyone has mentioned this.
I sometimes don't understand Google how they like to **** working things. Why do you even change app drawer and force me to have useless spaces between icons??
