What's your data usage?
Mine: 21 GB this month & have 4G coverage

I use 4 to 5 GB of cellular data (3G+4G) each month, on average. Mostly audio streaming (podcasts, music, etc) while I'm in the car (a lot) with some video streaming (sometimes during lunch), as well.
1-3GB a month on LTE, I prefer to be on my WiFi though.

When I tether my phone to my computer it works great. I get kicked off when I go to utube while watching HD videos. Well it doesn't kick me off it starts to buffer. can I get a kernal that would allow me to watch HD on utube?
Sent from my ADR6300 using XDA App
It's not really the kernel you are having trouble with as much as the 3g speeds..... 3g is bad for streaming videos it works when it wants to lol.... there is a lot more data to process when using hd and 3g just can't keep up

There really isn't a way to speed up your data if the services doesn't allow for higher speeds itself

Moving to a city with 4g is really the only option
Its all based on how many people are using the towers in your area and how much bandwidth is being pushed to those towers. You really can't do much.
Ii thanks guys

Ok so I'm confused about this and was wondering if anyone could help. I live in KC so I have Google fiber which is gigabit down and up. When I run a speed test I get between 10 and 20 Mbps down but I'm running 100 Mbps up every time. Now Google's router that ur forced to use for some ungodly reason is only wireless n and doesn't have ac which I can't understand either but can anyone help me understand why my upload and download speeds aren't the same?

Hi,
I have a rooted note 8 the is experiencing frequent data connection drops. It will connect for about 15 minutes and loses the data connection after.
I'm using droidwall along with onavo counter so I am suspecting that droidwall is the culprit. Anyone has similar experience?
Thanks

I did but it was my router replaced it with a dualband and started using 5 GHz.

I noticed that when i was using the note 2 n i was downloading using ttorrent i would get amazing speeds and now with the note 3 i get really horrible speeds.
Note 2 = 600kb to 1.3mb
Note 3 = 40kb to 150kb
Whats the verdict with that.

I haven't noticed any difference in my speeds. I'm pulling 3mb easy.. Signal and all are actually stronger.. Are your signals the Same as before? Could be a dead spot?

Torrent speeds have two variables.
1: Internet Speed
2: Seeder / leacher ratio.
If you have high amount of seeders, low leacher, you will have high speeds. Low seeder, high leacher, slow speeds and the download may not even complete.

I belong to private trackers so I get top speed, and I can confirm that my torrents download from 1.5MB/sec - 3MB/sec (depending on my LTE speed.)

People have been having issues with torrents, directly corresponding to KNOX and VPN's.
Use Titanium Backup and uninstall anything that includes KNOX and VPN then you should be fine.
I have confirmed 1mb-4mb dl speed with Ttorrent.
