i got this device 3 hours ago.. actually, its f180L and i converted it to 975 version.. can we flash custom roms on this phone.. like cm 10.1?

I have rooted and unlocked my bootlocker with TWRP. Can u tell me how you converted it from F180L to E975. can u... please provide me the ROM and the procedure please.. thanks

just learn to flash using KDZ flasher. Download the e975 ROM from LG download site.. Flash it. Root. And then Reflash f180L baseband

Dear sir, I am from myanmar. As you say I already learned how to flash kdz file. but I stuck at LG mobile support tool installation. and also our country sim card didn't work and only show emergency calls only , no signal. Before it is good and operational but I root and put myanmar font. phone is brick and recover and no signal.somebody says I need to unlock again ,is that right?could you pls answer question of a poor country man.

You can install any custom ROM made for e975 on your f180(like me) I suggest you pacman ROM. here is an external link for converting f180 to e975,safe and tested by me, I havnt any problem after using this,all networks working well,make sure about your model is s,k,l.go here

I flashed F80l's baseband . But didn't get network. So i flashed the Korea's kdz file. After that also i get the same error..

Flash f180l baseband and turn off your phone for a little while. Boot it up and wait for 5 mins. Seems to do the trick for me, dont know why though. Rebooting doesnt make it work.

Hey folks, just wanted to know is there a way to downgrade from 4.4.2 to 4.2.2?
I don't care about triggering the knox counter whatsoever.
Is it possible by rooting maybe?

I managed to downgrade 4.4.2TCL with knox 2.0 to 4.2.2.
was simple SamMobile I went to download the "ZTO-4.2.2-I9195UBUBNE2 Brazil" so Caribe; worked with this. Then just put in odin mode and 4.2.2 again.

I olso have a Samsung s4 mini i9195 with 4.4.2 and i want tio downgrade it can u tell me/write me step by step what to do?I just neade ODIN the firmware,coonect the handy start Odin and launch the application?Iì'm realy afraid to brick it or make something wrong.After if I want to go back to 4.4.2 I must upgraade only with ODIN and only with brasilian firmware?Or by handy i can upgrade or no?

For the german folks out there...
I managed to downgrade from stock KK 4.4.2 Firmware to JB 4.2.2 by using this Rom:

What method used to Downgrade I9190 ?
If the radio does not work you can download a ROM SamMobile that is their region.

i dont know exactly what you mean. I am newbie in flashing.
But i this helps, the android version is 4.4.2 and the kernel is 3.4.0.
The software version is: F180S30c
The software is untouched, and it has the factory defaults.

huh I don't know how to convert it for sure
You will need root. Probably towelroot works with that version.
Then backup your EFS with FreeGee app (find it on playstore). Transfer folder "efs_backups" from storage to pc to be safe.
In freegee app you can unlock bootloader (mako unlock) and install custom recovery (cwm) to flash custom roms.
Or you can use flash tool to change firmware of your phone.

You need the tot an dll for your model,or the kdz to flash back to stock. I have the files for the F460S nor the K so that won't work. There has to be someone who has the files on the forum. If you can't find them then lgbbs has the files but it costs money.
Anyone find the dlls or a way to move this model to an engliah version ? Stump root dont work for me cause i use this twice... And adb dont work for this model :crying: any h3lp ?

You can't flash a non F460 ROM to the F460 so that's a no. If you need the tot and DLL or kdz I have 3.

Mate could you help me, i wanted to remove a root from my device and i had twrp. i went to flash a new 30f kdz from LG up but it deleted my rooted kdz and now my phone is empty with twrp on it and i cant use lg up to flash anything

im currently downloading a .tot kitkat i think its kinda slow and ill try to use LGflashtool to flash it, i hope it will work as i can enter download mode. After that ill use LGup to flash 30f back. i hope that works :S
