I'm trying to install to Slim Bean and the installation is being aborted

HBoot: 1.73.0000
What to do with this?
1) Open the rom zip with an archiver, go to /META-INF/com/google/android/ and open updater-script using notepad or similar.
2) Edit the line checking the HBOOTs and add
Code:
|| getprop("ro.bootloader") == "1.73.0000")
Change 1.73.0000 to whatever your new HBOOT is. Make sure the ; is behind the part you've added.
3) Save the file and update it in the zip. You should be able to flash it now.

m cooking a rom which is just about to finish,
just gonna clean up things and bits , put some nice wallpapers and integrate an oc kernal..
my total idea of making this rom is to satisfy each ones need that will be done with two files X.zip and Y.zip
where X.zip will remain the same (which will be cooked and then changed according to what i feel might be correct reading the ideas of what you will post{as this is your rom its obv i will read your ideas thorougly} )
and Y.zip will be a second flashable zip which i will make one for each user using my rom. Y.zip wil be fully customizable and i wil mod it according to your need..
the cooking of y.zip will start from 3rd april but the X.zip will be completed till 1st april..
So guys here we go, you can post your ideas, ny changes advices nything you wish its all yours and dont be affraid to ask noob questoins.. ;) i being a chef do ask noob questions sometimes so i totally understand you..

NOw the PIMP(which means mod) in this bootanimation is..
there is a file named android_audio.mp3 in your root directory (not the in the zip)
what did i do for myself told my gf to record her voice saying
"Hello, Welcome to the journey of WILDFIRE S"
(yeah it feels amazing when you hear your gf/bf's voice.. )
and then converted into mp3 format and then renamed it to android_audio.mp3
and then flashed it..
So if you wish to do the same.. you can do so by the following methods.
1.

Open the flashable zip file.. go into system/customize/resource folder you will a bootanimation.zip drag your android_audio.mp3 there and then flash the zip file.. :D
2.
Code:
copy your android_audio.mp3 to sd card.. and then with a root explorer go to /system/customize/resource and delete the present android_audio.mp3 and then paste yours there..
I Dont know the proper name of that android_audio.mp3 it might be something else i doubt it.. will confirm it and let you know..
These zips are flashable.. flash direct from recovery..

I think .sense is a good example. Along with the aroma installer script you can include as many configurations as you want. No need to do a survey what to include. Just include everything the users propose at let them decide what to install.

I will be making two flashable zip the first zip will be the Rom n second zip will b the theme or costomization that the user wish..
In the first zip aroma will b there .. but aroma let's the user select the settings only once to change them the user will have to flash the Rom again n this might corrupt the user.data.. so I will b making second zip on request ..

I am thinkin to keep the kernals in the zip with aroma installer.. you can select a stable non oc kernal there .. n the when booted , go into the zip file into kernal folder and copy which ever kernal you wish and then flash it manually.. is that ok or you still want me to provide you with seprate zip file ?

CM7 would be nice but to be honest wouldn't it be better if more devs concentrate in CM9 and others that use it as a base?
eventhough i think cm7 can expand our choice for custom rom, still i agree with "Just Another★Gamer". cm9 already exist for our device, so maybe it better for us to focus on developing it to be perfect

we're all know that our devs in cm9 works hard for the camera and kernel and other things for cm9..
but we still need cm7 for our device..it's not complete if we dont have that rom

I've problems with some chip
Hi so I tried flashing the new PACman all in one rom today, and usually I don't have problems with flashing roms but I had an error today.
This is what it said on my CWM:

Most likely a bad download or bad wipe.
Redownload rom again on a PC, xfer to sdcard, full wipe and reflash

I've tried again but it's having the same problem... plus it should be the right device because I have the SGH-T989.
What version of CWN do you have? You may need to use the Darkside Super Wipe scripts.
DO NOT USE THE DARKSIDE SUPER WIPE ON CWM v6! (just incase)
If you have v5 CWM, then the wipes are broken.

Whats interesting is I'm already on a Custom ROM Wildchild 3..and now I cannot change and the error I'm getting is

You have a ROM for a different model of WFS. Check if it's a marvel, marvelc or marvelct

I assume my one's is "marvel" and not "marvelc" as I've already installed Wildchild 3.0 which was made for "Marvel"

if you are on windows then using winrar open your rom zip then naviate to META-INF -> com -> google ->android then open updater script with your editor , notepad or notepad++ , delete this line from top

Yeah..this one worked out..but there's one problem again..
I'm unable to install few ROM's using TWRP and some using CWM...why is it?
The trouble they are making is the bootscreen says there forever..
Any explaination to think of?

Hi guys,
I am trying to downgrade to CM10.2 TeamCanjica from CM11 Mclaw version but I get Status 7 error. I've installed CM11 over CM10.2. I never had problem flashing CM10.2 from TeamCanjica before. I guess something in CM11 is different and does not allow me to downgrade.
I've searched on forums but found nothing that works.. Even checked the build.prop file. Under ro.product.model i have GT-I8160.
Any solutions?

Delete all BEFORE
mount("ext4", "EMMC", "/dev/block/mmcblk0p3", "/system");
Or something like that. It should have a [mount("ext4"]

Perhaps you deleted less then what you had to/you deleted more

I deleted three lines which I get error.
As well as bad EOL delimiters, this may also be due to a problem in the script itself. There could be a missing ";" at the end of a line, or you have opened a quoted string " or brackets ( without closing.
