CM9 + ICS + Sense 4

I am having CM7 with android 2.3 ..would like to change to CM9 with ICS plus sense 4 style on my wildfire. Can anybody suggest a thread or CM9 + ICS + Sense 4 links..

Did you even try looking in the development section?

Looks like someone can explain me what is the difference between ics and cm9

U can install rem rom. It has sense 4 style but it' s 2.2.1 version btw great rom

[Q] Help, keeps restarting

Hello to all.
Need some help here,my phone keeps restarting randomly.
Revolutionary

TOUCH PANEL - SYN3KY_01

Try a different rom like rempuzzle cm7.2 etc

Dont think any problem in that. Which recovery r u using ? Cwm 4.x ?
Maybe reflash radio. (See wildfire index ) for that.

U haven't ext partition. Rem puzzle needs it. Try first official cm 7.2 and if it won't restart then that's the issue

I use cwm v4.0.1.4
..i did first full format ,then ext3 after install rom..

What are you doing when these restarts occur? One thing more, do you overclock? If yes then upto what extent?

nothing just restarts...i do not overclock...

Thats wierd. You can try reflashing radio but I dont know if that can help.

I did try RemPuzzle - CM 9.1 v3 noaroma - COSG3 by Nino90 - all same problem..restart randomly
Now i have for 24 hours RUU_Buzz_Froyo_HTC_WWE_2.22.405.1_Radio_13.55.55.24H_3.35.20.10_release_160191_signed
i did full format sd card and installed and no restarts now
just need to root the rom..

Now to gain root i have to flash again an rooted Rom correct?

[Q] ICS cm9 kernel

Edited: Is there any kernel for ics cm9 that we can flash?
Because i had few problems with kernel when changing frequencies etc.

First off, CM10 isn't ICS, it's JB aka Jellybean, ICS is CM9 (Android 4.0)
What kind of problems were you having?

O really i wrote that lol i thought cm9. Was bit in rush. I had like freq. Stay on max or on same freq when changing governor...

Sorry I read this wrong. I thought that it was for a CM7 rom. If I'm correct I don't think your wi-fi is going to work. All you need to do is either flash another kernel or factory reset

ohkey Didnt flash anyway

It works very well in CM7 rom but as you said you want a kernel with good battery life and the infinity play is a bit of a drainer but you can always tweak those settings for a better battery life.

My wifi is not working after flashing this kernel on Orion Rom by Wasimk32.
It just wont switch on.
Somebody Help, a noob here.

it won't work because it is created only for GB roms. kernel included in ics roms is the best so far...

If you want to revert to your old kernel, search for the zip you flashed (of your rom), take out boot.img and paste it into your adb/fastboot folder, reboot your buzz to bootloader, connect to pc and get a fastboot usb status on your bootloader, check connection with pc with cmd -
HTML:
fastboot devices
If it's recognized, head over and type
HTML:
fastboot flash boot boot.img
Else, if you have a nandroid backup of when you started using the rom, head to advanced restore and restore the boot partition.

I would recommend GB for speed.
Change your launcher to launcherpro or adw launcher
Overclock to 729-352 with smartassv2 governor

Flash cronmod int2ext on any cyanogenmod rom.
I recommend mini cm7 or an odexed cyanogenmod.
Delete bloatware.
Use v6.
Change keyboard to ics keyboard.
Flash some scripts like loopy smoothness, turbo boost, slaidy boost..
Your device will fly!

Link in my signature.
Antway v6 is not a flashable zip. Its a script, run it via script manager(google play)
Others are flashable zips, I prefer turbo + slaidy on any ROM.
just in case there is a bootloop(1%) reflash the rom and ur done.
Overclocking doesnt require s off. Just a kernel that supports it. Almost all custom roms have modded kernel that supports overclocking.
Also on cyanogenmod go to settings/cm settings/performance and adjust these settings

i have been and old user but have now registered after long time cause i could not find any answer in rem puzzle rom thread.
My question is I cannot mount sd ext in rem puzzle 3.0, which i had partioned using Recovery method.
I could do it in 2.83 but cannot in 3.0.
i tried link2sd, dark temor a2sd gui, mount2sd, just would not recognise my sd-ext.
also a new problem cropped up, i guess that after i Flashed CronMod-INT2EXT_signed.zip, i cannot go past the htc white screen after flashing rem 3.0 (rem would not boot).
Atleast at first(before Flashing CronMod-INT2EXT_signed.zip) it would take me to rom working properly but now not even that it sits at htc white screen.
also can you guys give me links like turbo boost and others as such which will help me to speed up my willy, cause i am running mini cm7 now cause rem won't install and the problem is (haven't checked with mini cm7 though) after installing apps the rom would slow down.
some details of my willy
Recovery 4.0.1 or 4
radio 3.55 one
using custom mdt with CronMod-INT2EXT_signed.zip in mini cm7.

Sd ext is installed by default.
If it isnt working, replace darktremor folder from a previous build. Also replace anything under system/etc/init.d relating to app(/s), partitions, their name suggests.
Never flash int2ext on sense rom since they are double the size(allocation problems).

Build MIUI based on CM or latest 4.1.1/4.2.2 Sense base and then upload it here. We don't need this old base - it is a bit laggy :/

+1 The V5 is great, bugs are gone , but yes, the Sense 4.1.1 (this is the first 4.1.1 Sense base on official MIUI...) is really laggy... Need a newest 4.2.2 Sense or 4.2-4.3 CM base. If anyone have a time and make a port I want to be a tester.

hi i cant use touch screen after installing this rom.
however, i installed the boot.img which is in zip file.
what is the problem?

Try Alex Kernel, 1.6 should work without problems

thanks, i used "Alex-V_SE_2.3_RC" kernel. Now MIUI runnig normally.
But i stop using this rom because, it is laggy and jb 4.1.1..

In sense based roms i the 4.1.1 is faster a bit then the 4.2.2. I think the Sense base is the problem, not the android version. The fastest MIUI's are CM based all the time, others are laggy But in Sense based roms the camera and audio is better, so...

Even if it's slower(I think it is much faster) Sense 5 have much more free RAM - I got up to 500MB free. You can't do this with 4.1.1 base.
