[Q] Rom Variants

Hi All,
Quick question is it possible to use any rom from any note 2 variant. Like say using an international rom on Tmobile, or ATT rom on TMobile note Ect..

You can use the roms from the N7105, but not the N7100. The roms from the AT&T version should work as well, with a modem flash for TMO.

My advice would be to read thru some of the threads before starting another one. Your answer is already there, laziness here leads to bricks and flames. Good day to you.

Also FYI maybe if there was a main thread with all that info that would be easier to look at, just like the international version has a thread like that.

Modem flash advice while roaming...?

Hello,
I am using my Australian S3 4G model handset with VodaAu sim card, currently I am connected to AT&T and my reception is unstable, this is the same while using T-Mobile. I would like to flash my modem with a version that others on at&t are using to resolve my issues...
Will this help?

Some digging on my part suggests the phone you have is probably the i9305, not the i747. You might want to go over here to ask your question, look for modems, etc.

It is the i9305 gt model yes, but the modems should be the same?

[Q] modem sgh-i317 at&t

Hi all
I bought a GN2 Sgh-i317 at&t I unlock to use overseas with other carrier
The Modem function doe not work at all.
How to fix it?
I also would like to errase all at&t aps & setting from the phone

please detail as much as possible the answer as i never done any manipulations on my devices

I would suggest talking to the carrier that you are trying to use to give you the correct carrier settings.

Hi I't what I did first I I had to change the sim size (previous GS II, which modem was working)
I've checked again just before posting this question, all seems to be Ok from them
The message is " Non available data or non valid sim"
I've seen on forums that the at&t modem is locked for at&t network only
May only the phone setting is unlocked but not the modem ones?
Or should I flash and other Rom (Noterious or n7105?

As read on few forums, it looks like the AT&T modem is looked, even if the phone is unlooked...
I'm looking to flash int'l modem (7105?) on the sgh-i317

Hi
I've rooted the phone and install the ULTIMATE ROM # N7105XXDMF2 , by miscom, with the base bande I317UCAMC3 and it works great & the battery life is increase by 3 minimum !!!
I haven't checked the speed as here we've got a very low flow (2Mo...)
When installing, do not load the AT&T CSC
I have'nt load the AT&T VVM (Visual Voice Mail) neither

im sorry if this question was answered before. but i read some posts and couldn't find an answer. well my question is i have a galaxy s3 i747m lte telcel mexico and i would like to use a different rom because this one ugly i would like to try detmobilized or s3rx from enewman and loserskater
but im not sure if can i don't want to brick my phone. if anyone can help me on this ill be happy and ready to flash a new rom. thanks

You can indeed use either of these. Your model (747m) is identical to the ATT model(747) Any ROM that works on the ATT model will be compatible. One thing worth noting is that there is no longer update support for the De-tmobilized ROM.

Why does my Note II have a different model name?

I want to install CM 12 in my phone but my model is different. ( sgh1317m )
What's the difference between the normal Note II and this one? I read somewhere it's Canadian.
Will CM12 still work if I install it in my model?

That's AT&T branded model. You have to search thread with CM12 to know if you can flash it, but I doubt it, like N7100 and N7105 - you have 2 different sections for each model, so read before you do something.
