HELLKAT for the SONY XPERIA M
HellKat is CM11 based with a completely redone beautiful Holo Red theme. You'll probably notice a difference between HellKat and CM nightlies (or the virgin AOSP builds) due to the LINARO 4.8 toolchain we use to compile the ROMs. HellKat was first created by DerTeufel during Jellybean and was called Hellybean. We now support several devices and with a new build server we will be able to bring this beautiful ROM to even more devices. If you have another device supported by CM you more than likely can build HellKat for your other device. We have a nice build script so that the hardest part of building HellKat is setting up Ubuntu and an Android developing environement. Checkout our sources at https://github.com/Hellybean/android

1) Please denote your ORIGINAL DEV here........and AFAIK pecancm has given permission to all to build 4.4 rom. And if you are talking about vishal well i don't think there is a need to ask for permission.
2) For your question of new thread you can see the alpha 1 features and this beta 1 features if it doesn't satisfy you, you can report it to mods.
3) Another reason for setting up a new thread is i am not going to leave this project on beta 1 ill continue development as far as i could.

Anybody could test playing music and switching tracks? Every non-stock rom for Xperia has problems with sound and crackles. I would love to use this one if it's fixed here.

The official not working with 5.1.1. but i havent tested the unofficial xposed version.

Looks nice but no phone radio or wifi. Installation instructions above were followed exactly. Wrong modem perhaps?

I can confirm that,in my case WiFi cannot turn on after I rebooted my phone,but data network is always fine.

Install This ROM Using It For Few Hours.... Wifi And Everything Is Working Perfectly Fine.... Install About 30 Apps Feel Much Smoother Than Other ROMS.
Kudos To Developer.. Keep It Up.
Note : After 2 Reboots Wifi Not Working.

It just looks like any other lp rom
It has a lot of features, like RR or Aicp for instance.

Running for 3 days now.
No big issues so far also WiFi working fine, just as normal as any other lp rom.
Surprisingly few apps pretty installed, which is great.
I love the pie controls, I've really missed them
Although on energy save mode it's still fast and smooth. seems pretty battery friendly also.
My new first choice rom!

yes, i have the same probleme with all CM 5.1.1 base ROM, for me the 5.1.1 is not stable for the moment.

Yes! What @wifestealer told is true! The ROM already offers lot of features. Moreover we can customize the looks of status bar and navigation bar by applying different themes and do lot more using the CM theme manager!
We can report for bugs which the dev can rectify, but adding new features to an official ROM is not in his hands!

Good ROM!
I used this ROM for about 2 days.
Found no major bugs. Offers good performance. Happy to see a ROM so fluid in it's initial build.
Feature packed to fulfill all the expectations for a custom ROM!
However faced the following issues:
Battery drains fast. I got around 3 - 3.5 hrs of SOT. The standby battery drain was also around 8%.
Gallery FC while changing WhatsApp DP (I'm not sure if this issue was only for me).
Thanks Team-Radium for such a good ROM! Expecting battery optimizations in the upcoming builds!

Have battery issues been solved? I've just installed it in my new moto G. As far a i'm concerned battery life of moto g 2014 vs moto g 2013 is a little bit less, therefore i don't know what to expect.
btw I used this Rom as my dailiy driver in my old moto G great work.

Hello, I 've just installed the new version. No problems at the moment, for the battery I will tell tomorrow after using it.
The system runs fast and smooth, at startup it tells that there is an update, even if I have the latest version.

Today I 've not used the phone so much... however here is some battery stats

I'm not able to post screenshots yet, XDA says that I must have posted at least 10 times.
Anyways, I just wanted to report battery backup. I'm not a heavy user and this rom gave me at least 4:40 hrs. SOT. I started my day at 6 am and went to bed around 1 am.

GPS locking : Fine and accurate
Camera Working ( CM 12): working without any issues.

Is there a way to fix the mobile signal? I can't seem to get reception of my provider on xt1562 o2 germany.

I'm sure it'll fail, but can you try making a call on speakerphone? People can't hear me on any ROM that is cm based. Just curious if it's all across the board.

Are you sure GPS works and not just WiFi and cellular based location? Because all cm based roms have the gps bug.

Okay I flashed the modem of the european firmware via fastboot. Still no signal on my device. Does anybody have a clue? Do I have to flash the whole image?
Also flashed the whole image. still no success.

I could make some fixes with logs if you can provide them I will try but if CM tree merges it, then it is gonna be easier

Full Day observations :
frequent reboot while multi tasking observed( problem is 5.1.1 built tree, same issue with most devices running on 5.1.1 custom built).
notification flash light found ( Very bright for notification), seems we got front camera flash which is not mentioned in technical specs.

It works on XT1562 dual sim or not?

Is there any chance for mm build

GPS does NOT work. Location from wifi/cellular works fine, but when any app requests my location from gps my phone crashes and resets itself.
Other than that it seems to work well for me.
But I need GPS because I use google maps a lot.... I think I will /uninstall now unless there is a solution....

First of all its a TWRP Nandroid Backup restore error .
Make sure you have enough space in internal storage to restore your backup and if error comes in installation process which is strange then you have issue with your system partition .

Hi guys. hope you're fine.
First of all thank you sskr_ and Mark V for providing this custom rom for our device. without the effort of you guys we would have not tasted Nougat(7.1):highfive:
The rom is rock solid STABLE. Everything works fine.
have used it for 3 days. have not encountered FC's or restart or freezing.:highfive:
RAM management is good.
Battery backup is good.
Multitasking is good.
MAGISK is inbuilt. Many ROM makers are now moving towards rootless builds. wonder you have magisk inbuilt.
Substratum app comes Pre-installed.
There are many Customization options available in this rom.
Have installed nearly 80 apps so far and i get around 390mb of free RAM on boot.
Some of my points:
Guys the boot animation looks like a symbol which might summon some evil spirit. just joking guys. Need some pleasing boot animation guys.
Had some issues in downloading apps from playstore at first, even though i was connected to WIFI the apps didn't start to download. after few rebooting the issue was solved and now it is working successfully.
guys need clear all button in recents screen. clear all option is available but it is at the top right of the screen.
make a clear all icon and place it in the bottom right of the recents screen.
in future builds add many customisation options.
Once again thank you guys for the wonderful rom. wish you all success in the future endeavors.

Hey! Awesome ROM dev. Thanks a lot.
I got one problem though. I'm not able to install Greenify4Magisk module from Magisk Manager. After flashing the module and rebooting I see nothing in the modules section.
Any help?

I tried to install this same version only, wasn't successful. None of the modules are installing. Not even iOS enoji.
