sdhc card type - LG Optimus G Pro

I want to buy an sdhc card for my g pro. I had a look at many different cards and I am not exacty interested in brands. I would like to know if the g pro is compatible with the new UHS-1 cards. Is it worth buying one of those or the phone won't benefit from the extra speed and I'm better off buying a class10 card ?

Biggest Micro Card?

Whats the biggest micro card this phone will support. Are 32gb / 64gb even made?
i ordered this 16gb one, if there are 32 or 64 i want to know too
Kingston Technology SDC2/16GB 16 GB microSDHC Class 2 Flash Card
At the moment the largest card is 16GB.
16g is the largest, but 32g is coming out soon. My guess is that they will be quite expensive and no word on speed. While the class (speed) is in write mode only, it does make a difference when using the camera or writing files to the card.
I got a Ridata 16gig Class 6 microsd three days ago and works great!

The largest Rhodium supports is 32GB.
SDHC specs out at 32GB max.
I think only a few companies make 16GB Class 6 cards. Transcend being one of them. I don't think you can get 32GB ones just as yet and no way you can get a Class 6 one anyway.

and i think before they release 32gb SDHC they'll go the SDXC way with 64 & 128gb model.
if you plan on getting a Transcend card for use with a GSM TP2, be careful. There have been reports of Transcend cards not working well with the TP2. I personally experienced it, when my Class 6 8GB card would randomly disappear from the phone, or when music would skip during playback. Switched to a Sandisk Class 2 8GB that came with my BB Storm, and haven't experienced a single problem.
And also, note that the Transcend card worked great in my BB Storm, BB Bold 9700, LG Incite and Samsung BJII before this. Nothing wrong with the card, just with the TP2.
16gb is the largest built. 32gb is the largest theoretical that sdhc supports. youll need sdxc for more than that. i wonder if rhodium will support this in the future. old htc devices (and samsung) that could only do regular sd that capped at 4gb could do sdhc with a rom/driver update. sdxc supports up to 2tb which will be interesting to see.
The 32g microsd is long over due. Every so often there will be a press release that the 32 will be release within the next month or so. The projected time frame will come and go. There was a PR stating that 64g was in the works.
if a 32gb microsd card is sold i will buy it. i have an 8gb and could get a 16gb surprisingly cheap but i wont buy a stop gap knowing a 32 might be out soon.
I just got my 16gb no name cheapie from hong kong micro sd card for my tp2 in the mail. I spent numerous hours setting it up with the programs I wanted on it music and such. I had used it for about an hour or so and all the sudden the phone went crazy.. somehow the card corrupted it self im guessing cause the phone no longer recognized it or anything on it.. I removed the card and put it in my card reader to my laptop nothing was on it but a mess of folders all with the name ".." I thought maybe I had done something wrong so I formatted it and tried again. same thing happened the next day. I now reverted back to my 8gb sandisk and havent had any problems with it.. I guess its a get what you pay for kinda deal. Maybe there is something I can do I would think flash memory is flash memory but I guess they have their diffrences. Just wanted to share my .02 on my experience I would like to get another 16gb because bigger is better but ill wait it out and see what is to come next.
Biggest MicroSD Card
Sandisk 64GB SDXC formatted Fat32 works.. recognised as 60871.23MB under Settings > System > Memory and by Total Commander File Manager.

32GB microSDHC - Will it work in TP2?

SanDisk ships 32GB microSDHC card for $200
Just curious what the actual limit is of our Touch Pro 2's SD card slot. Currently i have an 8gig in it, but want a bigger one. Thought about 16gig's but would like to put all my music on it.
Also, how fast can the sd slot go? Does it support class 6+ cards?
I believe the Rhodium can handle class 6 cards. but im not 100% sure.
Its max is 32gb.
I was gonna purchase one. But way back when i got my phone 32gb cards didn't exist lol
I've got a Sandisk Class 2 16GB at the moment and its absolutely fine
Pack full of music

That 64gb card you're looking at is not microSDHC. It is microSDXC. The SDHC (with the micro part included) only allows for up to 32gb in capacity by specification. If you see something larger labeled as a SDHC card, be weary about purchasing it.
This is not to say the Inc2 doesn't support larger capacities. The SD standard is pretty flexible. If HTC didn't cheap out too much it MIGHT be able to read a SDXC card at SDHC speeds (SDXC also has some speed updates in the specification). However, HTC says this thing uses microSDHC so it's probably a good bet that you should stick with SDHC cards.

Whats the best Memory card for S3

I just got my S3 (United States) and and tried 3 (YES 3) Lexar 32 GB Class 10 cards and every one of them have failed. I called Lexar, they say to have my firmware upgraded. Went to Sprint and verified everything is fine with the phone. The cards won't work in other phones at Sprint Either. Before buying another card I'd like to know from you guys which one out there will work with no problems, speed, and size is important for me. I know I'll be using more memory than the 32gb in the future. I called Sandisk and they recommended their SDSDQUA-032G Ultra 32 Class 10 and said it would work. Sprint says they know the Class 6 works in the S3.
I'd like more than 32gb. and fast write & Read speeds.
Can I get some great recommendations from you before I buy another piece of crap. Two weeks now and I still don't have a working card. Lucky I have Amazon prime membership.

I use a 32gb Sandisk Class 10 SDHC Card, this thing works. Problem with anything bigger then 32gb is that you have to use sdxc and this is only really compatible in fat32 or exfat, for both you have to format the card before inserting into the phone.
Try the SanDisk 32gb Mobile Ultra UHS-1 because it's cheaper than normal class 10 Mobile Ultra and just as fast, and I've been using it a while with no problems.
I am quite happy with my Sandisk Ultra 64GB SDXC. No issues at all.
What do I need to format

I would like the larger size. What would I need to format the bigger size. I wouldn't have a problem with that if I had some detailed instructions.
Thanks.
Sandisc Ultra 64gb micro sd xc1
Sandisc Ultra 64gb micro sd xc1 was my choice and its worked well over the last 4 years. Its the phone that has bricked after Little use in October 27/2016. Changed the battery it needed it. Now its bricked.
I have a SanDisk but I was told that SanDisk aren't good for Samsung S3's
Hello,
I'd recommend the Toshiba Exceria memory card, either with 16, 32 or 64GB. This card is a class 10 card with UHS 3. Although the S3 can't use the full speed of the micro SD, this is a well working combination.
Has anyone tried 128gb sdcard ?
I plan to buy,
Transcend Premium 400X 128GB CLASS10 SDHC/SDXC UHS-1, and just wondering if it work

I'm using a 128gb card from lexar on it and works fine..
(mine's the i747m just to clear it up...)
I have the SanDisk 64GB ultra sdxc or whatever it's called. It works very well with no issues and I have 1,000+ pictures stored on it with about 30 videos.
Quick question. Would a SD card and adoptable storage on a ROM be a good solution for the Samsung device?
Yes, a SD card is always good, especially for backups

purchase the right Micro sd card

could you tell me what Micro sd card you guys are using,I am fixing to buy one and want to make sure I get the right one,,will this one work
http://www.sandisk.com/products/memo...?capacity=64GB
the micro sd xc is what I am looking at,I appreciate your help thanks
I have a Sandisk class 10 64GB works great
get the fastest and highest capacity your money can buy, on the Note 2 64gb is the limit of external memory.
Im using the 64GB class 10 and its working great. There is an extreme pro available but only comes up to 16GB which is a shame considering transfer speeds are 3 times that of the class 10 one.
64
Im gonna buy the sandisk ultra micro sdxc 64 gb card, thanks for all yalls help...

you know, they with the older phones they always listed 32GB as the maximum, but when 64 came out it worked on many of them. I would bet money that when the 128GB cards hit they will still work with this phone.
