I think you're in the wrong forum
Try this forum as it is dedicated for Verizon Samsung Galaxy Note II
http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=1884
Be cafeful with flashing, not all ROMs work on all versions, some ROMs are made for specific version of a Note II.
Always read and read, don't leave anything. Just to be safe
Are you coming from an aosp rom? Iirc correctly that can give issues. Is your sd card working Ok have you checked the md5 of the files you've dl?
Just throwing stuff out to see if anything sticks

So long as it has the same chip set and same partition tables. We can not flash international roms cause of that reason, read and check... in theory, it should be just like our phones.

Ok thanks no flashing tonight happy thanks giving to all
Considering the similarities between the domestic variants of the Note 2 and their international counterparts, would anyone be willing to test some of the success that the folks over in the AT&T forum have had with porting the international N7100/N7105 firmware/ROM's over to the T-Mobile Note 2
Check out these two threads over in the AT&T forum and see what you all think:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2016575
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2018411
The basic gist of the procedure is to use a custom recovery like CWM or TWRP to flash a stock N7100/N7105 firmware, and then flash your carrier specific modem/kernel.
Why would anyone want to do this? Well, for starters, you would benefit from built-in stock-supported tethering, and a few other features that carriers disable (YMMV). But mainly this means that the domestic versions of the Note 2 can benefit from the development of the international versions! So, when the latest version of Android comes out for the rest of the world, we aren't stuck here waiting for our carrier to catch up to everyone else...
So what do you all think? Anyone willing to try?
I have see this post on att

Actually, there is a port of cm10 for the ATT Note 2 device, it was ported from the official cm10 for the N7100 device by madmack. I'm running it on the T-Mobile Note 2 and to tell you the truth, it is very stable so far even if it's coming from a nightly build. Check out this link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2024495.
Once you go to that link, go to page 24 or 25 because you need to download 3 zip files in order for the rom to function correctly, also make sure to download the modem or radio because you need to flash that as well. Before you flash anything make sure to go to the OP for that rom and follow instructions thoroughly. If you're concerned for the S Pen functionality, don't worry, it works, I just had to download an app from the play store called Memo (which doest the same stuff as S Note.
Well if you wanna try, I don't have the time but .....
Here is some stuff to help you..
Do a Nandroid backup. or Titanium backup.
Do a full wipe,
Flash the rom you want, if given the option don't flash the modem
then flash Jedi-X Kitchen http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2106549
Then if you had to flash another Modem for that Rom then flash http://downloadandroidrom.com/file/GalaxyNote2/tmoroms/JediX/T889V_Modem.zip if that fist your PHONE (tmO)
I may do a video on it in Youtube if i get time but the omega rom was just taking too long to download so i am not trying it tonight.
I am going to flash Jedi X
Nite...
See you on yTube. http://bit.ly/YT-DL-SG

I just tried this, and while the Omega ROM flashed just fine, I had no radio signal, no data, no calls, and the phone would not recognize my SIM Card. That is after flashing the Jedi Kitchen and the radio provided in the link.
The Omega ROM looks pretty awesome, it would be nice to have it working on TMO Note II's.
Disclaimer:
I have to admit, I've flashed 4 different ROM's so far, and only two of them have completed the install. The rest have failed during the update, or caused a boot cycle. This includes the Jedi Master ROM. So it's entirely possible I'm doing something wrong.

ROOT BOX is an ATT ROM that works well
CARBON NIGHTLY | KROZ HUE THEME | CRACK FLASHER
It is actually posted in the n7100 that all roms need to be ported to us carriers and gives procedures on how to do so
Not saying the guys in the posts before mine are wrong but need to be careful when flashing n7100 roms without porting them the proper way

Hey did you ever try a complete wipe using TWRP as your recovery factory wiping then system wiping as well, I Also found depending on your SD card if you can back up your Sd cards Sometimes it is helpful to start with just the files you need to flash on the sd. Make sure that you only flash the correct radio. For me that was the latest radio I think its the second down in the list for the jedi kitchen part.
Feel free to contact me but I am very busy so I apologize ahead of time for being slow.
Can anyone answer if 4G and LTE is still working or is it 3G only? Are you able to still roam the same?
Hi, i have this phone...
GT-N7100
Android: 4.1.5
Baseband: N7100ZCALH3
Kernel: 3.0.13-93991
Build: JRO03C.N7100ZCALH40
The GPS do not work and i want to install another rom.(i think it has something to do with the rom, its a china rom i think.)
Downloaded Odin Mobile and i get an error : A compatible device was detected but with an unexpected partition layout. Mobile odin cannot operate. This is a common error on CM and MIUI ROMs on some devices
I have never tried flashing a rom to a android phone before, and must say i am pretty "green"..
I really hope on some help
If you need additional info, i will provide anything you need... JUST want this phone to work 100%

I root with kingo because cannot enter dload mode. Then I install mobile Odin
And it says ..but with an expected partition layout. How I going to solve this
I think that in practice what you are trying to do is install a ROM that is made for SG Note 2 to your phone, that's not a Note 2... Hopefully it gave an error and it wasn't possible because if your phone did flash the ROM, I think that you would end up with a bricked China Note 2 instead of a working one
Mine is I think original Samsung Galaxy Note II or the least recond bcoz I checked at the back Samsung made in Korea assembled in china and comes with warranty. And FYI I would like to flash cwm ROM and flash 4.2+ like jellybean or kitkat sir but I just can't enter download mode but I didn't yet used adb download mode bcoz its very big to download man.half a gig.Thanksgiving

Yes you can flash N7105 ROMs on your T889. They're pretty much the same phone just the N7105 is the international version. Pretty much any ROM you see for t0lte is safe to flash on N7105/ T-Mo/AT&T Note 2's. There is a list of ROMs in the dev section also. Just make sure you always have a backup of your current ROM in case you run into any trouble.

If the rom does not have a option to retain your current radio.. after you flash the rom . you will have to flash the correct t- mobile radio ..
So read the OP Post carefully in that rom thread. or ask the op about this..There have been people say they have lost imei number due to incorrect radio.. So understand what you are doing first..
If your not experienced with android and so on. Its SAFER TO STAY With roms in the development area of this forum... Thou some in the other forums do state to work with what your asking..
Its not always the same for every rom. so there is really not a true yes or no answer to the question..
as said above they will all work.. but might need modem change

Yeah any ROM for t0lte is going to be AOSP, which is pure Google I.e. nexus devices. AOSP ROMs dontn have spen features or multi window features. So if you want those features and want an international based ROM I suggest JediX 16. It can be found in the Dev thread here. It's Samsung TW so it has all the functionality you need and had the latest N7105 4.1.2 base. So check it out. Hope I didn't confuse you.

Help, my phone does not like the 4.4.2 version. The day I got the OTA 4.4.2 update my phone started to freeze when locked, especially overnight. I keep my phone on all night and would wake up in the morning to find it is not!
In order to try and fix the first ROM I installed was liquidsmooth's 4.4.4. I did NOT have ANY issue with it but I missed a lot of the Samsung and Note 2 features. I tried to install the DN3 V5 (after some issues I finally got it) and it is doing the same thing as the stock ROM. Which leads me to believe there is something in the 4.4.2 version that my phone does NOT like.
I'm trying to avoid downgrading to an older ROM! Anyone have any suggestion on a ROM that is newer then 4.4.2 and has Samsung and Note 2 features?

To be honest I did not try it and I don't think I will. I've installed too many different ROMs for 4.4.2 and all of them cause the crash. I reverted back to the DN3 v3.1.1 and have not had any crashes since. I noticed there is a DN3 V3.2 but can't seem to find a download for the N7105 (specifically the i317,).
Does anyone know if the v3.2 was built for the N7105/i317m?

Just an FYI. Roms for n7105 will NOT work for i317m. These are two completely different phones. Yes they both go under the name note 2 but they aren't the same. One is the Canadian version and the other is international. To find roms for your phone try to find them for t0lteatt or sgh-i317m nothing else will work.
Please confirm the model number of your phone by going to settings > about device.

You are correct they are two different phones however many ROMs that are for the N7105 also work on the i317m but you do need to make sure that it says it's compatible. I.e. I'm currently using the DN3 v3.1.1 N7105 installed as N7105 per the flashing instructions and it works flawlessly.
