What do you mean Fieldtest?
I have my orbit 3 months now, flashed may different roms.
I love it, great piece of tech.
Is that what you mean?

Hallo Shadoe,
ich habe gesehen, dass Du in Deutschland arbeitest. Mit dem Fieldtest meine ich natürlich den Netmonitor. Gibt es Versionen den Netmonitors, die der xda Orbit unterstützt oder die auf ihm funktionieren? Wenn ja, wo kann ich diese herbekommen?

Ich habe da mal so eine Frage, und zwar: Wisst ihr, ob T-Mobile bzw. die Telekom ein Branding fuer ihre GNex Geraete rausbringen wird? Das wuerde mich mal interressieren, weil ich doch ein Fan des Stock ROMs bin... Aber ohne Telekom Branding finde ich das Geraet ein bisschen Schade, da ich doch recht haeufig die Telekom Apps benutze, wie z.B. Mobile TV, Navigon Select und das Mediencenter...
Ich bitte euch, mir per E-Mail zu antworten, oder per PN, wenn ihr mir auf deutsch antwortet, ich bin ja schliesslich halber deutscher, also verstehe ich alles was ihr sagt

I'm just asking, if you know, whether the german telecom is going to provide a stock branding for the GNex, because I am pretty much a fan of ICS Stock ROMs, with root etc...
I'm asking because I love to use t-apps, like e.g. mobile TV, navigon select and media centre...
And without the branding, my phone just feels like I bought it in a shop, and I don't like this feeling...
Again; if you want to answer me in german (which I only ask, if you speak fluent german, or you are german) via e-mail or PM.
This is so no-one gets upset, while reading german answers only...
English answers please ONLY per post!
If the german part is a problem to the admins, please let me know, I will take it out!
If not, I will leave it, and hope for some good answers

Did you get a solution for this problem or some help to hide/fake custom rom for Mobile TV by Telekom?
My problem is, i am using the newest Paranoid Android Custom Rom for my GNex. Everytime i am starting the App, ill get an error, that only the original Firmware is needed to run this app.
Need help, please

This thread is over two years old. I don't have my Gnex anymore. I've since had a GS III and I'm currently driving a GS 4.
My Gnex died shortly after this thread I think.
By the way; you should've opened a new thread. This one is dead and dead again.

I doubt it. You'll have to call them under the number 2202 and ask. But don't say you're rooted, just tell them you can't access their apps.

My problem is that i am using Congstar as Carrier (provider). They r using the telecom network, but i am not sure if i can contact tmobile with my Congstar contract? I want to pay this service!!!

If you're on the Congstar network, you can't use Telekom apps. It doesn't work that way.

to all non developers.. please dont post threads in the developer section if you are not developing, especially when you are telling rom developers what to do or not do. this would go into the general section.

Are you sure the problem isn't the way in which user apps are installed with most ROMs? Most of them just drop the apks into /data/app which isn't the right way to do it.

[Q] htc one xl remove branding, flash miui

Hey everyone,
A friend of mine recently bought a used htc one xl on ebay. It was very cheap but the problem is, it is branded by tmobile (german provider, maybe u know this), but my friend wants to use another provider's sim card. Because he doesnt know nearly anything about how to root, remove bramding etc he asked me if i could maybe do this for him (im more interested in such things than him ) and, if possible, flash miui for him. I have a samsung phone and so i dont know how to remove branding and flash roms on the one xl, i thought i would search in xda for this.
Now i didnt find any one xl forum here and, because he told me one xl would be one x just with lte module, i decided to ask here at one x forum. Am i right here with one xl?
If yes, it would be really nice from u if anyone could amswer my questions, even if it is just one of them:
1. What do i have to do to remove the tmobile branding? Does that first require root?
2. Because at miui.com, htc one xl isnt listed at supported devices, but one x is, do they use the same rom?
3. What do i need to do to flash the miui custom rom?

This is the wrong thread to post this question, and you cant flash any rom for the one x tegra 3 to the one xl since they are totally different. You should search the one xl thread for an miui port.

anyone with LineageOS 17.1 successfully using WifiCalling/VoWifi with the provider Swisscom?
Also Mbudget, Wingo...
Opened an issue on gitlab for my beryllium but think more that it is the case for multiple devices if not all. Because of that I'm searching people with LineageOS using Swisscom provider or a "Sub"-provider of Swisscom.
