Titanium Backup not restoring correctly - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy Note 3

Is Titanium Backup working for the Note 3 yet? I backed up all my apps on the stock firmware right after I rooted it. They dont' restore though. I changed the location of the backup folder. Does TiBu need to be updated or is there something to help this issue? I searched the forums, but nothing mentioning it.

Thanks!

Oh wow, good to know this can be fixed. This has been driving me nuts since I got this thing yesterday, I had to manually re-install all my apps from the market & re-input all the data too

Whats the easiest way to backup and restore your data?

I know this is sort of a noob question, but I just got the Nexus and I want to be sure before I lose all my stuff again.
1. When i signed into my account on the nexus, it started restoring all my apps from my Incredible.
2. I got my Verizon Nexus tonight, set up everything how I liked it... then I decided to root.
What should I have done before I unlocked the bootloader and rooted it to save all of my apps and settings?
After rooting I returned to the phone and found that everything had been wiped, and nothing restored... Why?
If i wait until the Jellybean OTA update, and apply it, will I lose everything again?
This is frustrating as hell, and I want to know how to keep everthing between flashes.
I know you can nandroid.. but thats of no use to me cause I want to keep the new rom...
Do i really have to use Titanium backup?
Titanium backup is a secure and simple way to backup, imo.
I dont wanna buy the pro version.... any other ways?
I use mybackup pro it works perfectly.

Restore and apply without root?

Hi. I'd like to transfer an app with data (trainline) from my Nexus 7 or SGS2 to my note 2. Both are rooted but my note is not. This seems the only way to restore my bought train tickets. Previously used ti backup but can't use it currently as note not rooted. Tried 'my backup pro' but it did not copy the app data successfully.
Can anyone suggest another method?

Why don't you just root it? Takes 1 minute.
App with data only possible if you have device rooted.
Without root, you can only restore Appl.

[Q] backup and restore question

Hi,
I have a question about backing up my phone. I use Titanium Backup and try to make backups somewhat regularly. When flashing a ROM (I'm now on Liquid JB rc7) sometimes I see a note about not restoring data from TBU. Where should i restore from? I think I understand about not restoring system data, but how about application data? I guess I should be using the batch bu/restore option "restore all applications with data"?
Do people backup and restore using the google account?
Thanks for helping out.
Restore MISSING apps and data in TiBu. Never ALL

Thanks! Does anyone use the backup to their google account? That is an option that I've unchecked after installing a new ROM...

I never use the Google option. It doesn't back up all your data

Figured it couldn't be as good as TiBU, especially since tons of people pay for the other.

I find using the Google backup service annoying. It doesn't do a good job with all of the data, not as thorough as TiBu. I always use TiBu and I have never had an issue!

[Q] Can you transfer Titanium backup from N7100 to N7105?

So am about to get the 4G N7105 to replace my N7100. On the N7100 I have my apps backed up on Titanium to me ext sd card. To save me the hassle of transferring the apps and resetting the phone up with my apps can I simply root the N7105 and transfer the apps only via Titanium?? Thanks.

You can transfer apps to any Android device. You can even transfer apps and their settings for example from HTC HD2 with Android 2.2 to Galaxy Note 10.1 with Android 4.1.1

Don't reinstall the system apps and settings, just the ones from the Play Store etc.

No I don't want to use Playstore if possible. As the thread said I want to see if I can restore via TiBu and just use the 'restore missing apps with data' option not system settings.
That's what I meant. Good luck with new phone.

[Q] Best way to back up apps and restore on Note 4?

Considering the phone isn't rooted, I assume I won't be able to use Titanium. Is there any other app that doesn't require root where I can backup the data from my apps to restore on the Note 4?

Just got off the phone with Samsung support...the absolute best way to back up everything on the phone is to use samsungs homegrown app...
go to www.samsung.com/us/kies
It didn't work that well in the mac environment. but once we switched out to windows 8.1 it worked great..I had a problem with S-voice that stopped working and talking back to me...they couldn't figure out what was wrong..so we backed up everything...contacts, messages, photos, videos, app's you name it..music ect ect...it takes about 10 minutes to complete...backup all of it..don't do individual things...once that's done...we wiped the phone..restored it...apparently even on the At&T phone you can get into it..to also enable ADB....im assuming that's where someone will be able to get root access....then when its finished we restored it..and it restored everything including my apps...from unknown sources . The program on that page is KIES and that's what you need to run. don't mess with anything else. Hope this helps all.
I think I may go with helium. I'm on a custom rom so no sure how well kies will work for me?
