Any suggestions most welcome...

I got one of these off amazon for cheap, pretty sure its a knockoff but the quality is OK and its the same size as the stock cable that comes with the phone.

Hi everybody,
Anybody know a good dock for the xperia s? My father has got a nice dock for his galaxy Nexus, which is very nice.
I know for xperia p there already is a dock but this isn't compatible with the xs.
But I think a dock is very useful and nice.

There isn't a dock for the Xperia S (officially) but there are some aftermarket products. I'll recommend the kidigi dock as you can even use the dock with a cover already on.

If you want 1 cable for both phones you have to buy the $10 MHL adapter and normal MHL cable.
could you show me an example ?
the mhl adaptor I will buy but why an mhl cable?? could you link a ebay/amazon..

I think there are several threads about this topic. Please use the search.

Yes, but you'll need a USB OTG Y cable, because phone is not able to send voltage to peripheral. I still think that the problem is in software(drivers), not in hardware.
