Hello,
I have a problem with the screen of my HOX. the top of the screen is a little bit detachable, like the glue doesn't work anymore. i can push it back but it still sticks like 1 millimetre out of the frame. this has been going on for a while without any problems, until now. around the middle of my screen ( a little bit lower then the micro usb plug ), the screen doesn't react to touches anymore, but it still displays like normal. it is only in the middle area, the top and bottom area of the screen functions normal. anyone has the same problem, or a solution?
Do you still have warranty? If it hasn't any marks of being dropped, you could give it a try.

So I've been having some weird problem with the touch screen wherw there is input from something that gets stck down in the lower left corner. Using CM10's developer options i can sometimes see how closw to the edge of the screen it is. WHen this happens, i'm unable to input, or the input has an abnormal effect (well, normal if you were to keep your finger on the screen). Turning off the screen returns input to normal (at least temporarily).
It comes and goes... i spend a lot pf time woth mu phone in my poxket riding my bike. I have a Nillikin soft rubber case.
I think the squeeky corner is connected, as it seems I can sometimes get it to go away by fiddling witj the squeeky corner (pushing in various directions).
Does anyone else have an issue like this?
Does anyome thing the issue could possibly be related to having a somewhat old screen protector, or the case, rather than the phone's actual body/case?

Hi,
Some time after buying my gnex it was charging on my computer desk with the USB hooked up, the cable got tangled in my chair and when I went to get the door, it slingled the phone across the room.
Luckily I couldn't detect any visual or functional defect, but after a while I noticed that if I apply some pressure to the lower left part of the device, on the screen, there is like a creaking noise, as if I can move the screen around a fraction of a mm inside the housing. I can also flex the screen when applying pressure on the top right of the screen where the front facing camera is.
Probably happened from the fall or do others have this?
I also have this very rare graphics glitch, when swiping homescreens, only happens when going from one particular homescreen with gmail widget to the one with the calendar widgt, there is like a tear in it, only lasts for a split second.
Sounds like the screen got loose when it flung across the room I don't have that issue with mine call for a replacement say its been like that since day 1
I just replaced the screen on my HTC One M8. The top 1/4 of the screen became unresponsive. I followed a youtube video, disassembled, replaced the screen and then reassembled. Everything went great. new screen works perfectly. Later o noticed that one of the corners was "popped up" I can press it down and it seats for a moment and then pops up again. The screen is lifted just a tiny amount, but it's enough to bleed light out through the sides. Any fix for this? Can i use a small amount of super glue to secure it? The bottom of the screen has a black HTC bar. I feel like gluing it should be OK as you wont see it under the black bar. Any advice or links to other fixes are appreciated.
My HTC One (M8) started to have flickering screen issues a few days back, sometimes the screen wouldn't turn on, occasionally it would turn on, but it was barely noticeable, because the backlight didn't turn on. I realized that slightly bending (no extreme force, of course) would influence the behavior: Top left, bottom right as pressure points makes the screen work, top right, bottom left makes it stop working. Similarly applying pressure on the sides (the middle of the lower half, roughly) makes the screen not work. It looks like it might just be a loose connection somewhere? Anybody have a tip for what to do about it?
And now the screen doesn't turn on at all anymore. I guess that was expected. I googled around a bit and it seems like the company doing repairs for HTC in Austria is shady and known for blaming things on mechanical or water damage (the phone fell down, but that was about six month ago, and except for a few scratches on the metal nothing happened).
Does anyone have an idea if this might just be a loose contact somewhere that I could fix by myself?
Hi,
Unfortunately for me i dropped my phone and cracked my tempered glass in several places. gladly the screen underneath was perfectly fine after drop however, it has developed a fault as the screen won't turn on at all. I tried turning it off and restarting and although i can hear the boot up logo sound i see no picture at all. i can receive calls but cannot answer due to screen not displaying.
The screen had four main pressure cracks.... one is top left, one on the ear speaker, one bottom middle and one bottom left of phone. hopefully you can see it in picture.
Can you give advice on what to try or do to resolve this? will i need a new screen or disassemble to see what the issue is?
I've only had the phone for 2/3 months at most
Thanks in advance
looks like i will answer my own question....
i bought a replacement lcd & digitiser, one complete unit and swapped the necessary components over to new screen. all is working and good. not sure if the screen is repairable but there are other parts inside this screen worth selling on. it still has a non cracked immaculate screen along with the charging port and other stuff inside old screen.
at a cost of £70, i consider this an expensive fix
Thanks for the input kakawak
cheers
