I just keep consistent with Samsung phones. From S3, Note 2, to Note 3, all are white.
Grabbed me a black one. My wife has a white S4 and wanted to keep it easy. TMobile is my carrier. Dropped AT&T for them last night.
After the titanium Grey of the note 2 and the black mist of the s4 I got tired of dark colors so white for me, it looks very elegant.

Had a white Note 2 and wanted to try a black Note 3, but the store ran out of black yesterday.
So, I picked up a white Note 3 instead! Well, my current case is a black Spigen Protective Bounce, and therefore, it mostly looks black anyway!
I think black looks better due to the leather-like pattern design, but the white one stays cleaner without attracting the finger smudges not as easily as the black one. Then, if you are like me, using a cover anyway, then, does it really matter?

I'm thinking of doing the same, because even with ETF (for 4 lines t-mobie family plan is much cheaper...
Black. It blends the camera and other sensors much better.
I usually always get black but I do like the texture on the back more than the white one. It just feels more grippy.

I have the white otterbox and it always looked good on my phone. Never really had a problem with it being dirty.

I'm using the white one and it's staying nice and clean, even when working on the motorcycle. Haven't had anything that Windex won't clean up easily.

yeah just wait until oe of u guys actually drops the white otterbox and watch it leave a nasty mark on it, something that windex prob wont be able to clean. lolz, get the black otterbox, it does look much nicer on the white one. althought if ure careful and arent flumsy then white would be pretty good as well. both white and black otterboxs look good for the blue and white GS3s, i didnt like the blue otterbox for the GS3 blue. its too bright.

I have a blue S3 and I'm going with the white most likely, for the simple fact that dust collects in the crack between the screen and the bezel and its super noticeable for me, on white its hardly as apparent, plus I don't need to be professional

I will go with white. It is more elegant, and not a fingerprint magnet. I looked at the blue color of the s3 and found the faux brushed aluminum looks... plasticky, for lack of a better word.

Grey, I don't like the black edges on white phones. The effect is bad on my iPhone, probably better on note since it's so big but I'll still go with grey. I don't dislike white, but I'll get grey this time.
Gray all the way.. I got 2 gn1 and had to replace one because some screen defect when upgraded to ICS and the ssc replaced my phone for a new one.. But they didn't have another black and gave me a white one..
White its girly.. I just got home and gave my wife the white and took her black...
And yeah professional looks does matter also... Can't imagine myself on a blue /grey/black tuxedo in the office and getting out of my pocket an extremely big white phone lol..

lol....i used to think that too....but now i don't think so....
There are many other samsung colour that are more girly such as the red and pink
I'd far prefer black, but I just don't like the Grey. The grey looks cheap to me for some reason.
I'm getting white. White is a neutral color, nothing girly about it.
Besides, it'll go in a thin case eventually.

Im going with Grey if i decide to get one. The white is nice but i get phones too dirty and the gray will hold the color better.

Got a white one because #1, it's the only one they had on display and didn't have titanium. #2, I've had grey/black phones before in the past so white is something new.

Titanium since I noticed, to me, that white attracts more attention. The size alone will attract attention. A white one, IMO, will attract A LOT more attention....

After years of black phones I went white crazy with the EVO LTE, GS3 and now Note 2. Now that I got white out my system my next phone will be anything but white.
BTW...I also think white phones just look better in black cases, giving them a nice two tone look.

I settle for white again. As the Titanium is the same finish as the metallic blue of an S3. I feel it makes it look cheap.
I have had the white S3 since launch day and it's whiter than my room mate.
It's glass and the back covers are cheap if it does ever change color. I don't mind paying the $8 for a new battery cover or a aftermarket one. It's been what like 5-6 months now and my battery cover is like new.
An extra $8 every 6 months for a white battery cover is nothing. I'll probably have this phone for 6 months to a year and a half.
The bezel is silver, so you really have to do some damage to ruin the "white".

I absolutely love my white Note 2. There's one thing that does slightly bother me, not a deal breaker though, if you get the white battery cover with the front flip cover the inside felt of it can get a bit dirty.

I had a white s3 and then got a gray note 2 but returned it for the White note 2. The return was because of an issue with the first phone. Glad I got white! Love it! The gray was nice but too dark for me. :thumbup:

Many people have made the same points I have made in the past. White looked good on the OG Note 1 (which I once had) but it looks lackluster on the Note 2. The titanium gray is absolutely gorgeous! I find myself staring at my phone a lot lol. And when any source of light hits it in a certain way, the brushed aluminum finish pops drastically! The white Note 2 just looks really boring, plasticy, and kind of cheap. That's just my opinion.
Had a white skyrocket and the white Note II and very happy with phone and color.
Once you put a SP and Case you can have any color or metal case color you want.
The white doesn't show scratches and looks like a new phone.

As someone else previously mentioned if you end up putting a case on it then it really doesn't matter. In fact I don't even know what my Note2 looks or feels like without the case on.
But yes I am very happy with my white note2, great looking, and great in general.
I got a white one because when I ordered the Retentions rep told me the grey could be backordered by the time my order was fulfilled. I like the white, havent had a white device yet. I would have MUCH rather gotten black, as the displays on Samsung phones look amazing in a black bezel.

I'm tired of seeing the white one. I had a white S2 for two years. I like the black S4, it just looks nicer to me. I like that when the screen is off, it kind of blend in with the phone.
Doesn't white hide marks better?
Although I suppose it doesn't matter if in a case.

Like you I was used to getting the dark s2 & s3, so I decided to get the white s4. Tired of getting black.

I had the Pebble Blue GS3 so I went with the Frost White this time around just cause I was a little sick of the blue. Honestly since the black on is actually black this time and not dark blue they both look fine. I think the white looks cleaner and stands out better than black, but it's really a personal preference, they both look fine, just depends how flashy you want to be.
I went with the white but now I feel a bit too feminine. But just the thought of having to return it just for a different color sounds like a pain lol.

If you're planning on getting a case for your phone, see which one looks best with black or white. I have the black case with a clear case...looks very sleek. The white S4 can go very well with certain case colors...it all depends...but this is how I determine which color to get.
You can't go wrong with either one IMO.

I too feel white phones being more feminine because most girls get white phones and black has more of a man color feel...I came from a white S3 but now got the Black mist S4
I got a white s4 herr just because I feel it has a more premium look to it. But the black s4 is by far the sexiest new color they came out with. If you look at the back it has such an amazing texture.
