i had unlocked bootloader and installed twrp and rooted my LG Og
but i used to get problem while rebooting , it used to stuck
so i disabled unlocking and restoreed efs using freegee
today i thought of wiping data so i went into settings >? and used the backup restore option
phone rebooted and stuck on a boot failure screen saying ceertificate error
i downloaded teenybin , and lgnpst acg
insalled lgnpst and put phone in download mode and flashed the bin and dll as its said
the phone rebooted on 67% but it didnt do that on 85% and lgnpst asked me to disconnect and do power cycle and stuff
i disconnected but couldnt do nothing
i tried pressing buttons and tried attaching phoner in download mode
but was able to go in recovery , but there is nothing i can do in recovery as the phone doesnt ahve any backup and no roms in storage
can anyone tell what should i do

If you flash with LGNPST then go into the factory recovery by holding vol-down and power together, then do a factory reset. might solve your problems but you will lose everything on the sd card (sounds like you might have already) but after that you can root and unlock. someone correct me if i'm wrong, i only used LGNPST once

won't let you get into download mode holding both vol buttons and pluggin in usb? weird. If it lets you get into twrp, go to advanced and use the file manager to see if the backup was moved to '/sdcard0/0/twrp/whatever' because if you flash aosp then it does some weird emulation and moves **** all over

looks like many folders are totally empty
Are you making sure the phone is completely off by holding the power button for 60+ seconds then trying? A few seconds of the power button won't shut it off all the way. Unplug it and holds power for a good full minute then try download mode

LGNPST will wipe all partitions except /data which is why they say to do a factory reset in Stock recovery. After that you can use engines root guide to root and unlock and install twrp again

If your phone reboots at either 67 or 85% I believe it's finished. If flashing with LGNPST doesn't work I'm working on uploading the LG flash tool which will wipe and flash back to out of the box clean to the point you have to reactivate it on sprint network lol

LGNPST rarely wipes SD. It will also keep your data. That's why we have to wipe to get it to boot up. Factory reset in stock recovery will wipe SD, and everything.

how would i put that on my sd card tho?
Take your sd card out and put it in a micro SD to SD adapter if your computer has a SD slot. B. Use another phone and put your SD card in that. C. Rule of thumb always make backup and if you did just go to restore and restore your saved ROM. D. Use Odin and restore that way YouTube a Qbking video about flashing threw Odin.

What is the version of CWM you are using?
Have you tried flashing a new or different recovery, like TWRP maybe?
What is the exact process you are using when the installation fails?
Go here and download TWRP 2.4.4.0 & CWM Touch 6.0.2.8 - place them on your external sd card via the above described method/s then try flashing the CWM recovery and then rebooting to recovery. Now try flashing a Stock ROM (make sure you're checking the MD5 to verify a good download) if that doesn't work then try the TWRP recovery, etc...

Try holding Volume Down, home, and the Power buttons. This will get you into download mode. Then Odin a stock TAR file using a method displayed in QBKing77's videos. Search around, you'll find something. If you're still unable to find anything after a while, give me about an hour and I'll help. Good luck!
Ok unfortunately I decided to root my LG and obviously thats was my first mistake. I was reading xda about how to root my LG Optimus G. Well i found a thread that talked me through it but I decided to take the short and download freegee from the playstore. And needless to say in the middle of it backing up someone decided they felt the need to call me. I didnt answer the call but it went back to downloading the recovery. When it finished it said it couldnt find the files. Long story short my phone worked for 2 days before it decided that it was gonna be deactivated and i no longer use my phone unless its on wifi. I talked to sprint the tech told that basically everything is gone and the biggest part thats missing is the radio and if i could recovery that or flash a new one then I have buy a new phone. Can anyone please please help me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :crying:

Hi, I had the ROM DARTHSTALKER... and then I installed the Jedi elite to try a different one, but i wanted to go back to recover some messages of a girl, so I tried to restore the DARTHSTALKER backup from the ROM Jedi. It ended up in a loop, rebooting constantly... now I tried to UN-root it to begin from 0 and it keeps rebooting and telling me at the beginning in red: recovery is not seandroid enforcement and then some times if it loads, i says: optimizing apps... and then it says Finishing boot (it stays there for a while) and then the T-Mobil logo appears (it stays there for a while) and it reboot... After that it boots until it says: "process system isn't responding" and I have 2 options, wait or close, none of them work
How can I fix this I'm using TWRP Recovery
Thanks guys

Once back into the rom, use goomanager from play store. click menu and install recovery scrpit. Once done, it will ask you do you want to install twrp 2.6.3.7. yes you want to do this. Twrp 2.6.3.1 dn has known issues with the Note 3

It's not going to. It does not have to time load the drivers for you to interact with. You will need to pull your sdcard out of the phone.

When you made your backup, did you also back up the EFS.

the kernel file is a zip file. Put the SDcard in your computer, download the file onto your SDcard put the SDcard back into your phone and install it using TWRp

On here's what you do, as I had the EXACT same problem that you have. I fixed my brickloop by doing the following:
(I would backup your efs partition before doing this, just for completeness sake)*
Installed Stock firmware via Odin,*
Installed TWRP 2.6.3.2 via odin, rebooted to recovery
Did an "adb shell" when phone is in recovery mode to run commands via TWRP
From the ADB shell: Wiped the EFS partition with the following command:
mke2fs /dev/block/mmcblk0p12*
mkdir /efs
mount -t ext4 /dev/block/mmcblk0p12 /efs
(the last two commands probably did nothing, but thats what I did anyway)
Did a Factory Reset*
Then... reboot to system
Afterwards, no more boot looping, the phone successfully registered on the mobile network, and my IMEI is there and correct. Seems like the EFS partition can rebuild itself now I guess...These commands can also be ran from TWRP

Not to sound like a jerk...but this is the reason why companies lock down bootloaders and what not. You can fix this issue that you caused by following a few steps or getting an SDCARD reader for your computer and transfer the files to it that way. They are dirt cheap. It is not Tmobiles fault that you screwed up a flash. Just my 2 cents.
For some reason DoomKernelV14 refuses to boot on my phone.
From Stock GB (unlocked bootloader), I tried flashing it with fastboot by using
Code:
fastboot flash boot boot.img
(After re-naming the DoomKernelV14.img file to boot.img of course and putting it in my fastboot folder).
After that, fastboot reported that flashing was successful, so I went to turn my phone on so I could boot into recovery so I could install Dixperia 2, and all I got was a quick vibrate and a black screen of nothing. Having done that I did a battery pull so I could put the phone back into fastboot mode, and use the commands:
Code:
fastboot erase userdata
fastboot erase system
After this I could put the phone back into Flash Mode (which I was unable to do after attempting to flash DoomKernel. From here I flashed the Stock ROM so I could turn my phone back on again.
After this I tried the above again, using the erase userdata/system commands above before I flashed DoomKernel and had the same problem.
Could anyone offer any insight as to what I might be doing wrong?
My phone is using a -64 baseband, and a .62 build number.
BUMP
Have you tried redownload the kernel? Maybe your download is corrupted.
And after your phone vibrated and stayed dark, have you unpluged your cable and took out your batterie a few seconds and then tried to start it again? And you shoud always erase userdata, dalvik and perform a factory reset if you flash a new rom or use a new kernel.

Yes done all that, to no avail Each time I have done this I have been going from Stock GB (unlocked bootloader). I also tried re-downloading the Kernel and that did not work. I have installed Cyanogenmod 7.2 in the past with no problems (before going back to Stock GB) so how come DoomKernel is causing no end of problems?

It seems like many users have problems with DoomKernel v14 (just look at the last 10 questions). Maybe you could just try another kernel, like lupus. is this the first time you try dommkernel v14 or worked it in the past for you?

The firat time you start doomkernel it will seem like your phone is bricked as soon as you press power atart pressing the back button and a screen will come up that will allow you to install a Rom off the sd card. I thought mune was bricked firat time. When doom starts the blue led starts its not flash its just what it does.
1. Turn on the phone
2. Press back button until Rom flashing screen pops up
3. Install Rom from sd
4. Boot rom

It's from one of those theards i mentioned [Q]Play bricked?
The only people who have trouble with kernels seem to not read the directions before they flash it they flash it and think omg im bricked it wont turn on . If the blue led shows doom is working you just need a Rom on you sd card and start pressing the back button as soon as you see the blue led and an installation screen will pop up. This is so you dont have to see the install screen everytime you boot. Before you install a Rom make sure its compatible with doom

Except there was no blue light on, nor any light at all for that matter. Also, since I was not able to get as far as even installing a ROM, I should also note that I had done my research, and was going to be installing Dixperia 2 (and the author of that ROM says to use DoomKernelV14). I was going from Stock GB.
I ought to note that I never said it was bricked, as I have been able to get back to Stock GB, as noted in the original post.
Before you go walking into posts implying people didn't read the instructions you should probably read the original post.
Now does anyone have anything helpful to add?

How does one go about obtaining these?
Flashtool is a simple copy paste when you do the install. Im sure you can find the log in flashtools files. The logfile from the play should be in /cache. And is a. Log file. Maybe called lastinstall.log or something similiar.
I havent had a play for a while so dont quote me on that lol but if its not there im sure someone.in the forum knows where it is.

I put TWRP Recovery on my LS970 and tried flashing the Liquid Jelly Bean ROM on and it ended up with just pure stress. Before I flashed it I had wiped the dalvik and normal cache and even factory reset it before flashing and it said it installed correctly. I restarted my phone (and I do have an unlocked boot loader and recovery of course) and it was stuck on the Google unlocked boot picture. I tried flashing it again and Ive used LGNPST and LG Flashtool and none helped. I was wondering if there is a possible solution to this perhaps I could send a flashable zip through my computer? Please help

Do you have any other roms on your SD? If not, try to adb sideload a stockish ROM. Adb sideload is on first page of this. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2082084

You'd said you had liquid installed and LGNPST failed, so liquid should still be installed. So in recovery, wipe those 4, flash liquid then gapps and see if it works. Then we'll go from there.

So you did the wipes, installed liquid, installed gapps, then rebooted and are stuck. Do you have ADB installed? If so DL this TWRP. http://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=22909751817929287.
Extract the recovery image using 7zip.
Boot your phone into fastboot/bootloader Then cd to the folder the image is in. Then issue this command.
"fastboot flash recovery recovery.img"
You may need to do this first. "fastboot erase recovery" then "fastboot flash recovery recovery.img"
If your not comfortable doing this, just google fastboot and you'll find info on how to do it. This thread seems pretty thorough. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=41374534&postcount=1
Then go here, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=36270473&postcount=1 to ADB sideload a Stockish Rom
If this doesn't work then you'll probably end up having to use LGNPST

Ok now we're getting somewhere.
When you used teeny bins, it installed the wrong version of TWRP to use with KK Roms. In your recovery is the version 2.6.0.0?
The easiest way to change that recovery is to use fastboot and install a KK version 2.6.3.3. You can find those in the TWRP thread or the root guide under Working recoveries.
You can also use CWM recovery if you want
So follow what is posted above, install a KK recovery, then you should be able to install Liquid.

No worries. I can't remember where that bin file gets extracted to, but if you're downloading the bin that's fine too. I forgot to mention that ZVC is the most current, but if you have ZVB that's fine if you're gonna run CM/AOSP
