ViperX ROM has an option to add custom app notifications at lockscreen and it works with Whatsapp.
Goto WhatsApp > settings > notification > popup notification, and set it to "always show popup" Then you see your notification in lockscreen, you can even reply

Does anyone know of a mod or app for facebook that doesn't have the 3 dot button menu at the bottom? Or a way to turn it off? And also to get rid of it on this xda app?

If you are rooted or/and unlocked bootloader, then THIS will remove it.

Just a quick problem I've been having the last few weeks, I keep getting two notifications when I receive a sms, in the notification bar it looks like a postcard icon not the regular sms icon. Also I used to get the msg preview pop up.. Not anymore though. Currently using apex launcher pro, been over settings with a fine tooth comb and tried disabling sms alerts but that second alerted keeps coming up... Any ideas anyone?

Back up texts and try do a cache and data wipe of the app restart and see if you can set up messaging how you want them wiping data is the fix to 80% of app issues hope this is useful

That won't work, it's not an app its htc messaging, the stock sms. There's no cache to clear I don't think.

AFAIK, it is not possible with the HTC lockscreen but you have some great alternative widgets on the Play Store:
* DashClock Widget
* Lock Screen Notifications
* LockerPro Lockscreen
* Missed It (paid)
I am still testing which one suits best my needs but they seem all to respond to your request.
Check the settings in whatsapp itself, it is infact possible

if you are talking about sense 5 it is possible in viperx rom
Hi there, any way to enable lock screen widgets? Apparently this option should be available to tick on security settings but it is not there. Full stock. Thanks in advance

The stock messaging app doesn't have a quick reply feature. I currently use textra which does have quick reply. I know there's a few other apps with this option as well. [emoji6]
What about Wen u have a text with stock app and u want the screen to light up is there an option for that

There is that option in stock setting. It'll pop up when you're on any app.
