Tiberius does that to Telus based roms. Probably a good idea to ask in the kernel thread about it. Or flash T-Mobile stock and debloat with titanium backup and flash Telus modem. Don't have to, but personally it works better in my area anyway.

I am currently running a CM10 rom by "erickwill". I have a Telus T989D and tried flashing the Darkside Kernel - hercules_DARKSIDE.VENOM_A07.3_CM10.
After flashing rotation was reversed, so portrait became landscape and landscape became portrait. Calibration did nothing.
Does anyone know:
1. How to fix the rotation issue?
2. Or if there is a CM10 Darkside kernel for Telus?
Thanks!

Flash the rotation_fix.zip from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1779819 I had this exact same issue a week ago.
I use the hercules_DARKSIDE.VENOM_A07.3_CM10.zip kernel, with any of the CM10 Nightlies.
For a radio, i use Telus_SGH-T989D_TLLE4_radio.zip : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1639771
And lastly for recovery, cwm6012touch_v12.5_hercules.zip : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1844637
Awesome. Rotation zip fixed it. Thanks!

Glad to hear! I'm using the same phone you are, still wrapping my head around all these different packages, but I've mostly got it sorted, I think.
It can get confusing for sure. I've been running CM9 on my HP Touchpad for a few month now, so most of this stuff is becoming more familiar.
I love this phone. CM10 is awesome if you really want to be on the cutting edge. I have a Nandroid that has the DARKSIDE kernel installed but I'm REALLY diggin Jedi Knight right now lol....
I am up in prince george on telus. Here is the best setup I have found with my phone so far.
Rom: Jedi Mind Trick v7
Kernal: Faux123-009
Launcher: Nova Launcher
Radio: Blaze_LB7_ICS
I tried a few other rom's but always had issues. The changing the launcher on Jedi Mind Trick helped lots.
I'm building a JB ROM for Telus/Hercules if anyone is interested... I keep it as stock as possible so you can tweak it the way you like it.
Runs rock solid, no reboots/etc, no rotation fix required, awesome battery life... Potluck JB
I also use the the UVLH radio, rather than the TLLE4 radio - reception seems better with the newer radio.

Ahhhh...I just posted a question about this very thing, all it took was a minute more searching but I knew that would happen...
Thanks for the links to the radios.
Hi guys, I got my glide sent over from the u.s (I'm in the u.k) a few months ago, it was already rooted for me, and as such, I'm wondering what rom and kernal I'm using?
The details I can retreive are:
Android ver 4.0.4
Baseband : I927RUXKJ5
Kernal : 3.1.10-I927UCLG9-CL970642
Build. : IMM67D
Does this give anyone any clues?
Is this the stock ota ics update from at&t?
The phone is a rojers one.
Stock kernal?
Just wondering as was thinking about flashing the litekernal, and not sure if it would work ok with the rom I am using, as this rom is very stable..
Btw cwm is installed etc..
Thanks..
James.

Correct, that's the UCLG9 Samsung stock rom with stock kernel and you should have no problems installing the ICS version of litekernel.

Hey guys. So, I've been reading and reading and flashing and everything.
Got an S4. It was running 4.3 and I was having Wifi issues.
I had read it was a software issue and welp, I've always liked Cyanogen Mod so I installed that.
It installed the nightly build which was WAY too buggy (I use my camera a lot and it kept failing) edit: but the WiFi worked perfectly!
I got back to 4.2.2 now but now the WiFi is Totally not working now and i'm getting that message about
Kernel is not Seandroid enforcing
set warranty bit : kernel
and it takes forever to reboot.
Since I was on 4.3 do i need to flash that stock rom to get my stock kernel back?
Or can I install deoxed version??
I still need to put custom recovery too!
I know this is a lot of questions and i'm not much of a n00b.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

If you are using any Cyanogen/AOSP/AOKP/GE/KiKat roms then please ignore the following.
If you are using a M919 Tmobile Samsung S4 Jellybean Touchwiz 4.2.2 based rom then here is
the way to fix your wifi issue.
Here is the download link for Ktoonsez's custom kernel:
http://ktoonsez.jonathanjsimon.com/sgs4/TW/KT-SGS4-JB4.2-TW-TMO-12.12.2013.zip
Download it and flash it using cwm/twrp recovery and the wifi will work for you again.
Good luck!
I'm running the stock rom but it seems like somehow it didn't overwrite the Cyanogen kernel.

That means that this kernel is for you..... "IF you are really running the stock rom".
If your rom was REALLY stock, I mean if you "ODIN" flashed the stock rom using the
official Samsung M919 4.2.2 Jellybean Touchwiz firmware from http://SamMobile.com
or other sources then whatever kernel you had the stock rom would have over-written it.
If you are sure that it's not over written that means that you have NOT ODIN flashed the
official 4.2.2 M919 MDL firmware.
Good luck!
Hi XDA Members,
I have an average understanding of rooted android devices and roms. I currently have a Tmobile Galaxy Note II (T0ltetmo)(T889) that is rooted. It has TWRP on it. I am running currently pacman rom (pac_t0ltetmo-4.3-20140128.zip) which works fine.
Here is the problem.... I am trying to upgrade to a Pacman Rom that is based on Android 4.4 which I have found. I installed the Pacman rom 4.4 & GAPPS stock 4.4 which works flawlessly, the only problem is..... My Radio doesn't work! I have my GSM Sim in and nothing comes up! Heres the thing aswell... I installed other roms that are based on 4.4 and the radio's doesn't work on any of those ROMs either, as soon as restore my other backups that are 4.3 the radio works.
What could be the problem? Is there something I am forgetting to do that the developers didn't tell me? Do I need to install something else that wasn't specified?
Please help!
Flash the newest kernel and modem if you haven't already. I noticed much the same when just testing 4.4 from a 4.1 rom.

whats up guys im having a bit of trouble finding the stock roms for galaxy s3 im looking for the latest stock rom thats rooted. it can have small tweaks for performance. If anyone can provide a link that would be sweet thanks again guys i tried looking up stock roms but it didnt help to much
Well with the information you've provided I'm left not knowing a whole lot, so I'll just assume you're on the latest nd8 build and if so here is the link to that stock rom http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2741413
please make sure you read the Op, because if you are not on the nd8 build you DO not want to flash this.

how'd you have trouble? and the latest ones flashable are under the name ND8 and NDC....
If you're on JB 4.1 it is mandatory you update via unrooted through PC ODIN first before you actually flash the KK TW Roms.
Stock Unrooted L710VPUDND8 or Stock Unrooted L710 BST/VM NDC
Once you're done then you can head to these two threads for the stock odex/deodexed versions of the ROM
Stock Rooted SPH-L710 Sprint Model or Stock Rooted VM/Boost ROM
Kudos to @jdsingle76, @DR_CDMA, @CNexus for these.
The stock ROMs don't carry tweaks. But there are great and standard tweaks you can find on XDA-D. But you should
only use it as a last resort if you're device really does need it. One tweak would be Operation Killjoy by Team Kernelizers
and the other is ComaDose v3.5 mod tweak mashup for d2spr by Goddly.
( Kudos to @Exit_Only, @kobridge, @Phakker, @j_ding84 and @idcrisis for all of the insane mods/tweaks and @Goddly for the mashup ).
Thanks guys I'm running miui 4.2.2 currently I'll look into the threads posted thanks again. Do I need to flash the nd8 tar if I'm on 4.2.2 already?
