[SOLVED]My Nexus is stuck in a bootloop

So yea im stuck in a bootloop. My phone all of a sudden rebooted itself and it never went past the boot animation. I am able to boot into recovery and fastboot. When i do a factory reset and system restore then flash a the rom all over again it still bootloops. I dont have a nandroid backup cuz they got deleted from my sd car. Is there anyway to flash it to complete stock through recovery or use adb through recovery flash to stock. please any help would be much appreciated.

I used toolkit 5.4 and it worked like a charm Thanks for the advice and assurance buddy, i did panic a bit though. This never happened to me in all my time flashing, well ive gotten bootloops but a quick full wipe and reflash of the rom fixed it, not this time. Thanks again.

Find the yakju Odin file on xda or Google it. Extract and run the exe. Put your phone in download mode (volume down + power) plug it in via USB and wait till it restores your phone. You will have a factory restored 4.0.1 Galaxy Nexus after. Once your phone is restored, you should be prompted for 4.0.2 OTA update.

Galaxy Nexus Booting into Fastboot

Hi! My volume down button on my Galaxy Nexus is not working (i broke it while opening the phone). I recently flashed a rom and tested a mod which as it turns out was incompatible with it. Now I'm stuck on a boot animation with no way as far as I know to get into fastboot/recovery as I cant use the Vol+,Vol-, Power combination. Is there any other way I can get to recovery/fastboot or another method to flash a rom ? Thanks
If you can boot into recovery, hook it up to a PC and use ADB to reboot into fastboot.
adb reboot bootloader

I can't get into recovery isn't the only way to get to recovery through fastboot ? My rom doesnt boot so I can't get there throught the power menu. And ADB is not working while the phone is stuck in a boot loop

Out of luck then unfortunately.
So the only way is fixing the volume keys ?

I think you could also buy (or make) a USB jig that will force the GNex into download mode on power-up, and then you can use Odin to flash the stock images.
As it boot loops continuously attempt to adb reboot recovery. Even though the system doesn't fully boot I've had this work before. My first Nexus had the same issue with the volume down. Once you manage recovery use the adb method to boot to fastboot, and flash what you need to. Hope this works/helps.

Galaxy S3 softbriked? Odis and recovery mode not working.

ATT S3 stuck at the Samsung galaxy 3 logo, i tried to use Odin and flash but it wont work (stuck at system) and I cant access my recovery mode. I try to go into recovery mode but it just reboot and goes back to the logo.
The only thing I can access is DL to try to flash it through Odin but It just not working , I tried the original update from samsung and the jelly bean and it keep getting stuck in the loading system.
please advice , I am desperate.
Are you trying to flash back to stock?
I went through this the other day. Boot into the stock recovery and do a factory reset. Wipe User Data/Factory Reset I believe is the actual option.
Should boot fine after that.
*nevermind... didnt read it properly, obviously wont work if you cant get into recovery... my bad

Or ADB command.
Have you tried: vol up+home and then adding power? When I do the 3 at the same time, it doesn't seem to always work but that way does. Just a shot in the dark.

not working boss,on my samsung wave 2
Looks like you may be soft bricked. You can always send it off to JTag for repair. This guy on eBay does it for $35 and he has 700+ sales with a 100% satisfaction rating http://item.mobileweb.ebay.com/viewitem?itemId=271160547396
If you can get into dl mode you can fix it. And make sure that you are trying to get into recovery the right way. I know in times of frustration getting into recovery can be annoying. ...a few deep breaths wait a little while then try for recovery. If not. .. down load the newest odin, erase and down load New drivers for your phone and attempt odin again, Flash stock rooted.

I am having similar issues i'm able to get into download and keis will begin emergency recovery but both options fail at system.img.ext4
recovery is un available and outs me into connect to keis screen which is download ot keis download.
would any one have a stock recovery of original DLK3 that would be for odin, or a location to download it. keis said if I could get into stock recovery....
thankx
i'm not even stressed yet I went thru this once with my captivate and I got out of that one.
I think that running kies and odin at the same time can disrupt odin. Not 100% on that but I always disabled or removed it first as per something I had read. Also if you have been running anything using ADB on your PC, use the task manager to make sure it is not still running in the processes. It has caused me problems getting a connection to the phone to stick.

Stuck on Samsung Logo

Hello. I was trying to get Kitkat into my phone but my Rom Manager didn´t want to work. So i thought lets try to reset to factory setting. And ya. Then i got stuck on Samsung Logo. I can get into Download menu by pressing Vol Down-Home and power button. but i cant seem to get anything to work. The phone is rooted using Odin.
My phone is Samsung Galazy Note 2 GT-N7105
Anything that can work to get my phone atleast to work again is appreciated.
Regards, torkkel
If you can't get recovery then flash phils recovery tar version through odin and then flash what you want or restore a backup. If that doesn't work flash stock with odin and start again. Last resort try mskip toolkit from skipsoft.net

1)Was the firmware specific for your device?
2)pull the battery and put it back again do you see the phone booting up without pressing the power button?
If you can't get into recovery mode (power, home and vol up) then I'd try to re-flash the stock rom through kies- not sure what other options you have. Then you can re-root it.
