I wanna using HDR and Panorama camera mode on ARHD6.3.1.
Normal ARHD's camera apk can't use HDR and Panorama camera mode.
I wanna get a patch file or camera.apk for them.
please tell me!
I don't think that's gonna work, as it's part of the framework. Which means you can't replace those system files without messing up the ROM.

I am not sure about HDR ... you use some app from market for this purpose ... i think camera360 will do it ....
and for Panorama with default camera apk ... there's a mod available ... try searching the forums ... i have it but i don't remember the link ... just search and it'll be there ...

I found it!
so most of us have switched to 4.2 or 4.2.1 ! and i really used to love the camera video effects in the camera which have been removed since 4.2 ! so how do i get those back ? i found out camera ics app form the market but apparently they dont show any effects other than the background changing effect ! i need those big eyes,big mouth etc etc... whih m sure can be added with the libs required form the 4.1 system ! so if any1 could assist me in which libs it used .. i'l b really thankful !
right now m on purity 4.2.1 rom and it jsut dont show me those face effects
I have downloaded ICS camera app from Play store and it have the effects but them does not work correctly everytime..
there may be somewehere modified camera app from Jelly Bean 4.1.# what can be installed to Jelly Bean 4.2.#
EDIT: I'll try to modify the camera .apk to get the effects..

its not the camera.apk its the missing libs ! when i was on 4.1.2 and i used the effects even on the ics camera app ! its just that in 4.2 the additional effects libs have been removed ( m guessing)

JB 4.2.# have same camera lib files than JB 4.1.2 (except photosphere lib files..), about ICS I don't know, should be exact same files on ICS..

and not the camera from ics 4.0.4 just lme know if u get the face effects back on whatever rom ur running on
so no updates on this ? :\ not even on 4.2.2 ?
I'm also missing that! Now what we have are some stupid filter effects. I didn't try Camera ICS yet but I don't believe its the same ...
Any solution on that?

I'd like to know if it is possible to change the HOX camera firmware?
I am under JB and i believe that there is a problem with the focus. No way to take closed fotos, like bugs, spider or QR code.

If you aren't rooted, you can't make nothing...
If you are rooted, you can install mod for camera.
However, if you are stock, did you try an hard reset?

Yes i am rooted and yes i did an hard reset.(i am stock)

I tried it, i believe i had a probleme during the install, it came back under recovery very quickly, i believe i am odexed.
Happy for me i did a backup because the camera gave me a black screen and stop working.
I did a restore.
have the same issue, and sent the device to HTC, waiting for it to come back, i'll let you know what they did on it, but it look like a faulty camera hardware !.

Try the 4.2 camera patch, photosphere is amazing and the normal camera is way more natural then HTC one.

Psyko93, could you or anyone else help a total noob on the location of the 4.2 Camera Patch please? Where can I find it? Is it a zip that can be flashed?
For some reason, I have what looks like the normal 4.2 gallery on AOKP, but I don't have Photosphere.

I have installed CyanogenMod11 on my Nokia xl from the link provided by xda developers,i have noticed that my camera and radio are not working,so i have deleted that camera app and install Google camera app from apk mirror
But I can't understand y any other camera apps are also not working on my phone ,it's not at all opening.
Except that camera and radio all the other apps are working perfectly

You Are Talking About My ROM I Am Sorry But If You Have The Stock ROM Reinstall It
I need help with linageos 16 in my s3neo because
1. i know there is a camera APP because i can See it in the instaled apps but it isnt in the APP drawer
2. i tryed instaling other camera APP (open camera Form the playstore) and it cant acces the camera

S3 neo comes in two camera variants. Flash the other one.
