OTG is not compatible with SGG......unless some dev makes a kernel with OTG support..
Stickmount
Hi,
I'm not sure if StickMount can help you in this case as it looks to be a Nexus specific tool but you can give it a try. Link below:

You can't use USB OTG on Galaxy Grand; you need a kernel which supports USB-OTG for it. Currently there are no compatible kernels for Galaxy Grand which support Galaxy Grand
@Stickmount
i tried stickmount , nothing changed!
For usb connection
-go to setting
-about phone
-click on build no. Several times around 6 times
-developer mode will be unlocked
-get out of d about phone
-you will find developer options click on it
-turn on the developer mode
-click on usb debugging
-restart ur phone
Now try to connect to the usb
Hope this helps you
Mine works fine wid this
Good luck

The kernel for SGG currently doesn't support USB-OTG feature, and as of yet there are no kernels made for this feature.

As mentioned in above comments by rutvikrvr, Usb OTG wont be supported in grand unless someone makes a kernel which supports usb otg for our grand. There is no use of doing the steps, it wont work.

The usb otg feature is not in the grand itself... Dont waste ur time on this.. The mini usb port on the grand has an extra stick kinda thing... So usb otg cable cant go in ur grand fully..

Well bro dual boot just means to have 2 roms on ur phone..simultaneously...and u wil have 2 chose which rom to boot with wen u switch ur phone on...
Some phones can even have tri or quad boot...
Its juat like running windows and having Linux on ur computer and u have a choice which OS u need to boot wid when switch on ur computer..
Grand duos specification mention that OTG function can't be use in this phone..
Any chance for us to get this function work on our phone?..
If got..pls help me to give link for it..
thanks..
What I know is that the hardware does not support. Compared to galaxy note that when usb otg is connected immediately it indicates, grand does not respond when connected.

yup..i already notice that also..
my fren already try it..not working on v11..
Thats a huge flaw of our device..
Curse samsung for that..
Just hope that someone comes up with a custom kernel that works...
I personally think that we will need externally powered otg even if the kernel is built..
The pin config. May not support powering the usb drive..
Sent from my GT-I9082 using xda app-developers app
The galaxy note natively supports usb otg but cannot also power a external hard disk. For the grand there is the presence of UsbDriveA-F on the storage.folder. I don't know if this is just a remnant of a samsung generic firmware or a deliberate building block for a future otg support. I really hope so.

Thanks in advance.

please read other threads before asking #nooffence .... usb-otg is a feature which depends on kernel of phone! and yet,no kernel of galaxy grand has otg compatibility(seems samsung dont wanna provide one)... k2wl has made some custom kernels but they support only oc..not otg till date!:fingers-crossed:
Hello
After installing CM11 on my phone, some apps do not work as they should.
I used apps to hide sms photos and videos, however, the sms are not being hidden
The applications are:
Hide it prr
Vault-Hide SMS, Pics & Videos
None of these applications are hiding text messages.
The messages are appearing in the default messaging application on the phone.
Is there any way or any app able to hide sms in this rom?
