At the moment no and i doubt Samsung will update our SGS4 Mini, although the hardware would be capable of running it. Maybe some dev will show up and make an port of CM 10.2.
Basically because we dont have an flagship device.
I think we will have one update. This phone is not popular yet, but it's matter of time. In some countries it's not yet officially avaliable.
Wysłane z mojego GT-I9192
No reason at all why Samsung wouldn't update the S4 Mini for at least all the updates in it's 1st year of existence.
Thanks for your answers, and comfiemos hope that if it does.

Even my old Motorola Defy which was a cheap phone was upgraded from 2.1 to 2.2 and even 2.3 on some markets.
Ofcourse Samsung will update the S4 mini to 4.3, but not as first priority. I think in November/December maybe first January

KitKat is meant to run on much older phones apparently so I reckon if not 4.3, we should get 4.4 at least.
Sent from my GT-I9195 using xda app-developers app
Thats just a hunch.. Samsung is known to lack big updates to theire devices other than theire flagships.
If the update would come my guess is, it will skip 4.3, and go with KitKat instead. Just like the SGS3 that skipped JB and gets 4.3 next month.
So if the update gets through i think it wont be anytime sooner than april-may 2014.

That's not correct, SG3 have JB but version 4.1.2, they skip 4.2
I think they skipped 4.2.2 to 4.3 because they are a minor update.
IMO I don't think they will skip 4.3 to 4.4, because this are a major update
I think that if we have 4.3, will have to wait and trust that if you

I have the Galaxy Nexus (Verizon) phone. After reading and reading through these forums, I was able to complete the following:
1. Downloaded and installed Galaxy Nexus Toolkit V5.4
2. Unlocked the bootloader (which wiped all data)
3. Upgraded to 4.0.4
4. Rooted the phone.
My Galaxy Nexus now has a great 3G/4G signal, switches from landscape to portrait immediately and generally works great! It is without a doubt the best phone I have ever had!
In one of the other posts, I read that this phone is going to be upgraded by the end of March 2012. Since I already have the 4.0.4, what is this going to do to my phone? Should I be concerned?
as 4.0.4 ota isnt really there yet i guess you installed the leaked rom or a mod based on the leaked rom. that will probably have broken your ability to receive ota updates. If the rom you use right now is stock or very close to stock you could just flash a rom from google when the ota update is out and then receive it to get 4.0.4.
In short there is probably gonna happen just nothing when the update is released.

4.0.4 ota = 404 ?
Does anyone find the numbering of this Android version ironic?
Here is this OTA that a few people received, but is "not found" by most of us, and it is numbered 4.0.4... oddly similar to the HTTP 404 error code for other resources that aren't around when we want them.

Update 11Sept'13:
Ricardo's Comment : LG Optimus G Pro (GSM/LTE)
So... after asking around a bit, it looks like all the GSM variants of the G Pro carry the same hardware, except for modem firmware and antennas (which we never change, and neither should you ). This means the CM builds currently labeled as e986 should fully work on any e98x variant, without changes. The one possible exception is E985 (the China Mobile carrier variant).
So... in previous occasions where this happened, we labeled these multi-variant builds for the base model (the one ending in "0"), and we'll do the same again. Sometime soon the e986 builds will become e980.
Full Credit to the developer Ricardo Cerqueira Here : https://plus.google.com/115049428938715274412/posts
Also Credit to CM Team to do wonderful Work on CM.

This is the first time I have built kernel only and worked in first try
It is a stock kernel built from Samsung sources, nothing is changed (yet).
It should work on cm12.1 rom for others I don't know.
As @aapav01 said this kernel should work on:
Code:
Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 3G
Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 LTE
Samsung Galaxy S3 Neo (i9301i/i9300i)
Samsung Galaxy S5 Mini
Downloads:
Download 1
Mirror 1
How to install:
DO BACKUP!
Flash the zip file trough CWM/TWRP recovery (tested through TWRP)
Changelog:
28. 5. 2015
Code:
-initial release
source: https://github.com/LGaljo/android_kernel_samsung_s3ve3g_LL
Sorry for not noticing that, but I have found that updater-script doesn't work. I will try to find out what is going on and then add links back (everything will be clear over this weekend). Sorry again
