Newest rom is pa latest updated.btw are you gsm or cdma?
Sent from my One V using xda app-developers app

Sent from my HTC One V using xda app-developers app
If ur phone has a sim its gsm.otherwise cdma.
Sent from my One V using xda app-developers app

Sent from my HTC One V using xda app-developers app
O sorry.if u prefer jellybean(i assume u know whats that)the paranoid android rom by 1ceb0x is good for you.its pretty fast and over 90% stable.its android jellybean 4.1.2.if u prefer the stock roms(like the one that came with ur one v, which have htc sense, again i assume u know that), i suggest my sense v rc 2.0 rom by ckpv5.

Have you tried a different kernal? Under clocking? There's also app called greenify that let's you hibernate apps when not in use.
